High Angst, A Love worth fighting for

I binged this drama as soon as it was finished. I love the actor who plays the male lead. I loved it. The drama is insane! Sooooo much angst between the ml and fl, they fighting against everything, so many misunderstandings. I was screaming sooo much. The villainess of this show did such a wonderful job, I absolutely hated her lol she was the worst and she lasted till the very end. the ml's sister showed great character progress, she really changed and very much won me over. The war time and all that was incorporated into the show was so wonderfully done I felt the characters passion and cried with so many of the sacrifices that were made. The Male Lead grew up well, you really see just how far he came and matured throughout the show. I most definitely recommend this drama. It is an emotional rollercoaster but the love was really special. the only reason I didn't give 10/10 was the ending. I think it was really rushed that last 2minutes with our FL, they could have given us another minute or two of a reunion.

Hilarious and Spicy

This was a cute movie. I watched with my friends for Girls night and we all enjoyed it. It was hilarious, so many funny moments we were absolutely dying with tears in our eyes. It was also spicy, there were quite a few sexy scenes , let just say we were stupidly shocked by the skin, it’s definitely rated R for mature nudity. The entire cast really did an awesome jobs with their rolls, a few pieces were very cliche but in the best way, we loved it. I definitely recommend it for anyone who wants a laugh. And loves the love/hate trope.

Adorably bite sized!

Peng was a perfect fix for girls night! It's very short and sweet. The episodes are only 20 minutes long and there's only 10. I loved it I really wished it could have been longer maybe 30minute eps with 16 total episodes. The cast was great the the storyline was also great. I loved the characters dynamic, they really meshed well. The girls friends group was everything, The guys becoming friends was also everything. It was so freaking adorable and funny. it keeps you interested, and has just the right amount of drama to keep you hooked but not bogged down. It was lighthearted and fun. I really recommend it!

Interesting and Addictive

I loved this show. I stumbled upon this show by watching a clip of a spin off of this show so I decided to start with the begging and I'm so happy I did. I absolutely loved it. I fell inlove with the characters immediately! The love hate relationship between our FML and our LM was Everything! I was rooting for them from the start! I loved everything about this show the storyline was fresh and new. The characters were also all new faces to me, I realize this is an older show but I very much enjoyed it. It keeps you interested and craving more, it was thrilling. As soon as I finished I'm already pulling up the continuation of this series which is a spin off.

OHHHHHHH My HEARRRRRRT!!!

This drama is easily one of my Top Favorites, no matter how many times I watch it, I always fall in love all over again and get shattered in the process. This is such a good drama. It packs one hell of a punch! The cast couldn't have been better, they did a phenomenal job with their rolls. The soundtrack was great! This story is a tragic one, it will have you on the edge of your seat so consumed by the lives of each character and trying to unravel the past and find the connections to the present. Some would call this is an age gap romance. Our male lead is guardian god (a Goblin) has been living since with an immortal curse for the past 939 years, the only one who can release him from his life of immortality is the Goblin's Bride. Knowing that you should be prepared for an emotional rollercoaster! Our little bride is a 20 year old girl who has lived a very hard, exhausting, sad life. When our two cross paths it's a hilariously beautiful and bittersweet thing. I was so unprepared. I fell so hard for the Grim Reaper, who is just simply existing, neither alive nor dead, carrying out his duties a punishment

