EP 10-12 were painfully slow, they could have been cut and pasted into 1.5 episodes.
13 was ehhhh.... This isn't a masterpiece, the writing is loosely constructed and poorly executed. The story has little depth or substance to hold it together for 13 hours. I can't connect with the female lead's choices (especially in the later half) or her pitiful deer lost in headlights expression...I was hoping it would be a drama somewhat like 1% of Something since the director is the same, but it doesn't even come close in comparison. I Liked Ep. 1-9 but Ep. 10-13.5 are a hard sell.

I feeling I would have enjoyed this a bit more as a marathon.
What I loved....To see a couple not cave into the pressure to separate. They both trusted their own heart and the person they loved.
I loved seeing a female lead stay strong and still loving, even when there were those who betrayed her. She couldn't be bought, controlled or manipulated. I loved that she didn't get all sappy and forget her work ethic or passion for the radio.
I loved seeing a male lead come to life protecting the girl he loves passion, even if it was at the expense of his own reputation...What she offered him was greater...A place where he was seen for himself, a space his heart could truly find safety and rest...He felt loved and peace...to just be.
I loved that he wanted to take care of her and never make her suffer. I loved that he observed her, his actions were always thoughtful toward when he made decisions or bought her gifts.
I could have lived without some of the external characters, the script could have been better organized (this is the authors first work), but as a whole, the drama was a simple sweet healing rom-com, one I'm glad I watched from start to finish. Add it to your watchlist... for one of those long rainy weekends.

I loved the grandfather's relationship with the lead actress, It's so cute how he has her back. The romance is filled with mixture of silly, tender, frustrating, and sweet moments...I found myself laughing on more than one occasion in several episodes. Overall it has some magic in it still worthy of a marathon weekend. It may not be as polished as Kdramas of today but sometimes stepping back in time has value....Go ahead...Add it to your rainy weekend watch list.

Unfortunately, after watching My Only Love Song I can only give it a 5 out 10 rating... There are so many better dramas to invest time in... this is not one I will be watching again.
Since I have not seen this mentioned....Side note for parents: This drama is rated for a Mature-14 audience , which is not surprising since most Kdramas are rated for ages 15 and up in Korea. Unlike most k-dramas I have watched in the past.... F@^k and other colorful words are a repeatedly part of the dialog... If you are watching this when younger children who can "read" and they are in the room with you just be aware.

Overall acting in English felt as natural as plastic compared to the scenes done in Korean. The editing was choppy but I suspect that is because of the time frame allotted for the drama. I could have been "better" if they added extra time to the story development and made it a mini-movie.
