First and foremost I would say that I did watch "Itazura na Kiss" and I didn't like it. Unfortunately, I didn't know that this show was an adaptation because I definitely wouldn't have watched this. This is my opinion so you are not obligated to agree with me.
Xiao Xi- as a high school student being weepy, clingy and immature makes sense but even as adult there is no growth. She cries all the time and doesn't learn from her mistakes. She is a complete submissive. In the end it seemed like she has a little strength but that bubble was busted really quickly when she saw a little bit of tears in his eyes. "Did you forget all of the tears you shed for him on the second leads shoulder?"
Jiang Chen- I do not understand if its bad acting skills or the character is a robot. His expression never changes whether expressing love, anger, despair or happiness. He dominant and manipulative. He thinks very highly of himself and treats everyone -especially the woman he loves- as trash. Basically, I haven't found a single quality that I like about him. In college they were in a relationship but it felt more like only she was in a relationship. At the end when they get back together, he is totally taking advantage. He is the only one benefiting from that relationship and she is the only one comprising in the relationship. He doesn't care about her at all especially not about her happiness. When you love someone their tears hurt you more than it hurts them.
There is almost no character development in any of the main characters. I wouldn't want to promote this culture (the main male leads attitude) for the next generation.

In simple words... Overrated.
To start off the story has major potential.I loved the Sang siblings relationship. Their relationship is what kept me hooked.
I personally think the ML's acting wasn't that great. I couldn't really feel the emotions that he was trying to portray. I felt they had a good opportunity to make his character have depth but they didn't.
The entire story revolves around her being madly in love with the ML, which is understandable considering the title. But I felt there should have been more scenes that show his love.
It's almost like the writers and directors had enough of female chasing male, so out of nowhere the ML falls in love. How did that happen? When did that happen? Why did it happen? None of these questions are answered.
I personally love Rosy Zhao but this was the most annoying character she ever played. She was trying to hard to be childish and it came off as weird and strange to me. It made her more unrelatable. Though the situation the FL is in, I think a lot of us has gone through similar emotions (I personally have been in similar situation). But most of the time the FL was so pathetic about it that I didnt feel sympathy but anger.
Once the ML falls in love with her, he barely chases her and starts teasing her because he figured out he was her crush. He also kept standing her up. Yes, he had legit reasons but he never once explained it to her. The main couple never talk, they never have the real convos.
The most unrealistic part was how none of her friends were angry with him for constantly cancelling on her. Women/girls are not like that. If my friend's boyfriend would do that to her I personally would have gone to him and given him a piece of my mind.
A lot of videos list this show as "girl falls first but guy falls deeper", which I personally feel is totally untrue. Even if the last few episodes she runs to the airport to his city again to tell him how deeply she feels for him by showing him the "folded stars". Throughout the story she is proving her love for him. Yes, I will agree he takes some major steps for their future but I personally feel it's too little too late. By that time I am already convinced that "he is just not into her".

