A light but well-made investigation drama.

I liked Catch The Ghost because of the the investigation case that was very interesting to follow. The comedy aspect keeps a sense of lightness and ensures that the investigation does not darken the drama too much. There is also a bit of drama that will touch you and made you think about the importance of family relationships.

- Story -
Basically, the plot is about catching criminals in the subway. I like how they show how things work in the different divisions of the police before starting the main plot. I think it is necessary to put the setting first. I never got bored, the story kept me interesting from the beginning until the end. In my opinion, the drama is overall very well-paced. I was surprised in a good way because nothing was obvious, I liked the plot twists they made. Also, the cases are very well-explained so even if I watched the drama after a long tiring day, I could enjoy it without having to use my brain too much. I liked how the drama can be funny but also very touching at the same time with the background story of the main characters. The mix was really well-done.
If I had to say a negative thing, it would be about the romance. Don’t watch it if you want a romance, because it’s very very light. They could have add a bit more romantic scenes, but it did not bothered me that much because I understand the reasons of it. And there are still some scenes that made my heart flutter.

- Characters/Actors -
I loved the main leads. I could understand their feelings and have empathy for them. Also, I liked their clash of personalities. Go Ji Suk is more on the good policeman side who follows all the rules, and Yoo Ryung is on the impulsive side. It helps to develop their characters and be more open-minded. I think they had a good chemistry throughout the drama. Also, I’m impressed by the acting of Moon Geun Young who played really well two different characters. I could differentiate them easily.
Most of the supporting characters were really good too. But the character of Ha Ma Ri could have been better written. She is a bit annoying sometimes, and there is a good reason behind it, but at some point there is a change in her personality which seems a bit sudden and not explained.

- Music -
I loved the OST. It fits well with the drama and is very beautiful. I feel like some songs could have been used a bit more because you mainly hear them in the ending and not much during the episode.

- Conclusion -
Overall, I loved the drama. I’m glad I’ve watched it. I would recommend it if you want to watch a light drama that is not complicated to understand, and is able to make you laugh and touch you at the same time.
