There is a lot I want to say but any review won't do justice to this drama.
It touched my heart in certain ways... might be cause I can relate to some little things in the story.
Do not let "cliches" confuse you.Overall, this drama is just...so heart-warming and meaningful.^^
Seo In Guk pulled it off really cool. Then again, has there been something he couldn't pull off ? -.^
Have no worries about the female lead, they do match! It's so touching to watch them together. And Yoon Sang Hyun, this ajushi never fails :)
It has a lot of bgm so it may disturb some.Since I'm a musicophilic, it was just fine for me.
If I had to choose just one word to describe this drama, it would be. "YEPPUDA"

Now I don't watch dramas this long but back then whenever it was on tv I sat down and watched it all ... which makes 5 or 6 re-watch.(My personal record.^^)
Naturally, Jang Ge um and Jung oh min is my very first ship.As I was watching it I used to pray that they'd be together in the end.
I sympathized so much with jang geum.A girl beautiful at heart and appearance, hardworking, friendly, tenacious, and very kind. She makes a lot of delicious-looking food as well so that's also a reason to watch her.Kitchen scenes and competitions were amazing.^^ I like the attachment as mom and daughter between her and Lady Han.
Though sometimes it was unbearable to watch, palace life really attracted me...and Jeju island and its' nature as well..It made me want to visit those places and I still do.
Jang geum's life has its' ups and downs but it is never boring and the story was wrapped up nicely in the end.
:)

That scene is taken from this movie and I finally watched it last night.
First thing is I really wanted to study at a high school like this one where you can have piano battles with friends instead of bickering idly. -_-
That being said, I liked all the piano scenes especially the battle scene and the"Secret".
The film is a bit paranormal, there is a good twist which I wasn't expecting to happen so it did surprise me near the final.Other than music, it tells us a few things about friendship, being the "odd" one among the people, not being able to fit in...
The final scene left me a bit up in the air. I can't say I didn't like it but then I can't say I did either.
I just think they may have thought something better for the final scene.
Still, it may worth watching once if you like music.

What is love anyway?Seriously what is this? The definition and application of love is distorted in this drama. -.-
So without any spoilers, let me tell you what is actually the matter with this drama..
- A bunch of guys who keeps on making bad decisions after bad decisions and continuing their mistakes
- A suffering poor girl
-Teardrops everywhere...
Do not get me wrong.even though I really don't like it, I know how to appreciate a tragedy. The problem with this one is the male lead's actions are way too meaningless. The whole thing sometimes screamed like "sorry, but the screenwriters want it this way!" No logic, just a forced character who enjoys torturing himself.
Yes, the story may be well thought in the beginning but then later on I questioned what's the point of it or is there a point after all.

Anyways, I really liked the story. You know, law and order, the boy trying to keep a childhood promise, and the girl becoming lawyer...It is sweet and touching.
No need to mention that all three leads' acting-chemistry was really good. Yoon sang- hyun, I love you! ^^
and Lee Jong Suk, he just cries so good that when I see him crying my eyes become watery, too. -.-
THe only problem is in the second half of the drama, the story kind of loses its' spark and we have long, unnecessary episodes..I think the writers wanted to show us Soo-ha's growing up and I admit that it was necessary for the plot.
But, that murder case and love interests between these three took slightly different twists than I expected so, honestly I had to skip some parts.
I have to give it to them though, I did like the final.....^^
One last thing is....there is one specific OST which I listen to at certain times...It is so emotional that I would love/want to meet the composer so much...That music fits the story so well...*.* Maybe that's why I keep remembering this drama.
P.S. The poster is very beautiful and meaningful, right?

The most meaningful mini-drama I have ever watched.
"You don't need to be beautiful to be loved.
When you love someoe, s/he looks beautiful to you."
You shouldn't miss it, pretty please

Crime, Suspense, Love, Chill OSTs... All in one Place !
I started this drama because the story seemed interesting and finished it in a couple of days which is a miracle for me. The most important thing is there were almost no "plot conveniences". It was gripping till the last episode. Even if you can guess the murderer, you'll wonder about the main leads' choices and where it will take them. Main leads' chemistry didn't strike me as amazing at first. The more I got to know about Do Hyun Su the more I could understand how Cha Ji Won come to love him. It mainly revolves around them so, don't expect much from side characters. What more I would have loved to see? Baek He Song - Do Min Seok relationship of course. But I gues it would have too much flashbacks then so that's ok.I loved, loved, loved the ending. Writer made an amazing point by letting Cha Ji won respect Hyun Su's decision. Well written, well played and definitely very touching.
And...Isn't that OST great?

