Good start but...
The Beauty Inside starts off strong with its unique concept. However, the show just gets boring when the main couple gets together. The second half isn't great and the last act of the show dragged for me. I also grew tired of the OST because they played the same 5 songs every episode. I think it was also based on how frequently the same songs were used. I feel like the show could be better if they trimmed it down. Overall, I'm surprised by the strong ratings. The show just didn't keep my attention for the whole runtime. Was this review helpful to you?
SO GOOD
I honestly just recently starting watching K-Dramas and decided to watch this because of the concept. Little did I know that this was going to be not just one of my favorite K-Dramas, but one of my favorite shows in general. I loved the way the episodes showcased the various characters in this show. I also believe that this main cast was so likable. I really grew to care for the main cast knowing their struggles and how those struggles connected them. I came into the show thinking it was just going to be comedic, but this was the most emotional I felt watching a show in a while. Was this review helpful to you?

Good, but very serious
It was definitely a good watch, but it's pretty serious (& sometimes depressing). I will say there were some moments where it was challenging for me to watch relating to the ideas based on values & traditions. There were also times were I found the brothers and even the main character pretty annoying, but not detestable. I am glad that it didn't go down the route other shows go down with the ML & the FL. It also wrapped up nicely so that was another plus. While I did enjoy the show overall, I don't think there's much replay value. Also, they do a really good job of making the villains the most unlikeable people. Was this review helpful to you?
