Basically the drama is about the politics that happens between concubines in the palace. Concubines with high power will try to manipulate others for their selfish desires. We can make the story of drama in two parts1. When Wei Ying Luo is a maid in the palace. Because of her smartness she evolves and becomes a close maid to the empress. When the empress died later she will become a concubine because of some situations
2. How she turns emperor attention towards her (I personally liked this part so much).
I like the way the drama has taken.
All characters made their best in acting and the drama is mainly about Wei Ying Luo
This drama is highly recommended for china drama lovers

We can mainly divide drama into three parts.
1. How the both leads grow their friendship
2. Main Leads sorrows and struggle time
3. Revenge part for their beloved ones
Everything is perfect in this drama, I like both leads their acting and expressions, I am looking forward to watch the drama Gank Your Heart as my favorite Wang Yi Bo is Main lead
Please don't hesitate watching this drama only because there is no female lead.

Story: There is no much suspense in the story, if you have already watched many Chinese dramas, you can guess the main plot. The way the story narrated is very good, you will not be disappointed by the story plot. Plans, betrayal, love, sad, craziness???? every element is balanced in the story.
Acting/Cast: Every character in the story has powers, you will not be bored, even this is lengthy drama. I have to say, the actors will take you to their world. They acted well in there characters.
Music: The music is fabulous, it played at right time in scenes. I am searching for the OST now to listen again...
Re-watch Value : Definitely I will watch this drama, not entire drama but the scenes that I liked the most. May be after some days I will watch entire drama again..... not sure????
Finally I recommend everyone to watch this drama, it won't let you down or waste your time. If you are not a fan of dramas which have more episodes, try to watch few episodes then you will realize you have to watch it all.
I have become a huge fan of Chinese dramas, this the best drama I have ever watched.

The first part of the drama is very good, the second part is not that great. We can easily guess the story line. Even their is a twist in second half which is not great.
I recommend this drama to the people, who wants to complete it in one day and need to see some romantic and cute moments.
I like the main cast and their acting. If they increased the heroine role in the second half of the drama, it will be great.

light and fluffly drama to watch
I started watching this drama because I watched Maiden Holmes. Maiden Holmes and My Unicorn girl have the same FL. Even in Maiden Holmes FL disguised as a boy and she looks good in disguise. So I have started watching My Unicorn girl drama.I have not disappointed at any point. ML is very handsome and the side couple stories are also good.
Beware that most of the part FL is disguised as a boy. Only for a few scenes, she has seen as a girl.
But I liked her as a boy. This is entirely my opinion.
If you want to watch a short and sweet drama go for it don't hesitate.

I started this drama because i like main lead. First two episodes are really good which makes me to continue this drama. I am disappointed with hero's attitude and got irritated in some scenes. Story and music is not great. I did not like the main actress acting. Everything is too plain and no interesting scenes in the drama. Later this drama is getting bored and finally i dropped this drama.
Story: Story doesn't have any big twists.
Acting/Cast: Cast did their best in acting to express emotions.
Music: I did not remember any songs.
Re-watch Value: I will watch first two episodes (maybe).
Over all I didn't like this drama and doesn’t worth my time. I don’t know why the main lead has chosen this drama to act I am really disappointed. Hoping next drama will be a good one.