Absolutely Amazing

I loved this Drama! I will watch anything Yang Zi stars in. She is incredible and never fails to deliver an amazing performance. I love her, She killed it in Lost you forever! She’s funny, charming, sweet and Bold! She always invokes so much emotion in me. i loved her role here, she starts off impersonating a young man in a village just trying to live an honest and easy life. Trouble always finds and she was meant for so much more! I devoured this Drama in 2 and a half days! I loved is so hard! How can you not love it! There are 4 male leads and ofc I loved the RED FLAG the hardest! He’s my Roman Empire! Xiang Liu is played by Tan JianCi, I’ve never seen him before but i fell so hard! He’s mean and a pain in the a22! But you know what he’s always there for her and their relationship was everything! Gah! I need that season 2 immediately! Our first male lead is her long lost cousin/brother CangXuan, i had mixed feelings about him from the start! He’s gorgeous and made something of himself in his ambition to get the crown. I believe deep down he has such a deep love for XiaoYao, but he keeps it hidden to get to the top and protect her. I love that through it all he backs her, and her decisions. I really didn’t care for ShiQi/Jing. To be honest, he got on my nerves from the first time he let let our girl down. I should’ve know he was gonna be full of issues from then on. He really disappointed me and it killed me even more how much XiaoYao held on to him. CangXuan should’ve handled that from the beginning. I honestly don’t really count FengLong. lol he gives major golden retriever energy and he’s adorable but just didn’t rank high on my list, I would take him over Tushuan though. I loved the episodes of FengLong and XiaoYao bounding, when XinYue said “you turned your crush into a buddy” i died! They had such great fun together. now as for my Love, Xiang Liu. He keep me on the edge of my seat! He was so temperamental and he gave me whiplash. But you could always see his sincerity in his devotion. I think the only one who never saw was XiaoYao. He really keeps everything close to the heart and has major issues sharing. he’s a little bit psycho but i think he tried so hard for XiaoYao. The ending left you in such a good place. You want more and know there is so much to come, and things are finally happening. I’ll just be here fantasizing over XiangLiu and thinking of these characters and what’s to come!

I'm In Love! Color Rush was PHENOMENAL!

Gahhhh! Okay so..I've been wanting to watch this for a while now, It's always been on my watch list and I just kept putting it off because I have little eyes always around me and I never know if a drama is going to be spicy so I just try and watch those after my kids are in bed. Well I needed something different so I turned it on last night and binged it in a few hours! Like ahhh whyyy did I wait so long! Also the eps are only 15 minutes long. I loved it, I was sooo hooked from the first episode. This story is so unique and it peaks your interest and has you dying for what will happen next. The storyline is about a teen with color blindness and how he deals with his daily struggles. Yeon Woo is know as a Mono someone who has Monochromacy, It's the absence of any color vision and it's very rare. In the story people who are Mono's have what is know as a Probe, it's a person who can unlock the world of color for a Mono. In the story Mono's are known to be dangerous to their Probes, often becoming obsessed with finally being able to see color that they will do anything to be with their Probes as to not live in a world of darkness again. Yeon Woo is living his life with no color, seeing different shades of grey, white, and black, everything is dull, lifeless. Until he switches schools and comes face to face with his Probe, Yoo Han. This moment was Everything! I loved the syfi way they made his experience it was amazing, I loved it. When Yeon Woo get his first full look of Yoo Han's full face he experiences a "Color Rush" an in-rush/ sensory overload of Color so intense that it causes him to pass out. We quickly learn that looking at face of your probe is what enables a Mono to be able to see in color. Once Yoo Han's face is covered or he is no longer near Yeon Woo 's world tuns back to dull and lifeless. This was very intense to watch, because you really see how quickly the situation can escalate, how a Mono could easily fixate on their Probe, how quickly everything can change ,and just how dangerous the relationship can become. What sets Yeon apart from anyone else is how aware of his situation he is and he tries to constantly avoid his probe for his own well being.seeing the characters emotions made me emotional, everyone did a fantastic job of making the viewer really feel what Yeon Woo was going through. I was brought to tears watching Yeon Woo go through the Decoloration process, it was absolutely heartbreaking. Watching them learn what this means for the other and all they go through, later you come to find out that Yoo Han also has a deficiency of his own and you can't convince me that these two aren't soulmates. Their connection surpasses strong, Yeon Woo kept doing his best to push Yoo Han away and Yoo Han wasn't having it. He wanted teach Yeon about all the beautiful colors in the world. I know the episodes are just 15 minutes but it was very intense, And addictive. I highly recommend it!

Epic Thriller, It will have you on the edge of your seat!

I absolutely Loved this show. This was by far one of the Best Dramas I've Ever watched! All of the characters were well developed and really keep you guessing. This was my first Lee Joon Gi show and I fell so hard for him! He really had me hooked, I was so twisted up and filled with anxiety over my feelings for him and what side of the line he was on. What really happened and who's responsible? This is a man who has hidden for years in plain sight. After hiding his identity he's living a normal life with a family and a job. He was the perfect example of "just how well do you think you know someone?". I was literally on the edge of my seat so anxious to see what would unfold. His detective wife played by Moon Chae Won, was a phenomenal character. You connect and love her from the start. You also want to smack her because let's be honest "girl, do you have no sense of self preservation". She's a woman who knew what she wanted and lets be honest I would have strong armed Lee Joongi too, it he would give me the chance. I was a complete wreck emotionally waiting for all the pieces to come together and the inevitable shoe to drop. I needed to know what was going to happen and what is real and what is fake. This easily goes down as one of my favorites! I highly recommend it.

