Theme in both dramas is INTERCULTURAL DATING,

ML & FL are from different countries.

In WCAL it's South. Korea and Japan,
it's a modern realistic setting.

In FJS it's Thailand and a made up fictional country, set in fictional historical desert setting with different kingdoms.
