Worth watchiing!
especially for Ryan Cheng’s acting. He’s fierce and intense (and very handsome). He and the 2nd FL have good chemistry and make the story interesting. The ML and FL didn’t have much chemistry but at least Esther Yu changed her annoying baby girlish voice to a whispering voice.I love that the sister had a completely different personality than female characters in most dramas. She was shamelessly pursuing Jin Fan. I found her character was quite refreshing.
Overall, I recommend this drama. It wasn’t perfect in any way but still worth watching.

Perfect
From the same team that gave us Eternal Love and yes, the story is somewhat similar but I didn’t expect to love the series so much that I’d want to buy it.Chang Chen and Ni Ni had great chemistry. Chang Chen’s intense and passionate personality made him perfect for the God of War’s, and often clueless about women, character. Ni Ni was amazing at being the young, vulnerable yet strong girl. She even made me tear up a couple of times. The rest of the cast were well chosen so overall, the series was interesting and enjoyable to watch.
The original soundtrack also added so much to the series, especially the songs by Aska Yang (opening) and Jane Zhang (ending) that were perfect to set the mood. Both are now part of my favorite playlist.
The kissing scenes were finally real. I’m not sure why kissing scenes, in most drama, are quite pathetic with actors kissing with their lips so tight you’d think they are kissing against their will.
As for the story, yes, it was similar to all others. Fall in love, a couple of jealous and envious villains but in the end, the lovers are reunited.
I hope to be able to buy that series on Amazon, in the meantime, I’ll surely rewatch it a couple of times.

Not a bad series
I loved Eternal Love and was looking forward to watching Eternal Love of Dream. The story wasn’t bad and I liked most of the character except for Feng Jiu. They made her character too immature, selfish and frankly annoying with her constant crying about DongHua not loving her. And once he married her, she leaves him because everything has to be about her. Plus she hides his child from him. I don’t find Dilraba to be a good actress so it likely didn’t help. I didn’t expect to like Yan Chiwu’s character so much. For a similar story, I preferred Love and Destiny over Eternal Love of Dream even though I love Gao Weiguang as an actor.

Refreshing!
Absolutely loved Miss S. A very refreshing series, fun to watch. Plus the chemistry between Gao Wei Guang and Ma Yili was great. And it doesn’t hurt that Miss Su’s clothes were gorgeous. It’s a nice change from all the heavy detective/mystery series normally presented. Watching C-drama is fairly new for me but so far, I’m a fan. I loved Gao Wei Guang in Eternal Love and Eternal Love of Dream and liked just as much in Miss S. Overall, I really enjoyed watching it and I will watch it again. I would really love a couple more seasons. Was this review helpful to you?

Wouldn’t be too bad
if they had chosen a better actress for the FL role, made her character smarter and not dubbed her with such a childish voice. Oh, plus maybe losing the makeup and lipstick when pretending to be a boy.The FL is annoying, immature and dumb plus the actress has absolutely no chemistry with the other characters. I like the ML as well as the Crown Prince and Talented Lady Wu. The rest of supporting actors are all fine.
The story line is interesting enough with the expected villains, misunderstandings back stabbing, poisoning and scheming.
I often wonder if I’m the wrong audience for many of the drama since they often involve an immature. FL.

Would have been better
if they had focused the story on the gu-abetted men and make it a real drama instead of a “romantic” comedy. I find the FL, and a couple more female characters, to be annoyingly immature, mostly acting like she’s 12, giggling, running around. Looks like she quickly forgot she was looking for her mother.ML is fine playing the cold face prince hiding a secret. I thought his shadow guard Xifeng did a better acting job.
The 2nd male lead, Gu Qi Shao was interesting enough, cunning and planning.
I thought the story would be more interesting but it’s already kind of dragging. I’m not sure if I’ll finish watching the whole story.

Can’t stand it
The female lead character is acting like she’s 12 years old and he looks like he’s 15. I prefer the series with more mature actors instead. I can’t even finish the first episode, she’s so annoying. I’m not sure why they like having so many immature characters in their stories. Series like Novoland Pearl Eclipse, Love and Destiny, Lost Love in Times, Eternal Love and Eternal Love of Dream, Miss S are so much more interesting.I really hope to see more series with mature actors. Chang Chen, William Chan, Vengo Gao, Ni Ni, Yang Mi, Liu Shi Shi, Ma Yi Li are amongst my favorite actors/actresses.
