For me this one is a watchable flick as it gave me an above average experience. I would say the director played tactically to bring in the suspense per episode . Time travel is a favourite recipe of Korean creators and I am a fan of it. But apart from signal and Life on Mars, I couldn't find a something on the same class. I won't place this drama in the same league but would place definitely on the class of Tunnel and Circle. The ML is promising and I am waiting for STRANGER 2 and FL was just okay, her dialogue delivery is not up to the mark, like she has a stiff tongue , almost in every drama. All other character especially the freak girl and the thug is applaudable.

Average drama

Well, I have no complaints about this drama as I knew this was not for me. Even my friends didn't recommend as they knew this is not my type of drama. But it was not so bad neither so good...This drama got such a big viewership internationally and maybe, it can surpass dramas like Goblin or Dots.
About the couple, I missed chemistry and felt lack of emotions . As a drama, I felt that this could be placed in the same class of itaewon class. So if you like that drama, go for it!!

The music is good ..could be added to your playlist. I don't know whether the psychological condition of the characters are portrayed medically correct . I felt a bit of artificiality in that.

A standard Romcom

This drama was one on my watchlist for a long period of time, exactly 3 years. If I wasn't a fan of Gong Yoo , I wouldn't even watch this. TBH, it is a pretty satisfying Romcom if you compare with the others in Kdrama world. Being a fan of Kdrama romcoms means you have signed an agreement to comply with the lovey-dovey cringy cliche romance . If you can compromise that , this would be a fun watch. If you want to watch a drama on a serious note, still watch this, cause there aren't many realistic dramas out here.

Itaewon class as one of the most expected drama in this year was just an okay experience for me. I agree that there are segments which were different from the regular set of ROM coms but sometimes the drama tested my patience. Park SEO Joon had very little to do in this drama where the rest of the costars where mainly involved in the acting part. Finishing the drama, I had mixed feeling . Rich evil guy is something that is overused in kdrama world, and in this drama, it seemed more unrealistic. The chairman who played the antogonist role was superb ,I would say. The lead actress was okay, but there were moments when her acting got on my nerves.
Music and ost are below average. Finally , this is not a drama that I would recommend if you value your time and data

Definitely the best of 2020 IMO

I know it's a mini series but for me this is the best series I watched in 2020. The series has got around 7-10 characters but how they are portrayed is really applaudable. Ji Soo is just the main lead for the record, it is actually like a multi lead series with talented artists. The integration of animation is something new for me and I was really struck by the direction. The music is one for the playlist. The parents portrayal was so realistic and was the better actors in the drama. Being a Ji Soo fan for a long time, I think series is the most memorable one considering him as an actor.

Jisoo is really flexing this year. One hand with the one of the most disappointing drama of 2020 and the other hand with the best. Anyway, fighting !!!

When the whole world literally recommends this drama and you watch it finally ending with utter disappointment wondering whether it's your problem or the others. I don't know why this drama is rated 8.7 because this shades away the dramas that show define the real essence of kdrama into Lower ratings. The only good thing in this drama is the FL as I think she did justice.

Was waiting for something refreshing in the story but ended up with no story at all. Damn, wasting data hurts when you are a drama/movie addicts.

This is the type of drama similar to the vibe of reply series that I was looking for the past two years. There is no need to compare both and both are in its own league . Its is a star studded cast but most of the screen space were managed by the supporting actors. That is well done and a first of an experience for me. Looking forward to the next episode and it is a shame that it is only on the next year. The one character that stands out for me is Lee Jun Han and I wish to see him in a more screen space in the next season.

First of all, the first few reviews I saw in the thread made me think whether to watch this drama or not.. Then I accidently downloaded the same drama with other name Pretty Noona . That when I realised that you should never look for reviews before watching a drama, even this review lol.. if you've friends who have watched it and ask them as you may know each others taste .
Coming to the review, I can proudly say that this is one of the drama that I would recommend to a more wider and international audience..as it showed the raw and realistic romance that I couldn't find in at least 50 romantic dramas I've watched . The lead actors were so good and relatable which made me love this drama even more.
If you are looking for a realistic drama and can compromise with the slow pattern.. this drama will give you vibes.. trust me... But if you're looking for fluffy lovey dovey dramas, just stay away from it..
This drama is for that people who dropped or disliked while you were sleeping, pinocchio, BOF , you are beautiful , my love from another star.. because I believe we may have the same taste in dramas

