There's a reason why the story of the coyote and the jackal is revealed in the start of this episode. I think it could be foreshadowing the end of the drama. For instance, if we take that story figuratively, then the coyote = Jae Hee and the jackal = Ma Ru (which you probably already figured. Anyways?) The fact that the outcome of the jackal biting the coyote?s tail is unknown, basically tells us that the outcome will be one of two things:
[1] The jackal (Ma Ru) will readily fall off the cliff and die with the coyote (Jae Hee), which ultimately means that Ma Ru succeeds in his revenge. However, the unfortunate price of revenge would be Ma Ru losing as much as Jae Hee, right?
or
[2] The jackal (Ma Ru) will let go of the coyote?s (Jae Hee) tail. If this happens, that would mean Ma Ru, in some way, forgives Jae Hee, or at least lets her go?gives up on her and gets over how he feels. In a worst case scenario, it could also mean that he flat out fails, but I highly doubt that ;)
With that said, Ma Ru has already admitted he is down with choice #1 by stating in place of the jackal, ?It?s a relief that we can go together. Thanks to you, I won?t be lonely as I go.? Now, I am totally with that too! I say take Jae Hee down! HARD!
On the other hand, when Eun Gi comes into the picture, it?s a little bit harder to say. I think this ending will undoubtedly come down to Eun Gi and whether or not Ma Ru comes to love her. If he does, unfortunately, he will have something to lose by succeeding in taking revenge on Jae Hee. That's something I would hate to see because I want to see Eun Gi and Ma Ru together. At this point, since Ma Ru has yet to see Eun Gi as a woman as opposed to "the woman I can use," I'll rule out Eun Gi being a factor for now, so~ TO REVENGE! FULL SPEED AHEAD!! XD
******
Another thing, way to go Jae Gil! I like how he wasn't going to put up with a girl who lies to him and manipulates him...it'd be nice if Ma Ru will do the same in the future ;)
******
I rate this a 10 because I felt everything in this episode was relevant; nothing was uninteresting or took away from the drama as a whole.
Let's see how episode 6 goes :) I'll refrain from writing as much too lol

Ep 9 is by far the most funny episode since School 2013 premiered, and I think it's all because of Teacher Kang xD Although, the part where Teacher Jung tried to prove that Namsoon and Heungsoo's heads were within her reach was quite hilarious as well.
Seriously though, the bathroom scene with the cigarette bud..I just about died! lol The reason I give Teacher Jung so much credit for this ep is because he is the one that makes Namsoon and Heungsoo carry ALL of the chairs and desks to the roof. hahaha that was very entertaining to see.
That aside, Jungho..smh. Still the same:/ I must give props to Teacher Kang again, he knows how to put Jungho in his place.

The actors were phenomenal, and right off the bat, it's apparent that this drama is no joke. It is very VERY realistic and its tone is just as serious. I am officially hooked!
Plot: 9/10
This is what a 1st ep should be. Already we know the basis of the story--raise students' grades to raise school's rank. In the mean time, turn students into respectable-ready for the world-young adults. This ep was definitely suspenseful..several moments, it just builds and builds and >.< SO worth your time. *Hint..straight up, I wanted to be the sh*t out of Jung Ho! In fact, I still do >:]
Actors/Characters: 10/10
Characters are legit and understandable. From supporting to main, I can't think of anything bad tbh. Ep predominantly focused on 3 characters:
>Nam Soon..my hero~ ;) When others stand by n do nothing, he's there to save the day. Well rounded, very likeable..can't wait to see more! Also, LJS is SO much taller than all the other actors o_O
>Jung Ho (bully) imo is like a stock character. Granted not much is really revealed about him, but it's kind of implied that he is the stereotypical bully--comes from a not so perfect background (imo probably abusive or neglected-type) so he takes advantage of the weak in order to prove superiority..blah blah the usual. Still, that's just my theory and I do think he's an interesting character because it's just not 'for sure' why he is the way he is.
>In Jae, a teacher without confidence but has the greatest sincerity to help her students. There were times (several!) when I wanted to take her place and seriously take charge of the class..discipline some students, etc. Rooting for her to gain confidence and respect from students^^ Very likeable and sympathetic.
...Then there's Choi Daniel's character..you should see for your self :) Also Choi Daniel and Jang Na Ra's reunion was so cute!
