A pleasant watch for Murder mystery lovers.

By chance, we came across this on YouTube. I suppose YouTube got my algorithm after I watched a few of detective dee movies.
We mistakenly watched the last 2 movies of the series before realising that there is an order. Even then, we were not put off at watching the series from 1st to end. It was quite interesting to watch the early episodes knowing the spoilers at the end. Of course I recommend you start with movie 1, and work down to the 10th one.

I thought all the actors did a splendid job for their roles. The main lead, Li Shaobai is incredibly smart. The series focused mainly on the murder mystery, while was also able to properly and created the development of the characters and their relationships..
I think this series are purely for those who enjoy a Chinese version of Agatha Christie’s ‘Poirot’ or ‘Miss Marple’.

A must watch drama

All has been said so I will not repeat much except that this really is a must watch. Drama. You should binge watch it because you won’t be able to stop til the very wtf ending.
Actually I will also add that the Youku, the producer, is very cruel and refuse to release the last 5 minutes of the ending. It ended on a wtf moment and leave everyone screaming. All is very well til the end. Apparently, Youku refused to release the last 5 minutes to other streaming platforms such as Netflix and Viki. If you want to watch a satisfying ending you have to subscribe to Youku International, a bad streaming service that really isn’t worth subscribing to.
