Ojakgyo Brothers may seem like an impossible task but its worth taking on I promise!

Story- The first couple episodes sets up the plot and storylines for everyone. I’d say it took me about 5 episodes before I saw myself wanting to see more. I do have to say the writers did a fantastic job. When the story was funny it was hilarious and when it was dramatic you felt the emotions. My favorite part of the writing though was definitely the subtle comedy. I found myself laughing like an idiot whenever something random happened. I liked that each brother had their own loveline and enjoyed watching each one develop. Although the UEE/Joo Won pairing was just too cute! In the end everyone gets their happy ending. That’s not to say it was all sunshine and rainbows throughout, cause everyone had their fair share of drama…

Acting/Cast- Perfectly casted. I liked that everyone got their time to shine. This family felt like they were really a family in real life. I wanted to live on the Ojakgyo farm! Lol. I thought UEE did a fantastic job playing the naïve but temporal Ja Eun. Loved all the brothers. The rest of the supporting cast was awesome as well. Just loved everyone=)

Music- Really liked the score. When it was suppose to be light and funny they had this awesome weird music played that really added to the effect and when it would come on I knew something hilarious/random was about to happen. The ost was good but nothing I’d listen to outside the show.

Rewatch- The episode count is quite large so because of that I’d probably put off watching this for about 2 years.

Overall I’d say Ojakgyo Brothers is the best family drama I have seen and it’s a must watch. You will definitely be entertained and fall in love with all the characters=)

Why should you watch a sitcom (never watched one before) that is 123 eps long? That’s what I asked myself as well before I even thought about starting it…

Story- Yes there are an abundance of episodes but each one is not even a half hour long and they feel so short because the writers did a great job of giving each main character a story line of their own, which fills the time nicely. What I liked about the writing is not only are most eps truly funny but some eps deal with serious stuff so you also get to feel for the characters. Really though the writing was phenomenal cause it kept me watching all the eps without getting bored. In fact they could have continued after ep 123 and I would have kept watching cause I felt like they had so much more story to tell. As for the ending, while not bad like High Kick S2, I would of liked different outcomes for some of the characters.

Acting/Characters- Whats funny is that I came into this not knowing most of the actors, and even if I did know them, there’s no way I would want to watch a 123 ep sitcom just for them. However, after watching a couple eps I realized that the casting was perfect. Every actor whether main or supporting, made his or her characters stand out. I was rooting for everyone to find their success. The main featured family really did feel like they were a family as they had good chemistry. The only loveline that managed to turn into something (Ji Suk & Ha Sun) had really good chemistry and their relationship was just so cute/funny. My favorite character though happened to be Sung Yoon (Joon Sook’s best friend) because he was just so odd but really cute/sweet/innocent. And surprisingly a character that I was completely annoyed by in the beginning (Krystal) became one of my favorites by the end (really good character development for her). There were a couple of characters I just did not ever manage to like (Dr. Yoon Gye Sang, Bak Jin Hee, and Ji Won) their personalities were awful and i even had to start fast-forwarding through their scenes).

Music- Each episode had its own OST, that being said there were too many songs to remember but I remember liking a lot of the songs within various eps.

Rewatch- While the drama is entertaining enough to watch the entire series again, my favorite part of the drama is the second half so I’ll probably stick to watching those eps over and over whenever I feel like a good laugh.

Overall if your like me and had never seen a Korean sitcom, do try this one out because it’s a lot of fun and you get attached to the characters.

This drama is funny but also has a lot of \"drama.\" I liked that the Hong sisters matured the characters a couple years and left enough episodes to tell their adult storyline. Doing this allowed for the drama to stay fresh. There were a couple eps here and there that were draggy. The leads were perfect for thier roles and had excellent chemistry. I hated the second male lead!! I wanted to punch him everytime he even spoke. The main guys dad was a riot. I really liked him. The ending was sweet. Id rewatch this drama in 2 years just to look back on the characters. This drama will tug at your heart with all the frusteration it brings. But thats what a true drama does right? Watch it!

I must have been out of my mind when I started this one because I had never attempted or even cared to attempt a drama more than 45 episodes (Smile You) but the fact that I was a fan of Joo Sang Wook (Thorn Birds) & Hwang Jung Eum (Can You Hear My Heart)led me to try out a couple of episodes...

