Original story, Awful execution
The story had amazing potential but the writers squandered it on illogical twists and turns.BL harem? Count me in! That was my first reaction. But after watching more episodes I realized the writers might not have ever watched an actual harem series or anime in their lives. Apart from some very well written and directed scenes in the first few episodes, I'm sorry to say this series didn't deliver on what it set to accomplish. A love story with a bunch of guys seeking the love of one cute guy.
On the acting, props to Force for acting the hell out of some of the most cringe-worthy scenes I've ever watched. He did a great job, also Fluke (Saifah) and Boom were great, hope to see more of them in the future. Book needs to get his act together, literally. He was all over the place in some scenes, his face is very expressive and that can be both an asset and a liability.
The music was okay. Tho the music video for the intro song was pretty good.
My first thoughts were that a BL harem situation was an amazing plot, but at the end the story they had in mind didn't fit quite well with that premise, in my opinion.

There is never any mention of struggle of sexuality which I find totally awesome, specially because it's a South Korean drama. And they treat the relationship between the main couple as they should. Just like any ordinary couple.
The Bad: I was sometimes wondering what was happening is some scenes, because the sequences were too fast. Maybe it's just me or because of the subtitles. Anyhow, it distracted me a little from the story, but I still enjoyed it and watched those scenes again just to make sure I was understanding what was happening. :)

Great start... what happened?
It was great up until episode 7, from 8 onward everything with Itt and Pai just became absurd and overly complicated, with misunderstandings that were avoidable and sooo repetitive (within the show). They repeated the same "fighting/misunderstanding" thing THREE TIMES. And not even in an imaginative way. And then at the end it's like nothing happened... so it becomes even more pointless to have so many misunderstandings and fights if everyone is just gonna act as if they never happenned (they took "forgive and forget" to a whole new level).Honestly the Mr. 950 mistery wasn't necessary for plot or for the story's development. Folk and Pure were the only reason I endure the last three episodes, Pure saved the show from being boring and from having no substance. The story of Itt and Pai was on the right track but by the end, it got lost and fell to the same tropes we've seen over and over again in other BLs.
Overall, I like the beginning of the show, it was building up to something good but, the ending was not satisfying at all. Would not watch again. If I ever do, I'd stop watching at episode 7 and have that be ending of the show, rather than the mess we got.

Lots of potential, average delivery. ?
The story of how a doctor and a bike-taxi driver meet and fall in love despite their backgrounds has lots of potential; in my opinion tho, it missed a lot of notes, but the interwoven stories helped make it watchable and more entertaining.Tawan and Mork's story is very cute and you will love them individually and together, but overall their story is not without faults. I became extremely exasperated at their entire situation a lot of times, clearly seeing what was going to happen in the next episodes. I blame my own knowledge of so many BL tropes. But still the people behind a show should work harder to surprise their audience and be innovative with their storylines. And both actors' acting needs a little work, their more emotional scenes leave a lot to be desire.
The other couples' stories were great to fill time between what was happening with the main couple. Boss/Toy stole my heart little by little and they were very consisting till the very end. I just wish they had more screentime and a little more development.
At first it felt like the story was all over the place but by episode 4 it became clear the story needed a slow beginning, the problem with this is that with only 10 episodes to work with some things did felt kind of forced and rushed.
If you can find somewhere to watch this show with good subtitles and you want something light and fun. Watch it. Although it has some flaws, the story is cute and it has a good ending. <3

It could have been way better.
The story unfolds very poorly. I don't know if it's because of Covid related restrictions or maybe some scenes were left in the cutting floor, but after finishing the last episode, I felt there were about 20 minutes of footage missing, footage that probably had important information and development. The show has two strong leads, three if you include Choo Suk Young, and they give this show everything they got. Props to the actors for doing a great job. At the end tho, it doesn't correct the way the story is developed by the writing department.
I've come to find that music is always a problem in these short Korean BLs. Most often than not, they never get it right. And this time is no exception. One of the songs was good, the other one was just a travesty.
If you have two hours to spare, don't want to follow a story too closely and don't mind not knowing stuff that maybe you are supposed to know, then this series is right for you. In my personal opinion watch it for no other reason than to discover the amazing actors that put a lot of work into this series.
Take care! And keep watching BLs! 🤗