It'like nothing else..
I loved the story. Towards the end the plot is a little bit rushed yet given that its tempo fastened after episode 8 I can understand it.*Truth and justice only by law*
That pretty much sumps up the whole show. There is no easy character. All the back stories were carefully thought about.
Watching their conflicts kept me on edge, and I have to give it to them I couldn't really guess the murderer of Seo Byeong-Ju case. Not even one moment is boring if you could get through the first episodes. Cause...I don't know it wasn't easy to connect to ML Yang Jong-hoo. The first time I watched the drama I gave it up after episode 2. He looked like your stereotypical know-it-all professor but after wacthing the whole show I can say that he stands on no man's land. Not even on law if it is not perfect.
Fyi, if you wonder about any romance there is almost none. Almost, because there were enough hints about Han Jun-hui's crush on Kang Seol-A. What is more important than that is the friendship though. Dynamics of the study group is colored pink for the sake of the show but that's the beauty of the drama. It's dreamy to watch.

You reap what you sow and what you give comes back to you... This is the sweet story of DaDa and her grumpy man.
It is fast paced and the plot is on point. Usually the problem with this kind of sweet drama is they drag it out as much as they could, (hello, My Secret Romance) but this is just the opposite. In the beginning the male lead seemed off and also - im sorry Ha Suk Jin- old for his role but later it turned out really good.
We get a last minute second OTP which makes the show just perfect ^^
If you think what you need is one more happy ending then definitely watch it. :)

İt’s complicated
I have mixed feelings about this dramaStory is too dense it will make you think a lot
Oh, but that ending though…
Really? Dont get this the wrong way but the moment he lost her he barely shed a tear. And after he learnt her illness he did … what for her? I know this is definitely not a romance drama yet I just wanted to see some emotions from his end. This was supoosed to be important cause from the very beginning the male lead claimed that his aim was to protect his family & be with them. And among all that mess this was the one thing he almost seemed to forget.

"Mutlu bir son mu olmak zorunda? Önemli olan hikayenin kendisidir." Yine de son yirmi dakikada görüyoruz ki yönetmen bir bulusmayla bile olsa mutlu son istiyor. Dikkat edin bu insan? üzen bir film. Ölüm temas? beni bogdu, o yuzden morali pek de iyi olmayanlar izlemesin derim. Filmdeki en guzel an, art?k yaslanm?s olan So-hyun'un 30 y?l onceki genc haline k?z? Soo-a'n?n dogmas? için kars? c?kmas?yd? bence. Yoon-a'y? yasatmak icin k?z?ndan vazgecmemesi.

Uhm...Well, this definitely makes you go soft. The only thing bothered me when it ended was... how come the little boy's eomma could come and go after her death.. But that's still okay, a fantastic element like that will make you cry less. It's all about being a family in the end... I have to compliment So Ji Sob and the little child actor especially. I read that So Ji Sob had his doubts about the role in the beginning since he's not a father in real life. Watching his acting felt really good, I'm glad he chose to act in this. *Crazy, funny, dark, best of revenge !*
It had a lot more humor than I'd expected. The poster looks perfect, a really good choice to my taste but don't let it fool you. What I liked the most ...
* romance it's not all over the place. It could ruin the show but it's nothing like that
* side characters are strong. You'll be surprised in each episode (Jang Han Seo, you'll have a special place in my memory)
* If you are willing to see, there are a few important life lessons. Like unity from strength, choices you made kind of thing etc. Which raises its rewatch value for me
*It is dark and humurous at the same time. One episode you want to rip your hair (or that character's lol) the next you have a huge smile on your face
* OST. IS. SO. COOL.
What could be more...
* a season 2 please!

Yes, it is different from any other prior dramas but it doesn't end here...If you have a thing for the thin line between fiction and reality or a thing for plotting a story, you should just go and watch this.
Telling about it will not do..
I was afraid of the ending and from time to time I got really impatient because of the narration and retros\realizations but then again this is not that important after all.
Both leads looked like they indeed were characters from a manhwa/cartoon and the writer Oh song mun, though he made me furious from time to time he knocked his role, So I give it to the ajusshi who played this role.
Be ready for ups and downs between the 2 worlds..;)
