The drama started off great when they are at school...the initial comedic relief was great and I found myself laughing and enjoying myself...then they started to fast forward the characters' life 10 years and everything was still fine

the problem starts when they introduced new characters that you haven't been introduced yet and and left you confused on whether or not you've known that character during the short brief intro in their highschool lives.

But it was still fine when they decided to sprinkle the backstory of some of the new characters as the episodes progress...the only issue with this sort of approach is to have us the audience to keep up with the story with no connection to start with so either you get confused and disinterested on these characters or you decide to filter them out because they aren't relevant..

Some of these characters were used once and never again and for me, it's kinda a waste of time to introduce them as a prominent character (old friends/long lost mother/etc) but having no impact on the story whatsoever...If you change these said characters having no correlations with the main couples, you wouldn't even notice the difference. .

Honestly, the side couples had better story to tell than the main couple...their conflict could've stupidly be avoided if they told the truth from the start instead of hiding it for no reasons, but at least their objectives in their love life is relatable (one wants small happiness, the other aim for bigger long term happiness)

Regarding the main couple, I thought their confession to like each other could've done better than how it ended up...for me, there's quite a few times before that they could've confessed to each other which could've been better and more appropriate in terms of emotional impact but it didn't, so kinda rather disappointing

The villain here is a bit petty and kinda thuggish and not worth mentioning..they could've make him a bit better but they decided to make him weak and simple minded...so it doesn't make me wanna root for the main guy, but it made me wanna things to get done as soon as possible so i don't need to see how it ended up because it's already been decided by how weak the villain is

OST isn't anything unique, it was something you heard hundredth of times already

I dont understand why this drama has high rating value...the story is so-so, the characters especially the villain (principal, soo ah) are very cliche' kind of evil character, comical...The based plot of this drama is cheerleading in order to get high chance of going into university...there are a lot of other curricular activity that are basically easier to enter and gain the curricular grade needed to get into university like theatrical acting which can easily be done solo and dont need to coerce or threaten another group of students who just wanted to be left alone (in other word, the villain took the harder route to solve their problem rather than finding easier way around)

The acting was ok, the fall onto the hero scene was used way too much just in the first two episode...The main actress is volatile (one time, she has her own standing and opinion then the next, she broke down and cry) It's either one or the other, dont create a character who is independent and not independent

They fast forward the romance between the two main actors way too fast...I mean, just in episode 3, I could already see that the main hero likes the heroine...I wish they make them hate each other and doesnt want to help each other at all but slowly unravel their relationship as the story progress

The school idea of 'good grade students will be treated well while bad grade students wont ' is cliche' and unrealistic...there is no school that has this much bias for rich good grade students over bad grade students...even if it exist in the real world, the students can easily go to ministry or education and report this misconduct of treatment and the whole sha-bang will be over within a week top

I'm being objective here and didnt watch this because i think the actor or actress are cute...so my review should be objective too

I'm being objective...this drama don't have a villain, the story revolves around 5 students who wants to change their lives for the better and prove to everyone that even though they are in the lowest rank school, they could easily enter the highest rank university (or so they thought)

this drama show the struggle of an orphaned male student who lives with his grandmother and wanted to quit school so he could work and help ease the burden of his grandmother

show the struggle of a young female student who lived with her mother (that works as escort) has given up on studying because of her degrading results

show the struggle of an abandoned female student who lives alone in a luxurious apartment that her parents provided for her as she tries to figure out where her real motivation lies

shows the struggle of a male student who comes from a rich family but lack the motivation to study and only wanted to pursue dancing as a career

shows the struggle of a male student who studied hard but seemed to make the same mistake every time he took the test

together they carry baggage of their past and future selves and work their way to succeed in their last final year as highshool students

The drama is well written, relatable and heartwarming at the same time...the music choices were the back bone of the emotions of this drama...there are some spark of romance but ultimately, it;s about friendships and hardships and determination to steer their life around for the better...

