The atmosphere and storyline of both is pretty different, but what is similar is that we see two women bonding over, in one, their love for BL manga and in the other, their passion as fujoshis.
Both of them do not exactly consist of gay/BL romance but feature main characters who are fans of the BL genre.

It's also a high school drama which has been directed by the same director as When I Fly Towards You. Despite being only 16 episodes, its definitely one of the best high school dramas (Lovely Us) that exist. You can't help but cheer on for them and get sad and happy with them.

It's a similar drama with a focus on a group of female friends. In Brilliant Girls, Xiaoyang WAS sister of Ru Xue so a sibling plot was also included but in Love Yourself its just friends of slightly different age groups. Both of them focus on the growth of their characters both in career and romance.

Both the dramas are about youkais but in Yokai Ningen Bem they call themselves as plain monsters but in Youkai sharehouse the "monsters" are from Japanese mythical creatures. Both also involve a human befriending the monsters. Both of them are a good watch but in my opinion, Youkai sharehouse is funnier than Yokai Ningen Bem.

It is similar in the way that in Pegasus Market, a market with bad reputation is eventually turned in a thriving one. The difference lies in the intention of the person leading the changes.