First and foremost DO NOT WATCH THIS SHOW if you don't like revenge lakorns.Honestly I LOVE the lead actors, and that is the main reason I chose to watch this. It has such high ratings and has been recommended highly. I guess one the problem about my opinion is that I had high expectations. Anyways here is what I think:
The cafe romance was cute. His best-friend and her best-friend and a sweet and nice love story. Their acting, though, was a lot shoddier than you would expect from lakorns.
I understand and sympathize (sort of) with Chaya's intentions. She just wanted love, her methods were wrong, but desperate people do stupid things. Her feelings and struggles with her own humanity was portrayed quite well.
Kriss, Man oh man. This guy is a confusing character, seriously. he goes crazy with jealousy and the fact that there is no justice around him but his change of character was a joke in the end. He shot his best friend and was going to kill others and in a split second everything changed. I was literally getting goosebumps because the resolution was so cringe-y.
Kiew, I dont know what to say about her. She was a strong character mostly, but I guess love makes you weak. The kind of pain Peat was inflicting on her, no woman should bear it. This is 2019 for Gods sake. Does a woman really need to bear all of that and then stay with the guy? And what the hell is up with her father. I dont understand why any father would encourage his daughter to stay with a man like Peat. If someone treated my daughter like that I would have put him in jail or at-least sued him for emotional torture.
Peat, wow! At first I understood his anger and emotions, but after their marriage it didnt make any sense. I understand he wanted to punish his father but what was Kiew's fault in all this. DIdnt he think about that even once when he was away for 4 years or so. The way he treated her it never felt like he truly loved her. He was literally abusing her and thats not okay. He even cheated on her. He used Chaya to such a degree that any woman would go crazy. I dont get why in his thirst for revenge he destroyed Chaya and her life in such a manner. She was sort of an innocent outsider. He literally treats the women in his life as trash. A man like that who hurts his friends and "so called love of his life" in such a manner can never make anyone happy. At the end of the show I hated him so much that I wanted Kiew to walk away forever. So, I was VERY DISAPPOINTED when they ended up together.

Its a good show with good suspense. I honestly haven't seen any show of Kimberley where she had bad chemistry with the actor. She is like the queen of romance.I love Boy as well, he is always lovable. I love Boy in every single of his show. He is one of my favorite Thai male lead actor. The combination of these two was excellent.
The show had good suspense as well. I like how there was equal focus on the suspense and romance. I was seriously confused who was trying to kill her. Over all I can say that I really liked this show and would suggest

Meh...
I personally didn't like this. It was not bearable. The story has potential but it wasn't portrayed and carried out well. I really like Mik but I didn't love him in this. There were many points of the drama when I supported Chen Ming more than Daniel. The female lead's character, Fah was kinda pathetic in my opinion.I wouldn't recommend to watch this show unless you love gangster genre and the actors. I was totally rooting for Chen Ming. Daniel might value her life but not her heart. Any sane woman would choose to run away from him. He can only cause pain, willingly and unwillingly. You cant blame him for the situations that is out of his control but on many occasions he chooses to hurt her. I mean he even sexually harasses her in one scene. At the end he should be begging and grovelling for her forgiveness but that doesn't happen either.

Bad Casting for female lead….
Honestly speaking I really loved the story. The main leads were interesting and I was rooting for them the entire time. The female lead was a strong and nice character and the male lead was dreamy. The supporting characters were pretty good and I was actually quite interested in their story lines.
But everything at each every scene was ruined by the actresses lack of acting skills. When she was happy because they won something, when she is crying because she was physically or emotionally hurt, or when she was worried or scared, not a single one of those moment did I feel what they tried to portray through the storyline. Sadly because of the acting skills, specifically the actress, was extremely lacking I didn't enjoy it much.
I love Xu Kai, he is amazing but at every scene that they were together as a couple I felt he is portraying some emotion while she shows nothing which really pulls me out of the story.
P.S. Sorry if I offended anyone. This is just my personal experience and opinion.