I didn't think that a drama can give me hangovers . It's been almost an year since I finished this drama but yet to get over with it. A lot of things made me hesitated to watch this one . The main reason was Lee Sun Gyun as I haven't heard about him before. Well, after watching this drama, he became one of my favourite actor in Korea, along with his voice.
I didn't knew that platonic love would give me so much pleasure and this one was so memorable and heart wrenching that no other drama could give. Watched over a hundred dramas and still nothing could come close to this beauty. IU is ❤️. She is a baby faced assassin. Her performance one of the best by a female lead actor I have seen in kdrama.
Whenever a scene is played along with the OST 'There is a Rainbow', I goes deep into my heart . Sondia is beautiful as well but my favourite is the former. I have been hearing this OST over an year and it still doesn't bore me.
Every charater has their own identity and the actors portrayed it in the best way they could.
This is a must watch drama as I think this is one of the best if not the best .

The drama has its faults and somewhat portrays the same type of rich high class family but the story and acting fades all those negatives. This is one hell of an underrated one. Mainly, the chances of dropping this is high as there is no dramatic romances or unexpected twist. Neither does it have an idol or dovey moments. But if you want to watch a masterclass and compromise with the pace , this one is for you. I watched it just because of JH and ohboy !! I am glad. Sueng Jo is really impressive . I have mixed feeling about the FL and I found her as a miscast.

The second K-movie that I watched and liked in 2020 after The man standing next. Well, I really liked this noir thriller. Especially, the way plot is written. It stands away from the conventional way of scripting where the viewers doesn't even get a clue how this is gonna end up. To remind you, as always , this is not everyones cup of tea. I won't say that this is a cult one either but it a watchable flick and defensively in my top 50 kmovies. There isn't a lot of violent graphic scenes but I would recommend the light hearted non violence chaps to skip this one. Overall, I would give an 8 cause anything less would be a bit unfair.

What can I Say about this drama, obviously that most recommended drama , but gave me just an average experience. If it wasn't for the high expectation and rating, I would've like it more but really , I felt disappointed. This is a high budget drama and it might have collected triple their expenses by now. Action were Recommendable and romance is cheesy and sometimes cringeworthy. This is the first time I'm watching a Joon Ki work and I'm impressed and might watch some of his works later. We couldn't blame if someone say that they like the supporting actors more that the leads because they were really adorable.

The theme is almost the same as Go back couple, the difference is that here it focussed on more of the misogynistic factors of a typical family. The drama shows a message on how to be an equal part in family management. It has its fault and the story is predictable tbh but it a beautiful drama with less cliches and wonderful chemistry . Coming to end of the story, it lacked in content and became a bit uninteresting but was on point with the message. I couldn't binge watch this as much as GBC . Ji sung is impressive and his expressions were right on point. Always a fan of Han ji min . I really enjoyed the bromance more than romance . Became a fan of the SL from Money flower . Looking forward for more of his work.

Well, Thank You is a simple plot portrayed beautifully in 16 hours. The topic is relevent even today on how a person with AIDS will be viewed by the society. Instead of going on a full sorrow mode, the drama mixes up with good romance and comedy. Each character is mentionable . The child actress is very talented and promising . The grandpa character is also one memorable.
Personally, I was not into pre 2010 drama as I'm afraid the plot will be different from my taste. But this drama changed my view. It's surely an underrated drama without all the post 2010 nuisance. Yes, it has cliches but bearable. Gong yo Jin is superb and I liked her acting skills.
I'm not sure if I will recommend this drama but if you like Coffee Prince, you can go for it.

Tbh, It is hard to write a review on this drama as it is beyond words. Couldn't express what I just saw. This is art, an acting masterclass confined in a two hour period. For a guy who watched over 200 korean movie, I must say, it is easy to cry as k-director have a knack to go through your sentiments. But here, I didn't roll a single tear, instead, I felt the pain, of both the king and the prince, their family. It was something new to me.
Yoo Ah In is really underrated imo.. he just handled the dramatic scenes with ease.. became a fan.. Kang Sang Ho, the veteran, is beyond words, definitely, in the top 10 actor of the world imo..
The bgms are also applaudable, blended well with the scenes. The cinematography is really memorable from frame to frame. Overall, a movie I would recommend.