Story: It starts off with the child stories and here is where you see everything (father's death, siblings seperated, meeting of the romantic OTP #1) go down. When the characters grow up, there are multiple time jumps and twist and turns throughout to keep you engaged till the very end. Be prepared to cry a lot and be shocked at how the romantic pairings go (they are twisted). I loved the ending although it was bittersweet. I will say that this definitely could have been done with a shorter ep count because there were many filler scenes.

Acting: Excellent ensemble cast. Everyone from the 2 main couples to the supporting cast was amazing. I got attached to all the characters and it was crazy how everyone who is considered protagonists also showed a bad side to them. The writers did a phenomenal job in writing these characters. Just wanted to mention I wasnt too keen on Lee Bum Soo in the beginning but by the end I had become a fan! The chemistry btwn him and Park Jin Hee was perfect.

Music: The score was so fitting. Powerful when it needed to be and emotional in all the right places.

Rewatch: Although its a large ep count, I loved the acting so much that i would like to try and watch this every year if i have the time cause its so epic.

Overall Giant is a must watch for any die hard drama fan and the perfect introduction to Lee Bum Soo. Dont be turned off by the huge ep count or you will be missing out!

I wasn't very fond of Lee Bo Young but was a big Joo Jin Mo fan and the synopsis sounded like this would make for angst fest...

Story: First, the revenge is way less gritty than it sounds. I thought the female characters revenge would make for a great turning point for the plot but the writers kind of dropped the ball and her "revenge" was more of an emotional one rather than of taking action which kind of gets repetative. I would have also liked it more if they cut it down to 16 eps. There are a lot of things that I would never guess would happen so the plot isnt predictable at least. The best thing about the story is the romance. Lots of angst to eat up and you pray there will be a happy ending in the midst.

Acting/Cast :Lee Bo Young is a hit or miss for me. I havent seen a decent drama with her in which she has chemistry with the male lead. Well of course here comes the attractive/great actor Joo Jin Mo and you got some HOT chemistry! Their relationship was off the charts sizzling. I didnt care for the supporting cast and found the second lead characters annoying/not relevant to the story.

Music: It fit the drama well but not memorable.

Rewatch: If it were a little shorter, i probably could watch it every year due to my love of the couple but i think this is some thing i can wait to watch in a few years.

Overall Queen of the Game is the most romantic drama you will see!

I had an interest in Moon Chae Won's first drama as a lead actress after seeing her opposite characters in My Fair Lady and Shining Inheritance...

Story: The main focus is on this family who face difficult challenges in wake of an unfortunate life altering event. The first episode was so unpredictable and the ending of it will lead you to want to watch the next episode to see what will happen next. There are multiple storylines going on because there is a large cast so you will definitely stay interested and not get bored. My only gripe is that the romance between the main couple is kind of weak and the ending for them was kind of cheesy...

Acting/Cast: The acting doesn't blow me away but somehow I found myself engrossed in all the characters. There were so many characters that at first its hard to keep up with who's who. After I got to know everyone though I found myself rooting for everyone. I even wanted our villain (very creepy/scary) to redeem himself although it never happens.

Music: OST fits the show well. The theme song is cute & very catchy.

Rewatch Value: I liked this show so i'll rewatch it but not right away.

Overall the plot was engaging but the writers lacked focus and felt a little bit all over the place so a little tightening up with the story could of made it even better. Its positives are that its very touching and you learn a lot about close family relationships.

So I never saw the first season (billed actors didn’t attract me enough and I don’t like dramas that are associated with “Sex and the City). However the fact that Lee Jin Wook (I keep tabs on him) was back in first lead role status definitely put the second season on my radar even if I didn’t like the main female lead actress( hated her in Que Sera Sera)…

Story: I loved the idea that the 2 main leads had a history for a really long time before they broke up. I didn’t think it could be romantic watching their journey back to each other but man did I eat all that angst up. I also enjoyed the romances of the main female character’s 2 friends. The plot is really simple though but if you love romance than this is a drama for you! The ending though is a bit unrealistic but i dont care cause im a sucker for happy/cheesy endings=)

