Action/Medical/Romance???
Not the best Drama I've seen, but I've not seen too many. I thought it was going to be an action Drama the way it started out. Great knife fight scene at the beginning. Felt like a bait and switch for guy audiences. I enjoyed the humor. And didn't even mind the romance stuff. I rooted the second couple and third couple more than the first.Still, I liked how it broke the wall at the end, and acknowledged its own brand of storytelling. The actors pulled it off, but was looking for more than I got.
I liked it enough for one time, but will probably not do a re-watch on this one.

Last Action Hero
Ok. So this one was ..... it was fun. It was short enough to not get too committed, but interesting enough not to be boring. I've seen these other reviews complaining about the acting and characters and whatnot, but I found I didn't care. I like stories that make fun of themselves, and even if the acting was stiff and awkward at times it didn't matter. The story was a parody, and the last action hero was Claire this time instead of Arnold. So she flits about slightly clueless until near the end. It was still fun to watch and to be honest Seth was what made the show for me. The actor embraced the villainy in such a cheesy but good way.
If you are a fan of escapism fantasies give this a watch. Let's just be thankful Claire wasn't watching Kingdom or All of Us Are Dead or Sweet Home.
I have not watched Season 2 as of this writing, but plan on seeing it soon.

The Dead Ain't Slow
I like a good zombie movie, and this did not disappoint. I was surprised by this because the main character was the guy from Coffee Prince and Goblin. I had seen those before watching this, and was only exposed to his romantical stuff. Wasn't sure about how'd he do in a horror environment. I wasn't disappointed. As far as Zombies go I don't think Rick and his merry band of plucky survivors ftom the Walking Dead is getting on the Train to Busan. These zombies don't play around. The group wouldn't make it out the terminal.
Definitely worth the watch.

Live Action Manga
This was a good adaptation of the Manga. When I started it I didn't know it was sourced from a Manga, but once I was done with first season I looked it up. Of course, then I ruined it for myself by reading the Manga, but still plan to be watching the second season when it comes out in December. This was like Squid Games on Steroids.I'm always pleasantly surprised by how faithful these live action adaptations are to the original source material when it's not done by Hollywood or Amazon.
It's not perfect, but it's definitely closer than what we got with Wheel of Time or Avatar, the Last Airbender.
It's worth the watch, but only in the original language. I tried the dub, and it changes the tone of the series into something of a comedy. But that's just my preference of sub over dub talking.

Emotional Damage!!!!
So we should get better Mother's Day gifts for our mothers. That's why I learned. I like the shows that have more action and less emotions, but this show was really good. I only watched it because the actor on it was on The Glory of which I also thought was amazing.Whoever wrote the show, however, was lifting a concept for a show based on another movie with Harrison Ford called "Regarding Henry". Still they expanded on it so well that it really became its own show.
The show was a little slow, at times, but worth watching.

Good, but Slow
This drama was a beast of one that, again, did the old "Bait and Switch". First off it tops at 30 episodes which, for me, was the longest drama I've watched so far. But I've not yet watched many. I haven't even reached my first thousand hours, but I'm starting to understand the formula used when constructing these stories.I enjoyed it, but the switch for me was the same thing they did with Descendents of the Sun. The first episode opens up with this amazing fight sequence that has you hooked from the start. It sets a tone promising that the whole series is going to be full of these moments. But it was just a bait to get you to watch the show. The rest of the episodes, while still great to watch, don't fulfil that epic fantasy promise that the first 10 minutes of episode one gives you.
Lots of talking and cute moments and romance stuff, but not all the action/fantasy stuff I went into this hoping to see. I like the soul shifting parts, and the world building. I enjoyed how the villain goes down like a boss. No regrets. Just lots of evil laughter.
I would, however, recommend this to those who like romance in a fantasy setting. Me, I was looking for action in a fantasy setting, with a dash of romance. In this I got more than a dash. They dumped the whole bottle of romance sauce all over this show. I don't regret the experience, and so far haven't come across a show I didn't like. So lessons learned.
Until next time.
