frustrating when 1 conversation would have solved everything.
Thought this might be a cute 2nd chance romance but the fact that one conversation would have resolved the tension and made this a fun workplace romance instead made this a frustrating watch. I think it also made me realise the talent of Kim Se-jeong in being kooky in an engaging manner.I was confused by the cartoon that popped up but wasn't integrated into the drama, I realise this is the cartoon this is spin off of but as I am not familiar with it it, it just jarred.
The beta character didn't seem to like her for any real reason?

Did COVID mean the ending was rushed?
I really wanted to love this after enjoying Fan Zhi Xin in 'My lethal man' and while it starts well then final act completely jumped the shark! The writers just threw everything at it instead of sticking to a more nuanced reason two people would split up. Did they have to rush it because of the COVID? I don't know but the ending does explain the soap opera villian Shen Zhen, who didn't seem to fit with rest of plot until the end. I would have enjoyed know more about the side plot of the missing half of the ancient picture. Was this review helpful to you?
