Every episode flowed like a beautiful river. The drama was a mixture of romance, family, love, culture, and comedy. It's so light hearted yet leaves a strong impact on the viewers. The story follows 3 couples and a single man on a tour in France with their Korean tour guide. As the episodes unfold, we learn more about the individuals, their lives, and relationships. I usually never go for multi-couple dramas because it gets confusing and takes away the focus from a singular storyline but was TRULY amazed at how well-written and smooth this drama was. I feel like I've gone on a tour of France and a tour of these people's lives, all within 12 episodes. There's never a dull moment and within just 12 hours, you'll fall in love with the characters! It's slow but for good reason.

I've never watched a drama so refreshing and yet heartwarming as this one. It has a little bit of everything and defies the norms of Korean drama standards, going above and beyond to give viewers a realistic and yet magical experience. The drama really teaches you to stop judging and see things from alternate perspectives. Whenever you think something is "as is", it's not and theres no other way to explain it apart from you watching this drama.

You won't regret it!

Let's just start out by saying that I normally don't delve into shows that have any kind of existential crisis plot. I normally watch dramas to distance myself from my already hectic life and don't need to watch something heavy.

This show is the exception to that.

I started this show because I saw an article talking about how this new show is a must watch and really takes you by storm. That was a solid statement. Everything from Rainie and Yu Lin's acting to the plot itself is so complex, so amazing that you forget what's happening around you. They bring forward the essential questions and make you think, is there a right or wrong choice in life? Both versions of Rainie's character Ru Wei go through their own journey's and viewers are left with a choice of their own, which decision and life they approve of, one with her sacrificing her career for family or the opposite?

Quite honestly, this show really made me not only think of the choices I've made in life, but also taught me that things don't work out exactly as one plans and thats okay. I binged this show all day on Saturday and when the final episode ended at 4 am, I couldn't stop thinking about how moving this show truly was. It's been a long time since I've seen something that deeply effects me (not just in the typical romantic drama way).

Rewatch? Hell yeah! This show needs more recognition, it's actors and plot are truly amazing and I don't know about the other reviewer's rating but don't let that stop you from watching. You won't regret it!

I've tried watching this show 3 times now on Netflix, each time I'd quit after the first episode, the third try I got to episode 2 and hated it. This morning, I was on Netflix again and after watching Tiffany's other shows last night (Perfect Couple and The Princess Wei Young), I decided to give it another go. But this version on Netflix was different! It only had 4 episodes! I was so confused until I realized that it was a directors cut and was SUPER condensed. I started to watch it and found myself falling in love in the first episode. It skipped all of the boring BS in the begining! Around halfway through episode 2 though, I found myself actually wanting to see what was cut out. So I started at episode 14 of the original cut and LO AND BEHOLD, thats when the real magic begins. I couldn't stop and FELL IN LOVE WITH THE SHOW, THE COUPLE, AND THEIR LOVE.

My reccomendation for those who can't start this show or dropped it? Watch the directors cut till episode 2, the first 20 minutes, then go to the normal cut episode 14. I know the show starts off slow but IT IS WORTH EVERY SECOND!

For anyone who doesn't have Netflix, you can search for the 33 episode of You Are My Sunshine on Dramanice.to, episode 33 (they also have the directors cut as episodes 33, 34, 35, and 36) then switch to episode 14.

Happy watching! :)

I came into this drama with the lowest of expectations. Having been burned by other lame weekend dramas, I wasn't optimistic but the poster looked interesting so I gave it a go. Booooooy did I make the right decision.

This show has it all: family drama, birth secrets galore, business makjang, murder, White Trucks Of Doom™ which may all seem cliche and typical but you know what it also has? A bad-ass, strong, don't-need-no-man female lead who gets whatever she wants done through her intelligence and diligence. Her only flaw? The desire to be loved by her adopted family. While the first few episodes may just seem like her suffering, believe me when I say it gets better.

Like I said, it's a sleeper hit. A lot of people either dropped it too early or they just skipped it all together (hence the comments) but THIS. SHOW. IS. GOLD.

The OST is amazing (please do your ears a favour and listen to You Are by KLANG), Lee Yoo Ri and Song Chang Eui kill it as the leads and the bad guys are so bad, you want to hurl things at the screen. However this show gave me so much adrenaline and the ending was just PERFECTION.

Please don't just take my word for it, watch it yourself and get to at the very least half of it before judging it. A lot of people are missing out and I really hope people see this show for what it really is, an amazing story about a badass woman who finds people who truly love her and discovers her self worth instead of letting her status as an orphan get in the way.

If I had to describe this drama as an animal, I'd say it's a skunk.
At first you think, "Awww, what a cute furry little thing!" and then you realize what it really is, a stinker.
It sits there, invading your MDL Currently Watching list and leaves a big stink.
Skunks like boxes, this drama's plot is as dull as cardboard.
Skunks are black and white, so is this boring ass show.
Skunk odor stays forever and you smell it again and again, this drama has gone on longer.
Do yourself a favour and protect yourself from this horrid drama and watch something more exciting (like paint drying).

In all seriousness though, PLEASE DON'T WATCH THIS.

Perfection.

It's something that can rarely be used to describe a drama. Normally it starts off good but somewhere things go wrong and the show goes down hill.

Not this one. Perfection is the best way to describe Something About 1 Percent.

I have enjoyed EVERY MOMENT of this drama. Its sweet, minimal drama, smart characters, and has relationships that feel more real and intimate than actual relationships that I've been in. Not only is the acting amazing and genuine, the chemistry is off the charts.

Although this was a remake, it blows the old one out of the water and should be considered to be the ONLY VERSION of this show. Jae In is a dream man and DaDa is someone who every woman should aspire to be.

Truly, I'll be sad to put this on my completed list but for sure, there are many rewatches in my future.
