Music + Romance + Comedy + 20% intimacy

Since I am a huge fan of music, I loved the Idea of this series.
I think the Writer and Director did a pretty good job to show how music can make people in love and how music is sometimes the key to approach someone.

There are not a lot of BL series which focus on a subject rather than the relationship between the main couple but this series amazingly immersed music in the story and made a great use out of it.
The progress Tine was making in playing guitar kinda show the progress he is making in liking Sarawat.
The scenes between Tine and Sarawat wasn't cringy at all and I think that's why I liked this series a lot despite some points.
The relationship between them, for a shorter series, developed at a very good pace.

The only thing that kind of was a tad upsetting was the lack of intimate relationship between Tine and Sarawat.
You know, for a thai production where censorship isn't a problem, I kinda expected the crew to remain a tad more faithful to the novel and express the intimacy between the main roles a bit better.

ACTING
Let me tell you, The chemistry was real. despite being rookies, their acting was realistic and they pulled out the tension pretty well.

overall, despite a few weakness, this series was quite worth the watch and I hope I haven't mislead anyone :D

Story of love being told in the best way

This series is one of the best asian romance series out there.
In just 5 episode, they showed the journey of love in the most perfect way! Everything was in its right place; the tension and desire between the two main roles was shown perfectly. the whole crew pulled it off pretty well.
To know what Teh and Oh are feeling at moment, you don't need words to be spoken. Teh's lingering and desire for Oh was shown through actions and expressions. His very depth of feelings could be seen in his eyes and they both deserve a standing ovation for their outstanding performances.

This series's atmosphere reminded me of " Call Me By Your Name", specially the symbols. and those symbols were actually the things that made the it more realistic. like how you can read someone's mind by their body language and expression.
the quality of this production leaves you fascinated and astonished. It doesn't follow a brand-new story and it's about high-school students but the meaning and the whole plot is on another level.
The one thing I liked about this series was that it mainly focused on each individual emotions and feelings rather than anything on the outside world.
how they found love and feeling towards each other and how they came to accept them.

Cinematography
The moments between Oh-aew and Teh were mostly simple but I believe their acting skills, camerawork and editing did magic and made me feel like I was actually feeling the moments and sent shiver down my spine.

As it's shown in my ratings, I think all the acting crew did a very good job, every each one of them.
their worked well with their facial expressions and body and I hope we could see them in more roles and appreciate their performances.

overall, I think after this series, it's pretty hard for me to find any other love series interesting.

Sweet? No . Beautiful? Yes

This movies is on another level. Love between two students being so beautifully and realistically drawn . It showed the definition of unrequited love and I found myself cry at some point because the struggles and problems, the desperation between the two leads were demonstrated so well.

The acting, cinematography, music and edit were all done so well. I like how BL themed movies/series are improving within their overall context and this one here is leading the way.
Taiwan never disappoint

Nice Story + Great cast + no-cringe

The best way to describe this series : perfect pace + great actors with good skills.
I finished the series in a go. The plot wasn't something special but I think the crew pulled it off pretty good. The things i liked about this series was the little jokes here and there and the fact that the actors weren't soft-looking at all ( unlike most of the BL Series).
I also like the quality of the production. The cinematography and editing of this series was remarkable and made wonder why SKorea doesn't make more BL Series when they have these talented actors and producers.

Spoiler Begins here :
The mention of the insecurity TaeJoo revealed was actually a good point to why they were in love.
I mean Gook had a supportive character and it fitted well with TaeJoo who haven't felt taken care of by parents.

Let's not forget about the woman who owned the restaurant. Man, I liked how of shipper she was.

Alltogether, if you are watching for a decent mini series with good acting and least cringe scenes, You've got to watch it

lovely story + great cast + good side story = beautiful mini series

when it comes to korean BLs, there are high expectations and this drama didn't fail us.
The whole opposites attract agenda was beautifully shown in this drama.
KOREAN actors are good seriously and even it's cliche, you'll love the cliche (lol).
The Characterization was beautifully done; in most of the series you'll see that one of the leads in introverted but after they realize their feelings, they suddenly becomes extraverted and everything is just alright.
but in here we saw how JiWoo actually struggled to figure his feelings out and how Seo Joon took the first steps and literally leaded their romance relationship and stood firm to face the consequences.

Moreover, the story of this drama doesn't only revolve around the romance between the boys and actually made me glad that they are talking about a thing that has been a serious problem in korean entertainment and made a good plot out of it.

It's no secret that the OST was fine and lovely

and if you only need a push to watch this drama, here it IS.

Watch it for the side couples !

Well, let me tell you ! if you have watched a few thai bl series, you can easily get disappointed and discouraged by the very first scene. The main couple's storyline, Bohn and Duen, is pretty normal and actually includes a lot of cringe moments(sorry).

But believe me, I watched the whole series (skipped many parts) for the sake of the side couples, Ram and King, Boss and Mek.
The chemistry and plot of these two were much better and i hope i don't offend anyone by saying the first two main actors could do better ! their love story didn't even feel real and I think there were many more ways to develop the relationship between Bohn and Duen, Duen being rather submissive and obeying for no reason while Bohn is that possessive easily-jealous dominant boy who enjoys bossing people around and thinks it's a way to show affection.

FOR THE SIDE COUPLES, it was way better! Ram and King's story was not that remarkable but was actually satisfying and their acting skills made things much more enjoyable. The same goes for Mek and Boss.
I am still wondering that why they have dubbed Mek's voice. Like, he didn't have that much of lines and am sure he could pull it off by practicing it a few times ( he is chinese) and the voice didn't fit his appearance and I am sure that if they would've used his own voice, things could be better.

