Slow paced, but in a good way
Let me just start this off by saying I do not entirely enjoy watching thrillers. I tend to find them a bit boring at times with just how slow they can move along and end up dropping them halfway through. When it came to this series on the other hand, it was slow at the beginning but once I got over episode 3, I feel like the episodes flew by.When it comes to the story... just wow was it messed up. I was shocked by just how dark and twisted it was going to be, not something I anticipated when I put it on my to watch list. This is definitely a series that I can say I have never seen anything like it before and I would not say I was unhappy with anything that happened throughout this short series, but the pacing is just so slow during the first half that it felt as if it was dragging along.
Favorite character of the series has to go to Choi Sungjun who is played by Park Heesoon. Seeing the dynamic that he has with Park Sangmin and their issues grow throughout the show to see how it also ends. I especially love how they show Sangmin telling Sungjun to go visit his son and the last scene of the series we see is him going to visit his son. Just touches my heart.

Simply enjoying a series
Very generic romance comedy, not anything groundbreaking. Is it enjoyable though? Yes. I have laughed more at this drama than I have at any other this year paired with my favorite OST as well. Each week I am sitting at the edge of my seat waiting for a new episode to drop and have enjoyed so many moments in the show. There were portions of the show I was unhappy with and questioned why it had to happen the way it did in the series. I do have to say that even though I never felt as if the show was dragging, I do think though that this series could have been shorter as there was a lot of filler content.
Favorite character of the series was Kang Daeul portrayed by Kim Gaeun (with Lee Rowoon in a very close second place). She was a great comedy relief of the series. I loved seeing all the scenes she was in, especially the ones with her daughter.

One of a Kind
I am not a big fan of reincarnation in shows as I find it more miss than hit, but with this show? It was a total hit. I loved seeing glimpses of all the past lives throughout the series and how it makes Jieum the way she is in modern time. It is light and not difficult to understand with some mystery elements that kept watchers wanting to come back to figure out what they were. While the history of the ml and the fl was heartbreaking to learn about, it was a unique, beautiful story that was told in a fantastic way. The second ml and fl I enjoyed all the way to the end and at some points was more interested in watching their story over the main plot. The show started good at episode 1 and kept great until a satisfying ending. The OST in the show was absolutely fantastic, especially Star by Colde and Silence by Sunwoojunga. Whenever a song was playing, it is a fitting mood and suits the atmosphere of what is happening within the series.
Favorite character of the series was Kang Mingi played by Lee Chaemin. I loved the mystery aspect we got with his character, learning more about him, who he is, and the role he played in everything going on. Plus... his acting was phenomenal.

Having a place to return to is an incredible relief
Originally I was not going to watch this series. I had put it on my not interested list and kind of forgot about it. On the day that it began airing, I was talking to my friend and they asked if I was going to watch it. I decided to give episode 1 a try and see how it was going to go and I am so happy that I did. The number of life lessons and eye opening moments I observed, learned, or took to heart throughout this series... I love the message behind the series and just how much it related to me, my situation, and where I am going in life is shocking. "As always, we're going for only as long as our breath allows without being greedy. And whenever we're out of breath, we'll come back to that place."This kdrama is honestly probably one of my most favorite I have seen, but it is not perfect. I loved so much about it and how I don’t feel as if there were any holes in the plot. Whenever I had a question, it would be answered at some point. There isn’t a difficult to understand premise and it is a super easy watch. The only aspect of the show that really made me feel uneasy and upset was the amount of alcohol consumption. I have watched hundreds of kdrama but I do not think I have seen one with this amount of beer or soju. It seemed at some points all they did in their spare time was consume alcohol.
My favorite character of the series is the Jeju Dolphin Center’s very own Gong Jichan, played by Kim Minchul. I loved the side story with him and learning more about Haeyul and Haedal. If there was a series just for these three, I would watch it.

Comedy, action, with a lot of wholesomeness
I have had this series on my to watch list for ages but never got around to watching it. With the season 2 coming around the corner I decided now was better than ever to give it a try and I am so glad that I did. I did not expect it to take me only four days to complete as I am a terrible binge watcher, but as soon as I started, I could not stop. I could not help but fall in love with all of the characters throughout the show, laugh at the jokes, and cried at one point.I loved the evil spirits aspect of the show, I hope season 2 is packed with fighting evil spirits, but I feel as if that was not shown as much due to the underlying police drama/crime show going on alongside everything. Nevertheless, I had a great time watching the show.
Favorite character of the series was Shin Hyukwoo played by Jung Wonchang. He was a character that you hated but also could sympathize with. I genuinely enjoyed seeing his character growth throughout the series.

The cute school drama I have been looking for
Lately I have been wanting to watch a nice, lighthearted school drama and watching "My School President" definitely hit that mark for me. I felt as if the leads had a good dynamic and chemistry and I loved so many other aspects about this series especially the OST. I do not watch many shows from Thailand and from the ones I have seen, this is by far my favorite. It was super wholesome, an easy watch, the product placement in the show was done very nice compared to other series I have seen.I do feel as if this show dragged a little bit with underdeveloped side couples and plot was a little weird/unfinished.
Favorite character of the series was the school president, Tinn, played by Gemini Norawit Titicharoenrak. I loved his character and how genuine he felt to me with his actions. Seeing him made me smile a lot and I am definitely going to miss this series for him alone.

I cannot even begin to explain the amount of emotions I felt throughout this series. It was a rollercoaster from the beginning and I never knew how I would feel each week. It was not very original at all in any sense, super cookie cutter, nothing that I have not seen before. Plus, the series started off strong. Super comical, made me laugh so much… but it dragged on so much after the first 5 or 6 episodes. I think this would have been better at 12 episodes rather than 16 due to the amount of filler added. Also, even though I absolutely dislike sad endings, I was actually a little irritated with the fact that this was a happy ending. The one thing I won’t complain about is that OST. Oh my the OST. One of the best I have ever heard in a series. I constantly am found listening to it when not watching the show.
My favorite character or characters of the series were the Wild Dogs Gang! Or should I call them Perilla Seeds & Scallions? Whenever they had a scene in the series, even though they were very unnecessary as I do not remember them actually helping at any point except for when searching for Gi Kwangchul, I would crack up with laughter. I think out of everything in this series, I will miss them the most.

If you could forget any show just to rewatch it again, what show would it be? This one.
Let me just say this, I did not expect to enjoy this drama as much as I actually did when I read the mdl description. Before starting Lovely Runner, I was in a drama slump. Unable to finish ones I had began because they became too stale midway through or the ones airing just did not sound interesting to me. I have had Lovely Runner on my to watch list because I like both Byeon Wooseok and Kim Hyeyoon's acting and thought that the description seemed interesting so I gave it a try.I am so happy that I watched this series. I do not think there were many dull moments throughout this show as for my episode rankings every single episode got either a 9 or a 10, no episode ever went below a 9 for me. I cried many times throughout this show, not full blown sobs but teary eyed, and my throat clenched up quite a bit as well. The way this show was able to grab at your heart strings and keep you wanting to come back for the next episode was fantastic.
For my typical reviews I do a "favorite character of the series", but it is such a difficult one to choose for this review as I genuinely loved everyone. The way Baek Inhyuk was used as a major comedic relief, seeing him on the screen was always such a treat. I loved the growth we saw of Kim Taesung throughout the series. I will genuinely miss this series and it is definitely one of those "If you could have a show you could ever forget just to rewatch one more time what would it be" show.