I highly recommend this drama

I don't trust the reviews that gives 10 at everything because they're blinded by the hot guy/girl combo and lovey dovey scenes that happens every 10min in one episodes

So I'm gonna try and be objective

STORY - a good concept of a story, love story between a UN soldier and a doctor that helps those in need in other country...the initial plot was decent enough but it starts from a duty/responsibility vs romance to a complete romance story

The villain was actually menacing at the beginning, you don't know what he'll do but at the end, his intention was known and you left with a question "uhh...that's it?"

He was sold as a big mastermind behind almost everything but at the end he turned out disappointing with petty survival motive.

The main casts were good enough, but I feel I just don't buy some of their character's progress direction is in terms of their love story progress...

I expected a more professional approach by them especially the male soldier and the female medic...Their love story doesn't feel military professional-ish since there should be ranking and respect involved but they barely touch that...

OST - generic music that you hear often in dramas

The biggest issue is how they try to milk the love/tragedy incident a number of time especially towards the end...it was good the first time and maybe the somewhere in the middle, but at the end, where everything was calm and collected, the director/writer threw a curve ball and decided to make it tragic again...then happy again as if they can't decide between the two...

I don't want to spoil it by telling what it was but for those who already watched it should know what I'm talking about

Rewatch - there's a lot better dramas out there with good love story than this, for me, I won't revisit this unless I'm out of dramas to watch

The story was slow at the beginning because it needs to establish the character's direction and growth for the future episodes but after it reached a certain point in the plot (the death of a certain prominent figure), it starts to pick up the pace

The one that actually made me stayed was how they protray loyalty in this drama...some drama shows how people betrayed friends for personal gain but in this drama, it showed the grey area of loyalty to friends of different background and loyalty to the country and its people...the finale scene just before the closure was a thriller

The chemistry between the main characters were flunky and maybe a bit awkward at first but I think it was intentional to show the difference between two different people from technically different countries with different ideology, can help to understand one another by giving in and not succumb to ego

This doesn't last long though, which is good, as the story progress, you can actually see the character growth of the main heroes/heroines. You can see they starting to understand one another and actually shore up each other's weakness and becoming the unstoppable duo...

The side couples had better chemistry and is a breath of fresh air whenever they are on screen...at first, the main couple were kinda awkward to watch so the side couples were kinda what you want to look at but once the main couple had each other's back, you starts to enjoy both of the couple's romance arc

The villain in this is top notch, a definition of villain and not some common thug...His sense of moral is what made him the devil incarnated due to his obsession with being at the top of every living things...

This drama definitely require some patience, maybe after episde 4 or 7, the story actually shoots up in a hyperbolic way...

I'm gonna be objective with this review

STORY: The story is about 2 different cops from different timeline, connected by a single walkie-talkie. Once they finally realized this is happening for real, they decided to stop multiple unresolved serial murder with present evidence/locations of the murder to stop it from ever happening.

in all honesty, this is actually a great concept of a story that you rarely sees in asian drama..The story progress was smooth and develops very well towards the end. They used a lot of flashbacks from what they've already shown you in previous episodes but these flashbacks actually hide tiny details that you tend not to catch on your first watch...So if you're worried that it might bore you with all the flashbacks, don't...it's rather good execution..

ACTING - Superb acting by the man who plays Lee Jae Han, you actually buy it that how anyone of his character would react...Also the female lead officer did superbly as well...

there's multiple times that I actually felt it was real thing that is happening, not an act--like the person is actually experiencing the traumatic events/heartbreaking events for real...

OST - I have them in my music collection and I play them regularly even after almost 2 years...that should tell you how it was

REWATCH VALUE - You don't get bored with the story, the acting, music, the humanity that this drama brought... even if you're not interested in crime drama, you should give this a try

I've watched this drama from start to end 3 times so far, first time alone, second time with my dad which we watched until 4am and third time, with my mum whom always gets emotional in some of the scenes..

The only issue I had was with the ending...I thought it could've done better way..For me, it had barely any closure on the characters...some might argue it warrant a sequel, which I doubt it happening