Overall, DESPITE the main couples being a tad undeveloped and raw, I enjoyed watching RamKing and MekBoss parts.

80% Comedy + a 20% Romance = 100% Fun

The idea was great ! The plot and cast were all so amazing.
the one thing that made me give 10 to casting was Mob's facial expression. He made the whole series 10 x funnier and really liked how he would predict the scenarios.
It was too little to no intimate scenes in this series, but believe me, YOU WON'T REGRET WATCHING IT, specially if you've watched a handful amount of BL series.

despite being a 4-episode series, I felt it's longer. I really like how japanese series can develop the story and characters in such a short amount of time.
overall, make sure to watch it.
I liked it so much

Romance + Drama + Chemistry + Great Casting

OMG ! It's been a while since I have finished this series but I still can't get over it and recommend it to every drama fan I know.
The whole storyline of this drama was so intriguing. Though I started the series for the sake of romance, I watched the other parts about their profession with great interest and I think it was thanks to the talent of the writer and actors.
Despite their relationship being slow-burn, I never thought the pace is slow and it needed to accelerate. it was the best pace and I LOVED how my connection with characters developed through the series.

don't get me started with the OST. I wish I could play the OST for other series I watch lol. They played the right track at the right point at the right volume.

It's way shorter than other C-dramas I've watched so far and that is one of the reasons I liked this series better.

I liked the little characteristics of the characters, it made the whole series much more enjoyable.

if you are seeking a drama with no-school romance with good side storyline, it's the best choice for you.

New Story but a tad rushed !

as expected, taiwanese series has new ideas for the story and the relationships.
This series was not an exception.
unlike most of the bl series, it's not based in Uni or high school but a workplace.

Pros :
very likeable actors with good acting skills. The plot and story was also good; The whole story takes place in a handicraft workplace and I liked how they have cared about the details and the skills which were included in the series. , though some things seemed a tad unclear. I mean sometimes I got this feeling that the writer initiated a idea but didn't know how to lead it.
I guess there was room for improvement.
I also like the Cinematography and color-grading.

Cons :
a bit rushed and confusing.
There was parts in which I found myself confused and thought I have missed an episode. one episode would end on a scene but in the next episode you couldn't say what happened and where that scene went.
I also found some scenes EXAGERRATING ! but those were pretty avoidable

Acting :
Good performances but there was room for improvements. The first character, Shi Lei had a very good performance tho.

Overall, I recommend this series(high).
I liked the story and casting

Your typical Uni-based thai series

for me, in comparison to other GMM25 series , it was actually not what i was expecting.
The plot was not bad but the story-line was easy to predict and no offence, i got a lot of second-hand embarrassments from the main couple. the side couple was much better.
I got pretty excited in the first episode, I thought they are actually gonna put medical parts in the story-line to make it different and use it for developing the relationship between the main characters ( since both of the characters are majoring in medicine) but it was just a single part and the rest of the series went like many other series which are UNI-based series that you've watched. One guy persuading the other and story goes on till the other one accept the guy without any kind of valid reason or connection.
The chatting idea was pretty brilliant but got boring halfway like they could put much more interesting ideas in that section.

The acting
despite being pretty young and rookie, their acting skills was remarkable. specially Sutthaya.

I liked the color-grading of the series, the OST was also enjoyable.
But the advertising was a tad obvious lol. in 2gether, advertising was done much subtle and better.

in overall, if you are looking for a series to just kill time with cliche story-line, i recommend it to you but if you actually want something new, better leave it for later :D

Started great but got boring

from the very beginning, I liked the set, plot and acting. in comparison to other asian family dramas that I've watched, the story and ideas were much more relatable and I liked how they were telling a story of a Patch-work family.
it went well and I liked the humor and emotional scenes.

but I DROPPED it.
when it comes to longer dramas, i'm usually patient but from episode 10 onward, I thought they are actually stretching the episodes and it could be much more enjoyable if it was a 20 episode series.
I skipped too many scenes in sake of keeping up with the series because I thought the back story for each character was interesting and did worth the watch but i got bored since the love story began too soon but went too slow.

if you are looking for a fluff and family-oriented drama and actually do have a considerable amount of time to spare for this series, watch it otherwise I think you better keep it for when you only wanna kill time .

i hope my review doesn't mislead anyone. I just wrote what I felt because when i started watching this series, it was still ongoing and I've heard many positive comments about this series but found it a tad against my taste in series and dramas.
hope I could help

Watched halfway and dropped

When I watched the trailer, this series seemed exciting and when I read the positive feedback, I dived to watch it but ...

I DROPPED IT!
No offence but for me, I couldn't connect to the main couple and the way their relationship started and proceeded was a big question for me ... like how a person can feel that huge amount of feelings towards someone that fast without knowing them for a long time?
I didn't feel any chemistry between them. You know in many series like ITSAY or Cherry magic or even 2gether you could see the tension between the characters but in this series ... I couldn't spot any and even got mix signals from Type and when they kissed for the fist time I wasn't sure if the feelings are mutual or not so this kinda implied that Tharn is forcing his feelings and Type has no choice but accept it.

ACTING
despite the story, Tharn did a good job in acting.

I hope this review doesn't mislead and offend. I just said what I felt and thought and if you find it helpful then lucky me :)
