I must admit that I may not be part of the target audience for this drama, but I'll explain why I gave "Love Alarm" this rating.

I freaking love Kim So Hyun (Jojo), so a new drama staring her as the main role again = I was super hyped. The only reason the "Acting/Cast section of the rating is not a 10 is because I really did not like the main Guy ( Song Kang ).
I dont know for real, how he approached Kim Jojo was really creepy in my opinion and not romantic what so ever.
The moral values are very superficial. The app can detect how in love people are, but every time they explain why the alarm rings, the reason is always the same, It's either "she/he is so pretty" or "idk man I cant control it whatever bruh it wont change"
The first episode is a bit silly, and it's okay but the only thing that motivated me to watch episode 2 is my completionnist instinct. The concept could've been even more interesting. I had hopes when the main couple broke up and Hye young was like "I want to try to do things the old fashion way" when him an Jojo were talking at the Library.
Sike ! One episode later he downloads the app again and they all depend on it . ( even if the momment when he turns arround her on his bike to ring the alarm over and over again was cute, I admit.)

The music is okay, not wow, but if you wacth 8 episodes of a drama and dont know the songs by hearth at the end, for me, it's a good thing.

But the main reason I did not like it that much is because it was presented as a "love triangle story", but it was really disapointing. Jojo and Hwang Sun Oh love each other pretty much for the whole time (except for the shield incident at the end) and Lee Hye Young, as much as I like him, did not have a big impact. Nothing happens in this "triangle" except for the end when they hang out as friends. So if you like dramas where the main couple live happily then break up out of the blue for plot purpose, good news.

To end on a good note it's still cool seing Kim So Hyun acting and here are some personnal suggestions, enjoy :

- A nice "love triangle" drama: Dream High
- A nice "cute couple" drama: Fight for my way

First of all, I think one of the most important thing for a drama is the pacing. How many times have you watched a drama and it's only when you finish the 3rd or 4th episode that it's starting to get good ? In Goblin in episode 1 you are introduced to all main characters without an "in your face" introduction. The world building is enough for understanding the story, but keeps just enough mystery and details to catch the attention. The music is amazing and, from I remember, well timed between scenes. In some dramas you feel like by episode 2 you heard them all already, in this one it takes more and the ambience is fitting (plus I think they are very good, even though it's not really my type). The casting is phenomenal and every character have a story that is relevent and interesting. The second roles are not just a distraction from the main cast's story. I could talk about Goblin all day, but finally, The plot and ending, you dont see it comming and it's more and more rare these days I think, that's all I'm gonna say.
I'm a grown man in my twenties and I cried many times and that's what I want from dramas, to reach my emotions. whether it was from sadness, hapinnes or both is for you to find out.

The Queen Suzy Bae back in action in an epic story that got pushed back a lot of times. First planned to start in may 2019, it was pushed to august, then premiered september 20. Releasing later to have the time to finish is normal and I'm all for it. But if somebody is reading this and haven't watch Vagabond yet, I'm sorry to tell you that the drama has no ending... Like Arthdal Chronicles, The story and the cast are top notch and if you dont mind "open endings" (that are just open to criticism in my opinion) then go for it watch it. Nice characters, a love story slowly developing and not pushed down our throats, Showcasing of Morocco (even if they sometime jumpcut from city to city randomly) and many more aspects that I looked forward every time I watched an episode.

A good drama from begining to end, but it does not end so... it pissed me off
