What about Non?

Interisting bl drama, over all inspiring and life teaching. The plot is great, actors on point, music moving and chemistry 100%. I finished this in 2 days, they don't drag the story adding unecessary drama just to make it last longer and there are no empty episodes, I'd totally rewatch it, thumbs up!

One thing I didn't really appreciate is the fact that in the end they don't really give any info about what happened to Non. I mean, after wreaking havoc and so much screentime, you can't just smack him out of the series 4 episodes before the end and let us know nothing. That kid deserved some ass whooping and a smack in the face from Pete, just saying.

Apart from that, it's one of the best bl dramas of 2019, with some of the best actors and storylines ever. Would totally recommend it!

Came for Xiao Zhan, stayed for Darren Wang and Li Qi

About the storyline, I don't think I've ever watched anything like this. Maybe because I also never really watch historical dramas, but this. This one really did it for me. It's just so original, touching and overall a masterpiece. Nothing was expected or just cliche, no cringe at all and I give the actors a big round of applause for this.
The acting was SUPERB. I honestly came here for Xiao Zhan, but the two main leads' performance, Li Qi ans Darren Wang's, was amazing. I got to know knew actors and I'm looking forward to other future works.

Gosh the relationship between Li Qin and Darren Wang is just mind blowing and so perfect. It actually gave me chills, especially at the end. You'll fall in love with the ml trust me, from the very first episode his smile just did it for me. He is also very handsome. The acting is great and these two just have such great chemistry together, that's maybe one of the relationships everyone dreams about. The trust, love in their eyes, going through pain together and all the sacrifices. I just loved it. My heart feels heavy and light at the same time, I don't even know anymore. If you are hesitating in watching this, just jump on it, you won't be disappointed.

The music is also a great aspect of this drama. It's not too loud, so it doesn't overlap the actors' voices and it also fits the scenes perfectly. I'm sure you'll find the ost really pleasurable and soothing.

There is one thing I didn't like though.
The MAKE-UP: some of you think some of the actors are naturally tan, especially the male actors. But that's not it at all. The make up wasn't really my cup of tea. If you want to make a person tan then please cover up the ears and hands too, at least when there's a scene in which they do appear. It looked as if the face and the ear of the ml belonged to two different persons.

That's all for my review, I hope it helped. Don't hesitate in watching this, you won't be disappointed.

Honestly, it wasn't really my intention to watch this series. I had just came across a character who was only present in the 3rd 'season'. But as soon as i watched the first episode, i fell in love with it and decided to continue it. The first episodes were pretty entertaining and interesting. Obviously, being the first episodes they were a bit still confusing since you stilll had to get all the other characters and what was going on in general.
Overall the plot was well arranged and the chemistry between all the Actors in preceptable. But some characters clearly deserved more screen time/play and we also needed to know more about their background stroy, or at least what they ended up doing in the future. The soundtrack is very nice, with different genres which swetted the situations.
I especially really like it cause it's differeng from any other Drama i've ever watched, it's unpredictable, funny, interesting, round characters and everything is just where it's supposed to be. A nice job.

This drama isn't overrated

So, I've read a lot of comments saying this drama is overrated and complaining about the storyline being too "boring". Now, this mihgt be my opinion but I honestly feel like this is one of the best dramas that has ever existed and if you and if you generally aren't into k-dramas that much, trust me, you'll find yourself hooked on this.

This is very different from usual k-dramas, you don't find a k-drama talking about war, featuring blood or focusing on action as a genre in general.

The plot was amazing, k-dramas usually drag it so much you inevitably get bored at some point and end up skipping some parts of the show if not dropping it all together. Descendants of the Sun maintains a costant pace and not even a second could be considered boring as it's always filled with hooking moments and suspence which makes you wants to keep on watching the show even more.

As I was watching this series I took a moment to analyze the acting and if I told you that I got shocked... These are probably some of the best actors I've ever seen in k-dramas or dramas in general. They usually do too much and it always gets cringy at some point, mainly because of the female lead who just cries way too much or is simply annoying. And I'm not sorry for saying so because in my opinion, most dramas have always got the same damn plot. (Female lead bumps into male lead, love at first sight for the fl, she starts pursuing the ml, she cries at least 3 times in every single episode, at the end they get together and it's so cringe cause it's so unrealistic and they are just overdoing it too much with the acting). You can see that in Dots the chemistry between the fl and ml is pretty strong and you find yourself also hooked on the love story between the side characters. You find yourself in unison with the actors and you can clearly feel every emotion through their expressions.

The music is nothing else but perfect. When romantic scenes appear the music just fits so well, you find yourself smiling at the screen. And some of you might find those romantic scenes a little bit too cheesy but I don't think so. I like the fact that the ml and fl are straightforward with their feelings and the fact that their conversations are always full of inside jokes and humor makes the moment pretty cute and not tooth rotting.

If you are not that much of a fan of romance like me and are easy to cringe, I don't think this drama is going to be a problem for you and you'll find yourself enjoying it and actually feeling sad once it's over. You'll find yourself admiring the directing and longing for more cute convo scenes between the characters. Also, the English in this drama is literally perfect and before you starts judging you should remember that they are not native speakers, so if you feel like they are stretching way too much the words, they are really not. I had no problem understanding them and I really admire them for those English scenes.

I really recommend Dots and I didn't really know about he existence of the ml before, but after Song Joong ki's killer smile and blubby persona in the first episode, you can't really back out from the series anymore.

Together with me: the next chapter is the sequel to Bad Romance, which is the sequel to Together with me.
Together with me: the next chapter brings back some of the characters which didn't appear in Bad Romance.. All these characters come back and resume their 'love lives' which had takena pause with the end of Together with me, lasting during all of Bad Romance. There is also the introduction of new characters and a lot of changes on the previous ones.
The Drama level is pretty high, which makes you want to scream and shout and let it all out, but I assure you not as much as Bad Romance. It brings a lot of emotions with it, negative and positive, but everything clears up towards the ending episodes. The plot is smooth and the acting is very very good. The music also is the maximum of its level, really does accompany every kind of situation. It does not get boring and that's a good trait, it's got funny moments, serious, sad and happy ones, a fine collage. It's defenitely worth a rewatch. Because honestly from Bad Romance to Together: the next chapter, yeah you see all the differences.

Okay, so from what i heard Bad Romance is supposed to be the sequel to Together with me, so thank God i didn't make the mistake of watching Bad Romance first. After watching Together with me, Bad Romance didn't seem as good as Together with me. Bad Romance is supposed to be a sequel which focuses more on the story of the other characters which didn't get to have their 'love story' in the prequel Together with me. The story line itself is pretty smooth when it comes to the love life of the characters which didn't get thier story previously. But when it comes to the characters who were 'main' characters in the prequel, it's just disappointing. It's not that smooth, i'll instead tell you that it's not well organized. Also, the amount of drama/arguing/problems is just way too stressfull. And the personality traits suddenly drastically change from the prequel to the sequel. It's difficult to understand at some point.