WTF was I thinking ?! My brain cells were dying while watching this bullshit!
Honestly speaking, this is crap!Absolutely extremely over-rated! This has such good rating and was recommended by so many youtubers and reviewers!
First and foremost, Cha Eun Woo cannot act. Its like he attends the "Lee Min Ho school of acting". No matter how pretty his costar is he kisses like a dead fish. I cant believe he has the leading role in so many shows. His character was the typical teen J-drama male lead. He was just like her bullies. He found out her secret so began bullying her and blackmailing her. He was that typical asshole who uses the girl he likes as a slave and it makes no sense why she would fall for him. That was sick and toxic to watch him treat her so badly for trying to fit in with people and follow the standard of beauty. He kept being his terrible self even after they began dating. He is controlling, obsessive, possessive and chauvinist. Her identity comes from dating him, f*cking hell was that.
I pitied her so much at first. Even her mother treats her so badly and now this d*ck who has natural beauty is bullying her as well. But later on she became that typical pathetic girl who goes and apologizes to the guy when he was clearly wrong. how dare he say her to quit her job and command her to stop hanging out with her friend. This drama made me feel like I had travelled back in time when would have to ask forgiveness from their husbands for disobeying them.
Seriously, I cant believe this show is by the same makers as Extraordinary You. Now that's a good show. HARU, that's how a male lead of a teen drama should be.
The second female lead was so cool at first but then became that typical bitch. WTF seriously WTF!!! Why are second female lead always a two-dimensional character in teen dramas?!
I thought we had evolved from this kind of toxic masculinity where the guys fight over a girl without asking her what she wants. I guess this is where the second lead redeems himself because when both guys are fighting on the field the main guy says the second lead to give but second lead says her opinion is what matters. Despite being the school bad boy the second lead never bullies her or blackmails her. Although he approached her for the wrong reasons but he still stands up for her, supports her and treats her well. So he is your typical second lead, whose job is to give you second lead syndrome, that's all. This was the worst 2020-2021 show I have seen so far.
I am so disappointed to see this as a successful show as its like a show K-drama from the 2000s or something. Cha Eun Woo's character in "My ID is Gangnam Beauty" is so much better despite his bad acting.
What a waste of time! PLEASE DO NOT WATCH THIS.

Underwhelming
Let me start by saying that I did like it.But i have a few, well complain is a strong word, so lets go with dissatisfaction.
I love Mark, i do. But Why does he always play the mean guy turned nice. Its not just mean, he always plays a guy who is downright cruel a lot of the times. I know he can act different because I watched few other shows especially Kom Faek and I absolutely loved him in that. I loved his character there. That show finally showed his acting talents. But in this I was like “God! Mark is playing the cruel guy AGAIN”!
The thing that doesn’t make sense to me in this show is that.
🚨 SPOILER ALERT 🚨
IN THE ENDING WHEN HE SAYS that he always had feelings for her, makes no sense to me. Why was he always making her feel adequate and playing stupid mind games if his feelings are the same. I know that he doubts her but come on she was basically a slave to him. NOBODY DOES THAT WILLINGLY.
Lets not forget the RAPE. Just cause you’re married to someone it doesn’t mean you can have sex even when they are barely conscious or in this case DRUNK! First the FL talks about raping her husband and then he actually does it. This is not something you can brush over. Marital rape is a huge problem in our society. I am Asian so I personally know a few of these victims. SO FOR GODS SAKE DON’T DISREGARD MARITAL RAPE, ACTUALLY ANY KIND OF RAPE, LIKE THAT.
Overall it was great acting, good story and great chemistry And I LOVE HER MOM IN LAW but still left me a little underwhelmed.

Left me underwhelmed...
I like the Xing Zhao Lin but I didn't like Xiao Ke. I didn't like the second lead at all. His character was pushy and kinda creepy. The story had strength but I didn't like the relationship between the leads. There is chemistry between the actors but I just think it wasn't as sizzling as it was implied. The actors would fit better as friends or something. The character of Xiao Ke wasn't dreamy at all. The secondary characters were not interesting at all. The sister was a little interesting but she basically vanished from the remaining half of the show. I dont know why but there was something lacking in the show. I never felt like the characters were madly in love especially not from his side. Was this review helpful to you?

