In love with Xuan Ji and Si Feng ❤
I'm loving this drama with a BIG capital L! A great story line, off the hook on-screen chemistry between Si Feng and Xuan Ji, and so far this drama is not draggy.Crystal Yuan as Xuan Ji is without a doubt the CUTEST beautiful girl I've ever seen in a Chinese period drama. There are some beautiful Chinese actresses out there but I think Crystal Yuan as Xuan Ji is not just another pretty face but her cuteness as Xuan Ji is what totally win me over! You should check this drama out to see what I'm talking about.
Cheng Yi plays Si Feng who is the "cool and distant" type but Cheng Yi is able to bring out Si Feng's warmth from the way he's looking at Xuan Ji, from his glances, and little smile. He looks cold but not arrogant. You can totally see it on his face how much he loves her.
Their superb on-screen chemistry is definitely what makes me loving Love and Redemption so much.
I can't wait to see the rest of this drama but as usual non Chinese viewers must wait longer for English subtitles.
(UPDATE: September 11th 2020)
Just finished watching this series and I must say this drama has the most satisfying ending I've ever seen in any Chinese period / fantasy drama. Bravo!!!

Oldie but goodie ...
This one is old Japanese drama from the late 90s but I decided to write a review because not only it's still one of my favorite Japanese drama of all time but I also miss this type of Japanese drama. Not so much about the story line but more about the acting and the realness to it. Kimura Takuya was still so young here but his acting was already good even back then.More recent Japaneae drama series are mostly very awkward with unnatural acting, and disappointing flow! specially if you compare it to korean, Taiwan, or Chinese drama production.
I still hope Japan can keep up because Korea, Taiwan, Chinese, and othernAsian countries used to copy Japan's entertainment everything ... but now they surpassed Japanese so much, it is almost painful to watch any recent Japanese drama.

Got me hooked!
I'm glad I decided to watch this series because the story line is superb, the acting is great, the on-screen chemistry between all actors are awesome, and even though the story is a bit dark but they mixed it with enough humor, romance, and "healing" in it which make this drama such a treat to watch. The lead actress plays her character incredibly well and all those dresses she got to wear are to go psycho for 😅
There are few surprises in this drama that you didnt really see coming but some how it worked well.
All in all, this "helping each other to heal" drama is definitely my favorite Korean by far of 2020.

The 5th version of "Fated To Love You"
I've watched the original Taiwan version, the Korean one, the Thai version, and Japanese one too. Currently, I'm watching the Chinese adaptation of Fated To Love You/ You Are My Destiny. After watching the Japanese version which I thought it was so horribly done, I seriously don't get it why they even bothered to film it, I didn't have much expectations for the Chinese version. However I'm glad I decided to check it out because it's way and way better than I expected.
I still like the original version better though when it comes to acting performances. Ethan Juan and Joe Chen, they're one tough act to follow! ? But how the story flows in Chinese version definitely better than the original one. I love how in this version, Wang Xi Yi is a lot more firmed with his own feelings and actions ... I love how the connection between Xi Yi and Jia Xin is nicely portrayed, specially in episode 15 through 23.
Overall, it's a good watch.

Magically awesome somehow ...
Goblin is the first Korean drama that I actually watched while it was still on-going. I remember how I waited patiently every week for new episodes to come out. Yes, this drama is really that good, it made someone like me who isn't into fantasy drama fell hard for this series ... either that or maybe the charm of Gong Yoo? or maybe the flow of its story line? or maybe the dry humor that's actually funny? or maybe the whole mortal and immortal love thing ... I'm not sure ... but somehow they all mixed together and it created an awesome drama series.Any how, if I really think about it, even to this day I still don't like this type of fantasy drama but somehow Goblin is still on my top 5 most favorite Korean drama.
