first comment. FL annoying as hell
Unfortunately I agree with everyone regarding that female lead and I hope screenwriters/writers/directors take that in consideration. We are sick of these roles as viewers and readers. It is no longer interesting. The sister’s role played by Hee Jin is all the craziness we needed to entertain us. This reminds me of Itaewon C and most of all hated Soo-A i have considered dropping because of her many times but I live Park SeoJoon). Anyway This has nothing to do with Hong Su Zu’s acting ; that’s a subject for another day?.Was this review helpful to you?
You will be Happy, then sad to just upset at the end
this is the first drama where i actually research who was the screenwriter because they should be ashamed of that ending. Such a great story and then Bam….. ridiculous rush ending. How do you mess up such a great story; You have amazing actors! You want to be happy because it is an happy ending but no……just no. I understand there was an age gap but 5 years? ????. How many people was in that directing team?Did they read the plot? Juno getting sick and going for treatment in the US could be believable; He was a bit scrawny and had some nosebleeds but cancer? It is still ok, just needed more time to work out but the rest is just a no.Was this review helpful to you?
Pretty good drama-free reality TV show
Everyone deserves a Dai in their lIfe; he was so understanding, so patient and committed. I love how truthful Shun was whenever he decided to express himself; he might not do it right away but he does not take long either.i also like the differences of the two couples. Alan and Kazuto( more like Kazuto) wanted to take time in getting to know each other; they were less touchy( more like Kazuto again).
Everyone is so foccused on Shun and did not realize that Kazuto was doing more or less to Alan.
Alan and Dai are definitely head over heels over their reapective partners, and very patient and understanding.
i definitely shed a tear or two for Gensei and Taeheon. Ryota should have left right after Gensei. He was clearly rejected by Kazuto then. not sure why and how he remained hopeful.
I have only watched His Man season 2 but if you asked The Boyfriend was pretty good. i. Lastly, i really likes how the hosts were watching it as we were as well.

cute story
it was such a cuteand heartwarming story. Although i was expecting the happy ending, i feel that the actual ending was a bit of a letdown even though they got together. I wish they talked about mom’s voiced expectation but the last scene hints that she knew that he was happy?. Not sure if I wanted more episodes because 8 was more than enough: if it had more episodes, i would have dropped it. I couldn’t understand why they dragged Ryoshu’s confession for so long especially after Tanaka had already confessed and his reasonning was crazy.Was this review helpful to you?
what a surprise?
I did not like Zee character from episode 1 until the end. How nonchalant was he when he told Sprite that First saw him hugging Salmon and First was nagging. Nagging?!!!?! I did not want to see him after that on my screen. They gave his character no growth whatsoever! I was waiting on the back story to wheel me in to like him and Nothing!!!! He maintained his selfishness and jerk-ness(made that up) until the end!What about Mom? What was that? When did she get in The Great parents club? A dinner with the family. Glad she was able to bring literally herself as father states that he bought the food! Oh that dinner, i bet that little bit of sanity left that it was Sprite’s idea. Zee is definitely too selfish to come up with that.
Sprite and First were the only reason i watched. Wish they had more time. That forgiveness and let’s be boyfriends was way too quick. Oh well, they ended up together.
Would i recommend? Yes❤

go with no expectations
even with terrible subtibles, i thought it had a lot of potential so i kept watching but of course as a typical thai BL, they rushed the ending making it ridiculous and lacklustered. I was ok with the storyline and the main actors did ok but some of the supporting need to work more on their skills. I watched more BL than GL so i am not sure if I am an unbiased critic; i thought the GL couple fell flat and a bit forced. Do I recommend it? yes but i wouldn’t rewatch even they add better subtitles.Was this review helpful to you?