Acting/Cast: Like I said I didn’t like Jung Yu Mi in Q.S.S but have seen a movie she was in and I’ll admit she is a pretty good actress. She definitely changed my opinion of her as she made her character in this drama really likable. I wouldn’t mind seeing other things she does in the future. When it comes to our first male lead Lee Jin Wook, I thought he was perfectly casted as he made his sometimes jerky character human and just very likable. I was soo obsessed with them being together because their chemistry felt so intense but I liked that it didn’t seem forced. As for the second male lead Kim Ji Suk, I'm just going to say it now; I didn’t like him! I don’t know if its his acting style or his character(came off really obsessive/too eager) but yeah lets just say I wasn’t rooting for him at all to get the girl. When it comes to the supporting cast, I didn’t know the actresses who played the female lead’s friends but I loved their characters and also the actors that played their loved interests. Everyone had chemistry as far as friendships and romances goes.

Music: I wasn’t expecting to get an OST that I could put on my ipod out of this but I just really enjoyed the songs (gave off an indie vibe).

Rewatch: The drama feels short and since I had a lot of fun watching the first time I wouldn’t mind watching this every year.

Overall I Need Romance 2 is a very easy breezy watch with realistic characters.

When I watched this I was on a Park Shi Hoo craze and of course i like a good romcom...

Story: The first half of the drama masks itself as an ordinary romcom in a law setting. Its enjoyable but not anything ive never seen before. Now after episode 9 hits you will think your starting to watch a whole new drama. The second half is filled with a revenge plot and also a frustrating angsty romance. I liked that it was a romcom but withan actual plot. I loved the ending!!

Acing/Cast: I already knew PSH is a great actor but I was really surprised by Kim So Yeon. Her character in the beginning can come off as an annoying ditsy and materialistic brat but the writers give her a personality makeover and lots of character growth so bear with her. The leads though were perfectly casted cause their chemistry was HOT! I liked the second lead couple but wished their relationship started a bit earlier in the drama because it was kind of unbelievable how they become a couple by the end. Really liked the supporting cast and cared about their characters.

Music: At first I found 2 of the songs annoying as they played them over and over in the beginning but they matched the theme well enough. I liked the rest of the songs they used throughout enough to put on my ipod.

Rewatch: I can see myself watching this every year just to see the leads together on my screen=)

Overall Prosecutor Princess is not what it seems so give it a chance or you'll be missing out on one of the best romcoms of 2010!

Okay so this drama has gotten a lot of heat for the topics that are covered and the outrageous of the show in general...

First, I found the topic of weightloss very interesting. I think they did a good job of covering all aspects such as positives and negatives of weightloss as well as her losing weight both in an unhealthy and healthy way. I know I learned a lot from watching the show. I did think it was annoying that she rebounded many times throughout. I think it was more than 4 times or something. Watching all the cakes being made really made me want to make some as well. They were so pretty and looked like they tasted like heaven. The ending was cute.

The acting was superb especially by the female lead. I thought the character was annoying and outrageously naive at some parts but it just showed what kind of an actress Saki is. Mokomichii was cute as always but his character was over the top as well. Somehow though they both make the perfect couple and complete each other. I liked the supporting characters they really added something.

Overall Rebound is silly but also serious at the same time. I rated it so high because I love the cast and it was very very entertaining.

WARNING: this movie is for mature audiences only!! First off , this movie was hilarious! It is pretty graphic though and it sneaks up on you when your not expecting. The cast was really spectacular. Lee Sun Gyun from Pasta is charming & just charismatic as always. Love him! I have never seen anything with the female lead before this. Her character was naive but funny. The leads had a really great chemistry. If you can get passed the sex theme and see it for a really great comedy romance, then you\''\''ll really enjoy this movie!

Goodbye Solo isn’t your average Kdrama. Its more like an indie movie that lasts 16 episodes. The way its shot makes you feel like your watching a documentary featuring characters that give you a sneak peak into their world.

The story actually isn’t anything new or special and there’s no exciting moments or surprises/twists. You won’t laugh or experience gut wrenching emotions. The romance also isn't anything special. However, one thing that this drama does have is fascinating characters.

There are many main characters so a lot of the scenes are just them interacting. What makes that so fascinating is that all the characters come with a past their not proud of but together they overcome these pasts and loneliness to find their own happiness. To me that’s what the title means is trying to convey. As each episode passes by you want to know more about these characters. What brings these characters to life are the amazing actors portraying them. All 6 main actors did a very believable portrayal. I think the stand out though was Kim Min Hee. Her character kind of seems bi polar but she has this way of making Mi Ri make sense. Na Moon Hee plays Jalmoni that grounds the main characters. She plays a deaf/mute character and although she has no spoken lines her amazing acting shows through her facial expressions. She gives a very moving performance.

