Loved this drama!

The story was interesting enough for me to constantly click on the next episode without hesitation. I found it on Netflix and thought I'd try out the first episode but couldn't stop watching after that. The fighting scenes were the best I've ever seen. I will write about three different things in separate paragraphs. First, costumes, relationships between characters, and character development.

I'm really attracted to dramas that incorporate interesting outfits whether that would be that they're color-coordinated or have an intricate design. I'm confident that I could just watch a drama based on the costumes and nothing else. I'm not saying that's all there is to this drama because that would be a lie.

I really liked how the relationships between the characters have evolved. His relationships with his team gradually changed the more they got to know each other. All the members had their own share of hardships. Upon first meeting, they were distant but the more things they learned about each other the closer they became. The only person that the ML knew prior to him joining Rugal was a female colleague from his previous job as a police officer. He thought she had passed away when tracking down a criminal 'gang' but she was actually rescued by the same person that rescued him.

The character development is very apparent throughout the drama. The ML went through several personality changes. First, he's just a cheerful, and kind person with a strong sense of justice. Then, due to an unfortunate event, he becomes determined to find whoever framed him and punish them for what they put him through. When he finds out that everything he knew was a lie, he started to lose himself to anger and became something like a 'killing machine' but he tried to fight against that feeling as to not lose his sense of self. Towards the end when everything was accomplished he regained the same personality as the beginning of the drama but physically and mentally stronger. His colleague also had her own character development. At first, she is seen as a newbie police officer, fighting crime but through the rest of the drama, she is seen as a strong, independent character that doesn't like to show her weakness.

All the characters have overcome their fears at the end of the drama and formed a close bond but went their separate ways to contribute to society and accomplish their own role in life. I liked this drama but I have a feeling it's not over yet...I want a second season :'(

You either like this drama or get bored in the middle. I loved the story so much I can't even begin to explain how perfect it is for me; this is my first Chinese drama and to be completely honest I found it interesting from the beginning to the end! Every episode held a new mystery and it was just simply amazing to see the love between the main characters develop. I did not find any of the characters annoying and the action was out of this world. I may be exaggerating but this drama had a great impact on me. The story/plot was the best I have ever seen so far, acting was really good, the music set the mood but to me it felt more like a background melody than a song but I liked it bearing in mind it is my first Chinese drama. I don't know about re-watching this, it's very time consuming but if I ever have time I would like to remind myself of this great story. Overall it's a 9 but I could easily turn it to 10. You must absolutely watch this, it teaches you life lessons and gave me the thought that what goes around might not always come back around.

This drama made me laugh so much!! XD It's was really cute and funny, I just couldn't stop watching :D Correct me if I'm wrong but I think I heard only one song/soundtrack in this drama, which I found strange but I didn't mind it cause it was placed in the perfect scenes (if you know what I mean). This isn't really a serious drama but it had its moments, not to mention how satisfied I was with who she ends up with

Frustrating but good

The story was good. What I couldn't stand in this drama was the unecessary misunderstandings, the never learning from mistakes, the lack of communication on all levels possible, the blaming EVERYTHING on one person based on stereotypes and never doing any form of investigation to make sure you're punishing the correct person even though this is the heavenly realm which should believe in "innocent until proven guilty".

There were several points in the drama where I thought this will all go to shit and I'll just cry in the corner because of the sheer stupidy of the FL but sometimes she manages to redeem herself without me noticing and by the time I notice I go back to saying the same thing because she doesn't really learn untill the last 5 eps. I do like her character she doesn't let people trample on her and doesn't like conflict. (Biased cuz I like the actress)

The ML has the best character development in the entire world.

Conclusion: Well written very frustrating story with a bittersweet ending but from my perspective it was a happy ending. To each their own.

SPOILER AHEAD------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All the characters I loved perished, new characters were introduced at around ep 30 onwards I was confused af and dissapointed. The one character I held most hatred towards, died TWICE and brought me so much happiness has returned but this time I no longer hated her which lead to more confusion.

Ok, this Chinese drama was sooo cute!! You should totally watch this even though I had no idea what was going on in the first episode everything became clearer later on. I kept thinking why am I watching this strange drama but it's really, really addictive seriously I couldn't stop watching no matter how hard I tried. The story is a bit unexpected but it was actually really good, every episode ends with a cliffhanger making you want to see what happens next and it always ends at the most important parts. Something I didn't like about this drama is the opening cause it shows so many spoilers I wished it wasn't there, some of you wouldn't mind that but those who do, I suggest you skip the opening (the ending song as well). If you have free time you should watch it! no regrets :D