Expectations... NOT MET!
First of all I would like to say that I liked the cast especially the main leads. They had good chemistry and their relationship was sweet. They have good acting skills as well, especially the male lead. Now lets get to all the problems.
Honestly speaking I personally think all the blame for the problems in this show goes to the writing. They had a pretty good premise which they ruined -No, sorry, BUTCHERED - time and time again throughout the show.
I feel as though the director didn't do a good job either. There is no consistency in the plotline and characters.
Lets start from the beginning itself the logic is thrown out the window by all characters. Even though most of these characters are considered smart but we almost never see it. First and foremost why doesn't the doctor say her that she wasn't hit by a car considering she has no injury that might reflect this belief of hers. If it is a hit and run then why aren't the police involved? She remembers seeing him but doesn't remember not being hit by a car.
There was a lack of consistency when it came to the second leads feelings. One second he talks about how cute she is and the next second he doesn't seem to even care about the fact that his friend is dating her.
Another flaw in storytelling was that the main female leads feelings for male lead came out of nowhere. Actually the main female leads feelings were all over the place and a total mess. One moment it feels like she is falling for the second lead, although she carries another guys photo in her book. She gets over the Tang Yu guy just because he insulted her college, this is weird considering the fact that she apparently liked him since high school. She accuses her father for not being her biological father and he does nothing about. Shouldn't he be angry or offended that somebody was defaming his wife?
Lets talk about the main male lead now. Throughout the show he throws money around to solve all the problems. Until the 35th episode he is sweet, kind and generous, although she misunderstands him time and time again, but in the 36th episode he loses his memories and apparently his personality as well, which make no sense because the second lead says repeatedly that the male lead is sweet and generous. the male lead is shown as somebody who is smart and logical but he doesn't try to do a DNA test and/or ask his father the truth (I know his mother asked him not to, but it still makes no sense), instead decides to break up with her just because there is tiny bit chance that she might be his sister.
The later half of the show has no specific storyline and is all over the place. One second we are told they might be siblings and their pain is poorly executed and barely shown. Then there is He Mei, whose involvement is for dramatic purposes but also shown very poorly. We are told about maturity and growth in characters but we never really see it.
So for all these I would have to put the blame on SHODDY WRITING JOB.

That ending though…
Little Women is a captivating K-drama that delivers an intriguing plot with strong performances from its cast, but its conclusion leaves much to be desired. The acting, particularly by Kim Go Eun as In Joo and Wi Ha Joon as Choi Do Il, is stellar throughout. Their chemistry is undeniable, and the show builds a fascinating dynamic between them. It’s hard to accept that they didn’t end up together—there was too much unsaid, and their connection felt deeper than the show fully explored. Choi Do Il’s feelings for In Joo seemed clear, and it’s equally difficult to believe she didn’t have feelings for him too.
On the other hand, In Hye, played by Park Ji Hu, wasn’t likable at all. Her character comes off as selfish and dismissive of her sisters’ love, especially when they put themselves in harm’s way to protect her. Even when their lives were in danger, she appeared indifferent, making it hard to sympathize with her choices.
As for Won Sang Ah, her ending felt far too easy. After everything she had orchestrated and the chaos she caused, it seemed like she should have faced harsher consequences. For a character as manipulative and dangerous as her, the resolution didn’t quite satisfy.
Overall, Little Women had the potential to be a fantastic show with its gripping plot and strong performances, but the underwhelming wrap-up and missed opportunities in character development left viewers wanting more.

OVERRATED and DULL!!!
This show has only big names attached to it. The series had sorta good premise but is unable to execute it.FL (Kim Dami) is playing almost the same exact role from Itaewon Class. But in Itaewon Class her character had growth and development. FL is quite toxic. She is a good actor but I didn't care enough for her as a character too root for her.
The main lead Choi Woo Shik, I just realized that he doesn't really have the charisma to play the main lead of a 16-episode show. I personally thought the chemistry was lacking. This is the first time I am watching him as a lead in a TV show and I thought of his performance as lack-luster. (I'm sorry if offended his fans, this is just my personal opinion)
The story had little potential but they fail to make it interesting. None of the second leads catch me interest, they were rather dull. The story does not pick up its pace and fails to include interesting plot twists.
I personally wouldn't recommend anyone to watch this show. Some shows have interesting characters but not great story and some shows have great story but dull characters. This show doesn't have strong storyline or any interesting characters.
My suggestion to the viewers would be "don't waste your time on this". But you are free to judge it for yourself.