My Top #1 Drama

I have absolutely no idea what I'm supposed to do with my life now. I stumbled upon this show and before I new it I'm 3 episodes in and completely hooked! This series is based on a xianxia novel, it falls under fantasy and romance. The book is written by Dian Xian called Heavy Sweetness, ash like frost. I have not read the novel because they don't have an English version yet, but I do hear that there are some slight differences from the novel but all in all the TV series was even better than the book. I came across the series and fell in love! It is in mandarin, but it has English subtitles so that was how I watched and interpreted it. And I couldn't have loved it more! It's Everything! Jinmi is so wonderfully naive and innocent, she is the embodiment of happiness. She flits around unknowingly causing chaos and stealing hearts! I loved her so much! There were so many laugh-out-loud moments, this storyline is absolutely epic! It's so intriguing and you just get swept away in the story trying to find out the past and what the future will hold. I loved Xufeng, He was handsome and captivating. He is arrogant and softhearted, you fall head over heels for him and the way he treats his little demon/grape fairy jinmi. I shipped them from the get go but I was not ready for the everything they were about to put me through! Man, they are absolutely brutal on the heart! Their love is unlike anything I have ever read or seen yet! It's oh so worth it! I loved the Matchmaker and Mr. Hu, they were absolutely ridiculous and perfect in every way! Puchi/YanYou was another favorite of mine! He was so charming and mischievous, such a trouble maker with a heart of gold! And last but not least Fish Fairy/Runyu, he broke me. I love him and want to string him up! He made my heart hurt and exhausted me! This man made me so torn. There were so many moments where I was just like "ugh, him, pick him". I think out of all the Characters RunYu was the one who changed the most. And I was just so broken for him. This series seriously put me through the wringer! These characters steal a piece of your heart! They each are going through their trials and fighting for what they love and believe and it's so addictive! All I did for 4 day was binge this show! And it was Fantastic! I'm left so overwhelmed and full of so many emotions. I'm buying this series, the book and show(amazon) because I just need to always have this readily available to rebinge. If your thinking about watching it, do it! You will not be disappointed! I now have it extremely bad for these characters and left glaring at my husband asking him just what lengths he go through for me! SIGHHHHHHHHHH! Deng Lun & Leo Yunxi are my Current Crushes!

An Emotional Rollercoaster

What the Heck! I’m sitting here in the dark sobbing my axx off! I went into this drama completely unaware of anything about it. I heard it was a good show about how all the characters are connected with their past and their present. And I recognized the lead female and was like okay, let’s do it….When I get ahold of the girl that recommended this show to me….. MANNNN This show put me through it! I was not prepared to be this invested into it, I was looking for a filler, something different and calm,, No. THE TEARS IVE CRIED!!!!!! But it was so dang good! This Story is heartbreaking and it will absolutely have you in a chokehold. This male lead makes you feel, he did such a wonderful job with his character. This was my first time watching a drama with him, He’s not your typical male lead. This guy works his azz off and tries so hard to keep everything together and to look out for everyone dear to him. He is grouchy, with a heart of gold, I was hook line and sinker for him. My heart absolutely broke for him and everything he has had to endure, but through it all he never broke or gave up. Our Female lead was another beautifully written character, you got to see inside the brokenness of the aftermath from the tragedy. You feel her pain and her family’s, all the families. Gosh the emotional is so raw and real. The Love ties are all so well played out and you can’t help but root for each relationship. The only reason I didn’t give this a 10 was because I just kinda felt like we needed more the ending with the tragedy was quickly over shadowed with Kang-Do and kinda just wrapped up too nicely. I was so busy feeling the grief and then the relief of the ending that once it ended I realized it was done too quickly and easily. I highly recommend it! But definitely be ready with the tissue!

