What's up with Wen Peng?

B. Hsu worked real hard to make audience believe that alien girls are hot, sexy, more desirable than earth girls. Here come Wen Peng, anything but sexy, hot, desirable, feminine, and even clean! She did her best elementary school age girl impersonation. Her hair was always oily, messy, and seems to be balding. Don't get me started on her kissing... reminds of a child kissing a stuff animal or a puppy dog! And the white boots and same white stalkings she wore for 30 episodes even to bed. I think someone forgot to tell her that the alien was not a kid with a crush on the teacher. Same goes for the robot friend of hers. Yaks! Cringe worthy at best. Do Chinese girls love fried chicken so much? Do Chinese men actually turned on by greasy chicken smelling mouth of girls? Yes, it is truly believable that an alien actually comes to earth to touch man boobs, extract male hormones, eat fried chicken and fall in love with a guy who buys her fried chicken on every date. Yaks.

Get Bored & Annoyed - What a Waste?!!

Wow! Ahn first return after cheating scandal & divorce is to fight to marry some dude's ex and become father to his child by getting his whole abnoxious family bully the guy to no end! 50 episodes for this!!!! The extended families are over bearing; the story lines are annoying and unnecessary! The script is badly written and badly delivered! Actors literary stand next to each other, recite what they memorized as if filming occurs during rehearsal while they still have scripts in their hands. The rooms are so staged as if a big wearhouse divided into rooms where scenes occur! Ahn who used to be a model is now fat and his wardrobe is sad, his face is swallen, and the female actress is short and suffering from anorexia rather than being pregnant! The contrast in visuals look like a fat tall male obsessing over a short starved middle age woman! The side stories literary fall to the side and remain unfinished by the end of 50 episodes! The best thing about the drama is the ex-boyfriend and the father of the child. He literary saved 20 episodes. He is handsome, energetic, has great delivery despite the poorly written script. He needs to get more main roles! Anyhow, there are numerous Chinese and Korean dramas that are worth watching. Skip this one and you won't miss much!

Hi cliché?‍♀️

Characters aren't developed well, lacking dimensions. Formula drama; rich handsome boy (minimal love experience) meets poor misunderstood angry and rejected girl. His assistant and her roommate are the side love story, always meeting in a cafe; if you skip half of each episode, you miss nothing. Hi cliché has cliche conversation contents, the long walks, long car drives, the workplace rumors, sexual advances, secret affairs, very public rejections, and exploitations by ugly old male bosses, the after work so-called team building boss bullying dinners and drunks, the hopeful and very persisting moms and their home made side dishes, the fake relationships turning real, posting of pictures/stories on social media to just be a nuisance & ruin careers, the terriblly ill fitting clothes, the mall jewlery and clothes shoppings with boss/boy friend, the boring confession events. Everything is thrown into this drama but the kitchen sink! Each episodes starts with going around the circle of the main characters, half way in the schemers/gossipers/old dudes ruining young couples do their thing, and last 10 minutes it shifts to the secondary couple eating and yapping nonesense with no ryhme and rythm. They could easily skip 10 episodes of useless interactions in cafe/restaurant/parks/village to build a more in depth story. Anyhow, it seems, the story is written by a 14 year old. Characters literary hand feed you their life story by repeating same lines and describe their personalities and life histories rather than acting that allows audience to formulate their own perception of characters. Disappointing Cliche. What a waste of money, time, and air time!
