This story is nothing new!

I watched this xianxia drama cause it had like a decent ish..rating..but my what a draaaaag&a waste of time.... this show didn't need more than 30 episodes. The ending was crap and it felt too rushed.

I loved the main leads. Their acting was great the story line however been there done that. I feel like this story has been done before over and over it is getting a little too boring now. I even skipped some episodes cause the show was getting too boring.

Costumes: I loved YuMo and Ying Yuan's clothes. The rest didn't really appeal to me even though i like sparkles and pearls.

I wish there was more depth in the series. 还有the time limit: if the crew producers were given a certain time to finish the show. Why did they have to disrespect ?us the viewers by giving us such crap at the ending. I mean what the hell was that. We got no explanation qnout how the two lead characters ended up despite them vanishing..but they just showed up in the second last episodes. The same vigour they had in starting the series they shouldve done that with the end.

Characters: as usual there was nothing new or groundbreaking in immortal samsara. It is just repeated tropes. There were bad characters&good characters..the only difference was that YuMo was not as obsessed with YD unlike the demon king who loved a woman who was obsessed with someone else. Also lots of spitting blood, some hectic sacrifices and misunderstandings for like 900 years. The tv characters in chinese series need a therapist to help them communicate effectively. Cause misunderstandings seem rife in these series.

The music: 我喜欢about two or three songs ? the rest was meeh!. I also didn't like how they placed the songs in certain scenes. It just wasn't matching. This series just used songs to cover up for the parts they were too lazy to do something about in order to manipulate emotions. As i said before, there were series like Eternal Love (Yang Mi&Mark Chao) which did better with the series ost.

Rewatch value: Naah! maybe certain scenes like Zhaolan's enthronment and Ying Yuan's heavenly return, the rest.. i felt it was a waste of my time as I was waiting for the series to get better. Also i only watched it cause i fing Cheng Yi attractive...other than that..naah.