Rough, Not for the faint of heart.

This drama is absolutely heartbreaking! Kudos to the cast and everyone involved in making this show what it was. They did a wonderful job on showing their viewers just how serious domestic abuse is. This was very real to watch it all unfold, it's scary and not for the faint of heart. This Woman's story was so hard to watch, and it showed her from many different point of views and the husband's illness was also very well portrayed. Domestic abuse is very much swept under the run and not talked about and the abuser is usually kept guarded by those around him and that was exactly the case here you actually really saw it for how it is in reality. Most abuse victims have a hard time leaving and I feel like that was also portrayed really well. Also it's so easy for on lookers to say "she could have left, she's just being pitiful, it's an act." and we also saw pieces of that from "HaeRa". I have nothing bad to say about this drama. It is very much hard to watch and can be a trigger for some. The romance that we get is beautiful and how he respects and helps to heal her is so precious. I will probably not rewatch this though just because it was a hard one.

A Beautiful Journey

Run On was a really good watch! The Storyline is unique and even though it’s not thrilling, it has a comfortable feeling that makes you want to keep watching. This was a slow burn, the characters take you on a journey as they try to navigate their life with work, family and love. I really loved all the characters, they were refreshing. Our Main Lead is so different, he has this whole air about him that’s just so unique, he’s so hard to read. I’ve never seen this actor before so I didn’t know it this was typical for him or this was just the roll he played but his aloofness was just so beautiful. Seon Gyeom is a Talented, handsome man that keeps to himself, does exactly what is required of him and nothing more, he lives a very straight and clean cut life. Or he did until he keeps having run ins with a chaotic film translator that makes him “wake up, come alive”. I really enjoyed their love story, it fun and hilarious and sweet and soft. There’s humor and the two females are my favorite duo. Our second lead couple really gives balance for our main couple. Dan Ah and Yeong Hwa are just as interesting and addictive, if not more than our mains. They had me rolling in tears from laughter to heartache. I didn’t give this 10 stars because after finishing it I realized I had finished it and while I did really enjoy it, it wasn’t a must watch. It’s one of those show that you can watch to enjoy because it’s good, but don’t watch it if you’re on a roll and wanting exciting, all consuming romance. Run On is a comfort show with low angst and all the warm and fuzzies. A Really good watch to make you happy.

On Edge and Emotional

Wow. Soooo. I'm going to be 100% honest, I went into this solely for Hwang Inyeop. I knew absolutely nothing about the storyline or the other cast members and boy was I not ready. This was such a full drama. It's got a strong female lead who has done everything in her power to rise to the top. Her story is absolutely devastating, what she goes through, what happens to her, her struggles are so shocking, she was a very powerful character. Our Male lead was also an astonishing character, I was not expecting his past to be what it was or for him to be what he was these ten years later. The two main character fates are constantly intertwined. This was such an emotional show. It's full of betrayal at every corner, and you are constantly on the edge of your seat waiting to see what's going to happen next. I was screaming at the tv and full of tears. I'll definitely be coming back for a rewatch.

This was Fantastic!!!!

I loved this!!! It's Hilarious, it's Tastefully Sexy, it's great!!! I watched this with my sister for a girls night. We couldn't stop laughing and cracking up, we also squealed and raved! The two girls in this show did a fantastic job, you feel their bond. True friendship, real relationship problems and yes Sex!!!! No one every wants to have these conversations but they are really so important! Not only is this about being okay with your own body and your own desires but it was also about being safe and how important communication is. This show is so slept on! Yes their were risky scene's but they were done tastefully, and the romance in this was so sweet! 10/10 I highly recommend!

So Dam3 good!

I devoured this final 8 episodes of part two. The first part left us full of suspense and dying to know if the tables were about to finally turn and if Yeon-Jin’s true colors were about to be revealed. Gah! I don’t know how it’s possible but the second part was even better than the first! Hands down this is definitely one of the best revenge drama’s I’ve watched, it’s currently in second place on my list. I loved it, its heart poundingly thrilling. I couldn’t wait for them to get what they had coming to them, and at the same time the ending had me sweating. It was beautifully done. I definitely bawled at the end and I’m so happy with how everything turned out. I have to say it’s HyeKyo’s best work yet! Great Job Netflix!
