The streetwise, "toughie", porn selling, low achiever Mork opens up gradually to Tee who always exude that old wealth easy comfy, teasy, ponderous look. Feelings blossom. Conversations accompanied by simple chords guitar music and street noise on Memorial bridge with river scenes --- lends it ordinariness. Both kids face challenges from their respective single parent.
None of the usual schemings or dramatic misunderstandings often in other dramas --- this one is just light & easy, albeit lots of plenty near faces close shot conversations, without excessive expressions. And minus all the usual heavy make up. Plus, always in school uniform and shorts --- how much more ordinary can it get? Can't even say they're drop dead good looking although I like Tee & Mork very much for their respective personality.
We can only hope all our intimate relationships never lose this youthfulness as time goes by.
