Not a heavy story, but enjoyable!

It does not have a too heavy plot. The LGBTQ+ support is top notch and its overall a cute drama. The book from which the series was adapted is pretty shallow in itself, so I have to say that the series did quite well in adapting it. I enjoyed it. There were instances where the script was lacking and the episodes cud've been better paced, but the acting, production, and music was top notch. I wud still give the scripting a 7.5 because they tried their best to do what they cud as an adaption of the book. The theme had a much greater potential that what was shown, but they had to stick to the original novel according to the novel rights contract.
It mostly revolves around lack of communication and self love - something we experience in everyday life. There is no third party "DRAMA" drama or villain fathers. The problems between the characters are of their own making and misunderstanding. The pressure to meet expectations and how one might bend backwards to fit into it is shown very well.

Zee has done an excellent job as Lian and NuNew despite being a newbie has done very well for his first role. The chemistry is amazing and the pairing of ZeeNuNew is very compatible. I would say the acting, soundtrack, and the production was the best part of the series.
I am looking forward to another series of Zee and NuNew and I hope their next series have a more deep and well done scripting as well.
The rewatch value for me is a full because I did rewatch it and I did enjoy it just the same.