The Good: the story from the start it doesn't necessarily tells you everything that is happening, you gotta stick with the characters as everything unfolds. Zhengxi's best friend is my favorite character of all. She is the definiton of best friend all the way to the end of the movie.
The love story is not really between the two guys, is between all the young people that become one way or another involve in it.
Friendship and loving with no limitations, is the heart of this entry of Mr X and I.
The Bad: right to the point, the ending was totally anti-climatic, but it makes sense in the context of the story.
Music-wise, I was not impressed, there wasn't any specific song that stuck in my head, besides the most important song in the film, but that's the point, that one song shouldn't be the only one that gets attention, specially in a movie that lasts 2 hours.
I'd definetely watch again, if I find it with better quality of video and audio.

Don’t listen to the haters - Cute, forward and super funny.
If you’re looking for a combo of a short series and a quick BL fix, you’re in the right place. This is a story of a boy in love from a distance, who grows bold and unapologetically goes for what his heart wants. My biggest regret is that I read the “TOP” reviews and the comments saying this was trash, which made me put this series on hold, BIG MISTAKE, because I missed on the hype and I could’ve FALLEN IN LOVE WITH THIS SERIES MONTHS AGO! Now my review:The only ISSUE I had with the series is with the actor playing Gun, he is still green but, clearly doing his best, because I could still believe him in all his clingy glory, and the cute moments with Bar always made me squeal like a little girl. LOL
Story-wise... What were you people expecting? This is an interconnected series, this is just the first part, and it pisses me off that people trash the series because supposedly “they didn’t flesh out the characters”, “the actors were garbage”, “the story moved too fast”... THEY HAD FOUR EPISODES TO TELL THE MAIN COUPLE’S STORY AND SET UP THE OTHER CHARACTERS... The focus of this four episodes was just Gun and Bar, plus seeing the people around them, and I believe they did an excellent job telling this part of the story. YES, if you keep watching the other parts of this interconnected series “En of Love” you will see Gun and Bar in the other series but, they are not gonna be the main focus and they had to tell their LOVE STORY here. I believe they did an amazing job and I cannot say anything bad about the story. Feels like the directing in some scenes could have been better and I don’t speak thai so I cannot judge the writing.
The opening is my JAAAAM, I love it. The show did a good job with the music during the different moments in the series.
I will definitely watch again. It’s not perfect, but is short, sweet, funny (I laugh sooo hard in every episode) and I sincerely recommend it. Nobody is paying me to write this review, I came here for the BL and stayed for the BL. Stay safe!

The Badly Written
The story tried to bring the behind the scenes of BL series to the small screen but failed to deliver a truly convincing narrative by resorting to the use of overly childish sound effects and villainizing characters for the sake of creating drama. The main characters are a writer and an actor who fall in love in the middle of shooting the adaptation of said writer's novel. Their relationship is tested by their work; whilst having a way to simplify the issue and work around it, they instead choose to create even more drama, stirring the plot into an unwatchable mess that you could see coming from a mile away.
Now, the series had very strong footing with the choice of actors for the main couple, the chemistry between them was enough to keep me watching the show, just to see them together. But, most moments they have together usually become detrimental, because they take most of the running time of an episode. Time that could have been well spent with other characters that were left one-dimensional and not fleshed out, when they had a lot of potential.
Overall, the series is a good watch for any BL fan, but don't come in thinking that it's
this groundbreaking, extraordinary show some people make it out to be. It has a lot of flaws, that try to be compensated by fanservice and cute moments that largely don't add anything new to the genre and hurt the story at the end.

