Fell a bit of at the end
Until episode 7 was the story going strong but after, it deflated.
Things that annoyed me throughout:
-Nowhere was the trauma again mentioned after later eps, just *poof* magic.
- The bartender and the cringy high schooler were unnecessary like bro? cmon an 18-year-old and an 30-year-old?
- There were way too many people with "love interests" and none of the side ones had really screen time,
and when they did, it was too short and unnecessary.
- In the last two episodes we suddenly find out the father of one of the main leads beats up his son??? and he lets him cuz he wanted him to accept his boyfriend? bro tf. And his boyfriend only finds out about this cuz his mom told him that?? That was way too fast dismissed as if it was "okay" for him to do that.
- Wish we had gotten some backstory on the other main lead and how his family was back then or is now "sooner".
- No further elaboration about the high schooler and his family and problems throughout
the episodes, if the bartender was like 20, that could have been an
interesting side story. Besides the weird forced kisses, like dafuq.
- Highschooler just disappearing for like 4 episodes? "Could we see what's going on, on his side?" Nope.
And only learning whats really going on in like the 12th episode?
Damn, I thought he was getting beat up between the episodes.
Besides that, it was pretty nice. The acting, chemistry,
funny moments, affection, and sweet moments were very good.
Production didn't feel cheap.
Including traumas, phobias, and general mental health in
dramas is rather rare, and it was very well represented.
AND NO other person who's just there to annoy the audience,
and stands between the two because of jealousy or "He's mine blabla" Sick of seeing that. (not counting that senior)
There were more things that slightly annoyed me but, I'll let that slide since it's one of the better bls out there.
Nothing and no one is Perfect. :)
