This show had a perfect story as it is based in real-life events during the revolution as I usually dislike political show but this one is the perfect one. The characters were very well-done as I can't say that I don't love a strong female lead that doesn't need to rely on the male lead. As a Japanese surgeon who switches to the other side, it shows real strength within the character as they develop throughout the show. The male lead also had really good acting as it made me do research on the people in real-life history that this was based on an I learned so many new facts from it.
There wasn't really any memorable music in my opinion but it was still very good and fitted with what was going on the screen.
This show isn't really one to rewatch a lot as I've only watched a few of the certain episodes that I have wanted to when I rewatched.
Overall: 8.5

Just finished watching all in one-night and a fairly enjoyed it. You have to be careful of some things in this series that are triggering but let me give a full review. This is a fairly short but simple review. Story: The story was okay as I did like the Yakuza part but there were a lot of useless parts that shouldn't have been involved. The show was enjoying, but it could have been executed better. There were some f**** up roles (read bottom) in this as you will see why when you read the warning section. Also, I'm really confused as this drama looks like it was filmed in the early 2000s but who knows? It would be lower if the casting wasn't good and if there was no chemistry.
Acting: I loved the cast as they all had chemistry with each other, especially the lead cast. There was plenty of chemistry and I think they got the casting perfect
Music: I didn't really pay attention to the music so I guess it was just okay if it didn't stand out to me.
Rewatch Value: I could see myself rewatching certain clips but not the entire series as I enjoyed it but I don't ever completely rewatch a series.
WARNING: This is information may trigger some people but this is important to read if you are going to watch this.
This series contains RAPE, SEXUAL ASSAULT, and DOMESTIC ABUSE. (Not the main couple)
The casting was good but I was curious if the writers wrote this on crack smh. They had plenty of potential but it is a trend in dramas that there is rape, sexual abuse, assault, etc. and I think there was even gang rape. This stuff completely ruined all of those scenes and I had to skip them. I cannot stand rape as (spoiler) the second male lead literally had an obsession with raping girls. Like wtf. I am 100% sure the writers wrote his character on crack as I loved him in the first few episodes as I thought he was sweet then you know...
I would think about giving this series an 8 or an 8.5 is they changed his character is it's doable with a little obsession but really. Really. Raping all these girls and the domestic abuse seen in this show is horrific. There is not too much as you can just skip the scenes but wow.

The cast was also amazing as everyone had a perfect role and they acted personally as I have never seen any of them in other shows as this was my first time seeing any of the cast and I fell in love.
In this show this has a huge focus on the strength of women and a hint of romance with Danny in the story with a tragic past which lead the main characters together.
I rarely rewatch shows but I rewatched his 1 week after watching it as I loved it so much.
Overall:
-Amazing cinematography
-Women power
-Hint of sweet romance
-Revenge on a douchebag
Rated: 9.5

Acting: The acting was pretty good as they kept me in the show and kept the plot flowing throughout. This was a good cast choice as there are some that could be better, but it is still amazing. Not one character lacked anything.
Music: The music just wasn't memorable to me as it was just ok as I enjoyed it even though there wasn't that much.
Rewatch: I rewatched this show and I would definitely say that many people would rewatch it as I loved the show and rewatching it even more as it is rare for me to rewatch shows but this is my exception.

Cast: I loved Jing Chao (Fu Chao) acting the best as second lead syndrome hits you hard with him in this story. Everyone else was also doing really well in my opinion as it was mostly believable.
Music: I LOVED the OST as this is probably the #2 OSTon my list as I loved the intro and the outro alongside the music that was throughout the episode. When I hear some of the music now, I always remember the drama as certain songs make me feel like crying when I hear them.
Rewatch Value: I enjoyed watching it but rewatching it is a separate story. I honestly don't know why but I just don't feel like rewatching it; I might in a few months, but I'm not rewatching for awhile.

I don't know why, but I fell in love with this show right in the first 5min. I loved the idea of a guy who has always been cold due to an incident and just uses everyone developing into someone with feelings who has the desire to protect what he cares for. The story overall was beautiful as it was slow-paced but not slow enough where you would drop it as it provoked thought and you felt the emotion alongside the characters.
The cast was a good decision as Seo Kang Joon played the role perfectly as the anti-hero in the story as it is always nice to take a break from the nice heroic ML. Jung So Min also did good job alongside him as she played her role well but Seo Kang Joon still overall stood out to me even though the rest of the cast was good.
The music was a nice touch to it as it made you feel in the moment with perfect timing. The music was a positive aspect in the plot as I can't help but cry when I hear the music sometimes.
I rewatched this show twice and every time it was good still filling you with emotion and the story as you never get bored watching this show.
The ending of the show was beautiful in my opinion as I love the type of endings that are associated with these shows and this will always be one of my top shows.
Overall: 9.5/10

I was thinking I was going to enjoy this as I am always up for trying a short web drama but this show had me really disappointed. I was watching through and when I finished the series I as so confused as it felt like I only watched the 1st half of one episode. Some things were really questionable that you don't really see in that many dramas as who would kiss someone after meeting them twice and saying they fell in love? I know the love in first sight but this is a little too much. In this show there was no music other that the intro so I don't really have anything to say about that. The one decent aspect was the idea of the drama as it was creative with the blogger idea which had me originally rate it a 9 on viki but then I dropped my review after finishing the drama. Also the actors weren't that bad as I have seen them in some other shows so they did good on that but it was mainly the script writers fault and not the actors.
I dislike dramas the most that have a lot of unclosed topics and many blanks as it just isn't a complete story which is what I would describe this drama overall. I do not really recommend this but I wouldn't;t say it was a waste of my time as it adds up to about 1hr so I finished it pretty quickly.

The OST in this show is beautiful as I loved the music that would queue whenever there was a sad scene. The music was perfectly times in my opinion as it helped people feel the emotions.
I can't really see myself rewatching it any time soon but maybe in a few months, who knows?

This show is split into 3 sections (chronological): Immortal Realm(immature characters), Mortal Realm, Immoral Realm(matured characters)
The characters really develop as you watch this drama all throughout as they start out as young and immature to logical and mature as the characters go through many conflicts through the story which changes them emotionally.