My heart danced, fluttered and skipped a beat
Call 911 because this drama just proved that Korea can do great BL’s.Story: Episode 1 hooked me but, I completely understand why people don’t quite liked episode 2. It was slow paced, crammed a lot of things into one 10 minute episode and it wasn’t really realistic. Although, since when is any K-drama anything close to be believable? Oh well, people are gonna complaint either way. To summarize, overall, the story played wonderfully over the course of the 8 episodes, even when the catalyst that jumpstarts the series’ shenanigans is nothing but far from reality. Again, since when is any drama supposed to be “realistic”?
Acting/Cast: This series was beautifully casted, I hated who I had to hate and loved who I had to love. The boys are just lovable and the villains, although generic, worked well with the story and the setting.
Music: I don't love the swoosh at the end of the opening credits, it’s like nails on a chalkboard to me. But, the music in general was great and it fitted the ambiance every time.
Rewatch value: 100% will watch again. Periodt.
Overall: After some missteps, Viki is doing amazing work on putting out good stories without sacrificing characters or relying too much on fanservice. “You Make Me Dance” doesn’t have a realistic set-up, it’s a tv show, but if you put that aside and just watch the story unfold it will surely sweep you off your feet. *Including “Color Rush”, I see this as a great step forward for BL’s in Korea.

The story it's not perfect, it does stumbles around at times but, they really compensate that with a lot of heart and good acting by most of the main characters. They all work together to make the story happen and they do an excellent job at it.
The music it's not really the main focus in most scenes, and not even necesary because you get lost in the story. But as in any drama, it does help to make better an already good scene.
Go watch it. And then watch it again. You will love it. ;)

Enemies to lovers, and much more.
OK first of all, let me tell you that this show got some delays in production because of COVID-19 and it kind of derail a little bit the story at the end but, overall it got the job done, so if you are interested in watching this show... watch it it’s really worth it and it’s satisfying to watch until the very end. And I think it’s much needed after this whole Covid thing that we’ve been going through. Now to the review:The story it’s great, but it suffers due to bad execution. I don’t think the problems with the show where actually with the story itself, the problems I found where problems with production because I think they had a really good story laid out but because of the problems I mentioned before due to Covid, I think they weren’t able to trace the story as neatly as they could have. I could see that there were some parts that were cut and some parts were pieced together in like the last four or five episodes, I think in the middle there were some *moments* were left in the cutting board and I think that really hurt the story of secondary characters but, from beginning to end the story actually develops itself, sometimes rather quickly sometimes with a slow pace but, I always wanted to watch what was gonna happen next. And so will you.
OK this is a good one, the actors they were ALL GREAT, even the female actors and I usually don’t like the female actors especially if it’s a BL story I mean I just wanna watch the cute guys fall in love LOL. But these girls (Zol’s actress and Hwa’s actress) were killing it in every scene they were in. They were funny, they were interesting, they were amazing. Now, I had a problem with Zon’s actor, I don’t know why but I did not like him I mean I found him to be kind of all over the place, he made faces reacting to some things that I don’t think were right for the moments that were happening. I think Saint (Tutor’s actor, I love hiiiiim soo much) has been working on his acting a lot since his previous BL, Love by Chance, but I think that he is still trying to figure out how to cry properly in different characters, every time he was crying (maybe it was just my view of it) but I sense he was holding back a little and like trying to figure out what to do with his face a lot, but it didn’t happen all the time.
Favorites: Tutor, Fighter, Japan, Tanthai, Soda and Zen (he deserved more screentime (â•Ą_â•Ą) )
I really like the opening, I don’t usually like them but I actually really like this one. I don’t know why they changed it towards the middle of the show, I was like “I’m just getting used to this opening and you’re going to change it on me all of a sudden”, I don’t get that, and the rest of the music I didn’t really care for it.
I will definitely watch again in a couple months, when it’s not so fresh in my memory.
