A captivating Story with a Psychotic villain
First things first, this c-drama was great, it had a captivating story line, a villain like most dramas do but that doesn't change my opinion as some villains can be like annoying to the point where if affects your opinion on the whole drama itself but I don't really care, cause the story line was unique for me it kept me going whilst watching this ongoing(1-32) the cast was amazing in terms of acting and sticking to their characters aside from the concubine(Li Rong's step-mother) It was like well for me, her acting was too forced but it was funny at the same time? the music was like another additional thing that was enjoyable for me it was special and complemented the scene that was shown. You may see that idk some reviews that are a lot different to mine but this is an honest opinion from myself and MY OPINION so please don't start anything. Just some advice, don't read the negative reviews, I read them myself some are not genuine and are hating on the fact of how the villains character was in general not the one who played it. If you think they're genuine carry on, I can't control what you do lol. But just remember that If you decide not to get into this drama you will be MISSING OUT for sure as it was definitely worth a watch I might even watch this for its first year anniversary (just my fave eps?)Anyone reading this take care, and choose wisely as to whether you WANT to watch this or not.

~One of the best kdrama of 2024~
I started watching this because of the title, it intrigued me in a way as I am a fan of thriller kdramas I was looking for something to binge-watch and I found it!! This kdrama is packed with action, relentless fighting and drama. Its definitely one of those kdramas you can watch again, the cast, the acting top-notch? The ending was expected because they wouldn't kill the ML and he had most of screen-time and he's what supposed to be a mercenary bad-ass fighter. Just one thing about this show, too predictable I basically predicted the ending and that bale (whatever) villian was alive. Personally I like shows that are less predictable which will intrigue me to watch more and get more hyped up. Besides that, this kdrama was a blast for me, I found that pyscho (the boy who locked up jeong jian) quite annoying and impulsive but his death made me fall off my sofa, fr bro has such an easy death!?Definitely recommended for thriller kdrama-fans...!!!

Truly a masterpiece✨
I started this drama, without knowing the cast but my friend urged me so I thought I would give this a try? This drama started of great, original plot/storyline of the exception of superpower ofc but the cast was amazing in terms of acting and how the characters have their own little story. From their hear-fluttering love story (ML and FL) and their ever so touching brother-sister relarionship this drama stole my heart. I absolute,y loved the ML just seeing him made me feel butterflies in my stomach, which I haven't felt for long and truly loved this drama and hope more drama like this come an original plot, with a captivating cast. Please do give it a try, even tho the romance mah be slow they did make up for it with some cute scenes and it felt like they were a newly married couple every time they were together?? An absolute MASTERPIECE is what this is I got no words!...The ML, FL, ML sister and ofc ML's daughter truly stole the show for me??
Will miss the drama ever so much dojwu??
PS:I only rated it 9.5 rewatch value cause it made me cry too much?

A Realistic Romance
9.5/10
This cdrama was realistic for me as not all love stories aren't perfect or about passionate kisses but about the geniune care between the two and their feelings towards each other.
The ML potrayed this perfectly, what really got me cracked up was that the second couple got married first?
The ML's sister was annoying but that's her character she's just over-protective over her bro and feels like she needs to be their for him more, gradually she gets less annoying?
Thats why I gave it a 9.5/10?
Plus they had a tragic past, I think the hate needs to stop towards her, all characters has their flaws and theirs nothing wrong with that.
This deserves higher than a 7.9, the cooking in this was so tempting and the growth of all the characters was amazing,
Defo worth a watch if you want to watch something with more realism.

On of the best cdramas of the year! 2023
I watched this drama when it aired a few months ago and was really fond with the acting and storyline as I love stuff to do with time-travel and parallel worlds. The story was getting good but suddenly got confusing throughout the following episodes which really tested me. I think the ML was a bit too abusive towards the FL it made me hate him and it was like he had no facial expression like a robot In some episodes. However, It was worth a watch, something original and fresh is something rare to see. The ML looks like one of those good-looking guys from a mabga both leads are food looking.I am currently watching this for the second time lol, really recommend this drama!

Best Heartwarming Family drama of the year
Best choice ever is maninly a family drama which protrays huan's growth, pain and love and relationship between her mother. She cuts ties with her mother out of anger and tries to be independant. Truly a nice family drama the ML's were great in terms of acting realistically and showed a great, loving relationship. We may not have had much intimate scenes and kissings but remember this is a family orientated drama that mainly focuses on huan's family, you coulc also say the mum's the main character in this show.It comes to realisation that your mum has always been their for you, and cares for you and that you should hold on to your parents before its too late, have no regrets maybe not forcing marriage with her ex-boyfriend. She had good intentions but was clearly fixated on huan's future but slowly realises what huan wants is different to what she wants for her.
Truly, worth a watch after so many struggles it ended with a happy ending, perfect for those family-drama fans out there!

The ultimate k-drama remake
Family by choice started of decent, the elder-brother and second brother are kept the same except one thing that they changes, in go ahead the second-brother had no ex-girlfriend and was single however in family by choice he had one. Their might be some slight changes, but the characters are kept the same and the drama gets better each episode and has a lot of potential. Hoping to see the episodes progressing to a good standard, which I don't think will disappoint! Hwang-yeop is finally casted as the ML which I'm quite stoked about, he manages to play high school kid quite well!!Was this review helpful to you?

A rollercoaster of emotions?
This drama, first started out quite interesting to watch but first episodes made me cry like a whole lot, It started off quite tragic and started to melt my heart. After a few episodes, I got bored of it as in the FL. No hate towards her just not really a fan of how she portrayed her character when she was a teen(immature). Other than that, I started this drama for the ML watched his drama SGNS and CG this one he keeps dying but will survive in the end and have a happy ending which is what I’m hoping anyways! But overall, this drama made me quite emotional and I didn’t even get this emotional when watching TW but this drama it cute, annoyed me a bit but I watched it ongoing so future viewers who binge watch this prob won’t feel annoyed like me lol. I know so many people who dropped this drama after like 5 episodes, but I still carried on for BWS and I’m glad I did because it just got better every episode. The stalker is what pissed me off to the brim seriously so many kdramas just have to have a flipping stalker in the way. But the stalker isn’t as scary as the one in MD lol that was over the top. I would say the ratings are quite high for this drama tho I mean it’s not THAT good too the point I’d watch it again like no, made me cry too much and the FL annoyed me like hell. Idk maybe the ratings are like high cause of BWS. But I mean it’s well deserved for the acting of both main leads and the support roles (Im sol’s bro and bff) the crew did a good job. Really loved the grandma too. Not too bad of a drama just wouldn’t rate it that high I mean overall I would give it idk a 9 for me Ik it’s like not much of a difference from 9.1, but it’s not that good of a drama, I mean if your in the mood to absolutely cry your eyes out and be pissed at the writer’s decision of leaving Tae-song’s unrequited love untouched then yeah perfect drama for you! I also enjoyed the OST too BWS outdid himself in this drama by debuting his first ever songs!!Although I didn’t like the FL character as a teen I would say I enjoyed her more as a mature adult she went through a lot and even lost her love in the process to protect him which I found very heart touching. After watching 15 episodes, I’m ready to finish this drama once and for all without missing it but I guess I’ll miss Im sol and sun jae.