To some, this drama might not be their cup of tea but for people who want a more realistic drama with fascinating characters I dare you to give this a try. I usually don’t like realistic dramas like this one but I was pleasantly surprised and took away life lessons.

Story- Very similliar to Hana Yori Dongo and Hana Kimi. Has comedy, frienship, a bit of mystery and a developing romance. Would\'\'ve gotten a 10 if there was more romance but hopefully there will be a season 2 or special...

Acting/Cast- The leads had really great chemistry. The female villian was very unlikable and almost scary. The actress did a great job portraying her though. The supporting cast is wonderful!

Music- great, goes well with the scenes.

Overall- If you like HYD and Hana Kimi you will love this. One of the best J dramas Ive ever seen!

I wasn’t that interested in watching this just because I wasn’t that familiar with the cast. However the premise sounded like it might make for a fun drama…

Story: Most of the plot is just the main female character trying to get this cold CEO to fall for her and marry. It would have been more dramatic if the fight over the hotel happened during instead of at the end. Also, the romance between the 1st main couple is slowly built with most of the relationship (falling in love, breakup/angst all happening towards the last few episodes. In between though there is a revenge arc going on to keep you interested because you will want to find out the details. I actually liked the romance between the 2nd leads more because their messy relationship pulled me in making me root for them. The ending brings a welcomed twist for one of the characters.

Acting/Cast: The 4 leads did a great job actingwise. However, the actress that played Hong Mi Mi really made her character stand out more than the other female lead. She made me hate her character at times but also feel sympathetic for her at other times. I also feel like she had the most character development. For the actress that played the main female character, while she was great, I feel like anyone could have played her part and probably better. Same goes for the second male lead. When it comes to the main male lead, I wish the writers had started his character development a little sooner because it made it hard to like him for most of the drama. The supporting cast did a super job of making their characters stand out and made a lot of the scenes so enjoyable.

Music- It wasn’t that memorable but I can think of one song I liked (they repeated it over and over again in the latter half) enough to listen to outside of the show.

Rewatch- While not a must watch again, I liked the story enough to watch sometime in the future.

Overall, Can Love Become Money is not perfect and probably won’t appeal to the masses but it has a lot of things that hardcore drama lovers like myself would find enjoyable.

Well I did it...I managed to finish it! It did take me a couple months...

Story: Even though it has familiar themes such as hotel setting, rivalry for power, baking, birth secret, jealous ex gf you want to punch etc. the writer did a great job of keeping each episode well paced, which made me want to keep watching. The ending is wrapped in a nicely neat bow for those who care;)The last 20 episodes felt dragged out though, that's pretty much the only critique for the story.

Acting/Characters: The acting was spot on for all the characters. Well except Lee Jang Woo who I can't seem to like in anything. It doesn't help that his character is a spoiled whiny chaebol who blames everyone else for all his "problems." The actress who played Saewa was really great with her character because I cringed every time her character came on, probably the most annoying character I've seen in a drama ever (and I've seen a lot!). My favorite characters were Sae Young & Tae Hoon Oppa(Alex). They were too funny and cute! As for the lead couple most of the time I felt like they had more of a cute chemistry meant for friends. I really like the lead actress though (saw her in King of Dramas first, really different characters). I forgot to mention the actress who played the mentally handicapped mother Anna. Excellent acting although her character got annoying towards the end as well...

Music: Not a lot of it, and not memorable either. It's to be expected though cause most daily dramas don't incorporate music.

Rewatch: It's rewatchable but I don't know when I'll have the time to sit through all those episodes again. I also don't care to watch all the annoying characters again so there's that...

Overall Smile, Dong Hae is worth a watch if you like family themed shows with a happy ending. It is possible to finish...if you dare!

What attracted me to this movie is not only LSG is in it but the premise sounded interesting...

Although this story turned out to focus more on society issues, and less on the actual relationship between the leads I still enjoyed watching. The acting was very good and the actors were able to portray their complex characters. I wasn't a fan of the ending, although it wasn't the worst Ive seen...
