***Spoiler Alert*** It wasn't enough to terribly disappoint me, but yes, it was a filler. It was nothing interesting about it other than some betrayal that many of us saw coming with Bin (Jo Hwa Jin). Kim So Yong (Jang Bo) lusted after the 3 Royal Concubines, and the Royal Chef received more screentime. At this point, I'm sad about where the storyline is going. There aren't many places for this storyline to go. I would prefer to see a few people written off before it's over, like Queen Dowager Jo, Scarface, and even the Bin. She's doing an excellent job at annoying me (great acting). That Jo family is worst than the Kim family.
THE STRUGGLE IS REAL! As I struggle to continue watching this train wreck of emotions, I just feel sorry for the kid. I don't like the fictional character, Ae-Jeong anymore. She's lost my attention, AND she has the same surprised, dumbfounded facial expression every episode. I need to post that picture. It's no longer cute because she's annoying. I don't want to stop watching this series cold turkey. If I could change anything about this show, it would be _______________________ .
The lie that keeps on giving begins. In the end, people are hurt but realize they love deeply and stand by their lover's side. After accepting faith they then realize that the lie was really the truth! The writing is so cliche. I hope it keeps my interest.
I find that there is a burst of characters in the first episode. I had to watch the first episode twice to grasp the plot and the characters' interests truly. I wanted to screen through and filter the characters out that were not of great importance. Sometimes the writers want to write a big twist by adding many storylines and characters which take away from the main cast and story. I hope things settle quickly.
