Should've been divided into two seasons

This was my first HK drama and I have to say I was very impressed from the start. The focus on DID and other psychological disorders was very interesting, even though I'm not knowledgeable enough to judge whether they did a good job portraying them. I was also really impressed by Vincent Wong's acting portraying the different personalities, couldn't help but love and sympathize with all the personalities even though they were very different lol. I'm totally looking forward to watching him in more dramas. I also enjoyed most of the other performances in this.

I was very invested in the plot in the first half of the season, I looked forward to watching every episode and the drama did a great job grabbing my attention (which is very hard to do actually) but I didn't like the way they moved on to the next storyline without giving sufficient closure to the first and the way they tried to poorly blend the two storylines together. The whole vibe of the drama changed halfway through and I got so uninterested that I paused watching at the last two episodes for a few months. I think it would be much better to make two shorter seasons out of this season and planning out both of the storylines more carefully so that both would feel more complete.

I feel like the romance was probably the least satisfactory subplot in this, it just didn't make any sense the way they resolved the conflict. (i don't think you could even say they resolved it tbh) I think it was a mistake to include romance in this story if they didn't have a reasonable enough idea as to how to make it happen.
