A light drama to binge watch during quarantine

I decided to rewatch The Master's Sun during quarantine as I had such good memories about it. I remember watching it for the first time in 2013, while the episodes were still airing weekly and I was crazy about it. About watching it for the second time, I am not disappointed and still feel that it is a lovely drama to watch with good music, good actors and, overall, a great storyline.

I definitely fell for So Ji Sub and loved his acting (it was also my first time watching a drama of his) ; he can portray a big range of emotions, joy, sadness, jealousy, which was very nice to watch. I loved his character, feeling like watching a little boy in a CEO's body. I had already watched dramas with Gong Hyo Jin, so I had no doubts about her acting skills and she did such a good job performing Tae Gong Shil. Their chemistry is no joke and I loved the whole development of their feelings.

As for the second leads and supporting characters, it was nice that, for once, we did not get the mean and vicious mother in law that would try to meddle with the main couple's relationship. I personnaly loved the character of secretary Kim, always supporting the ML feelings. The plot with Kang Woo and Tae Yi-Ryeong was, for me, not so necessary and did not add so much to the storyline, but they were still nice scenes to watch.

I really enjoyed watching the ghosts' stories and each episode was well rounded and made me cry so much.

I still feel that the whole "shelter/candy" relationship was a bit forced and tiresome as it lasted for such a long time. They could have tried to develop the main couple's relationship without making them use that excuse.
Also, the whole story with Cha Hee Jo, even though it was one of the main elements of the story, was kind of boring, and as I watched it for the second time, I kinda wanted to skip most of it.

Anyway, it was and will remain one of my favs, no matter how many newer dramas come out, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone !
