I've been watching dramas with my family since I was born. I don't remember most of the ones in my early years, of course. I think the late 90s was when I started truly understanding them, but I watched them with Vietnamese dub. It wasn't until the 2000s did I watch them in the original language with English subs. Hopefully, one day, they will add Vietnamese series on here as I've seen a few of those as well.

I enjoy watching all sorts of drama whenever I have time.  Wuxia, Xianxia, fantasy, action, romance, family, BL;  I don't really discriminate against genre or country as long as it's something that interests me. Or it's something my girlfriend/wifey is watching.  I have a lot I need to go back and write reviews for, but too lazy.  Cohesive thoughts and words are hard. Maybe slowly over time and for the ones I still have some impression of. I only recently started using MyDramaList to keep track of my dramas, so my Completed list is missing a lot. I am slowly in the process of adding completed dramas as I remember them.

Personal Notes & Self Guidelines:

1. Give the drama a chance if the premise interests you. Ratings, reviews, and comments aren't really a good indicator of whether you will like or dislike something. We all have different tastes and standards.  I think ratings/reviews should only be used to set priority if you already have list of things you want to watch or for when you want to decide if you should continue something  as I acknowledge that time can be a limiting factor.

2. Be kind (to others and yourself. Don't let anyone bully you, but also don't bully others. ) Sometimes discussions/comments can get heated. It's fine to have differing opinions, but keep it civil. There is no need to insult anyone. If I am unkind, call me out on it. I won't be offended. We're allowed to feel however we feel, but no need to insult or attack anyone personally. Similarly, it's fine and good to call out and acknowledge bad or toxic behavior in series, but we should also keep in mind that it's also fiction. Discuss/educate. It's fine if we don't enjoy it, but don't shame others for enjoying it.

3. Give credit where credit is due. I like to focus more on the positives than the negatives. I aim to  credit a series/movie  for the things it does well too rather than just criticize/penalize it for what they do poorly, so my ratings will always reflect that. By default, everything gets an 8.0 rating and it can go up or down from there as I watch. I don't drop dramas unless I can't find good English subs for it. Maybe the series will do something unexpected that I may like. I will eventually start writing reviews once I figure out how to do it in an organize way so that I can share my thoughts on the good and bad aspects to explain my ratings.

10 - reserved to mark my favorites someday.
9.5 - awesome, high chance of rewatch.
9 - great, good chance of rewatch.
8.5 - Very good, wouldn't mind rewatching with someone else
8 - good, but idk if I would rewatch
7.5 - I liked it, it was ok, wouldn't rewatch though
7 - It's ok, but either I was cringing a lot or really uninterested
6.5 - I didn't like it.
6 - I really didn't like it. Frustrating to watch for whatever reason
5.5 - I hated it, but this is probably the lowest I will go  unless I can't list  a single good thing

4. No more than 10 series on my 'Currently Watching' list.  I will also add things to my 'Currently Watching' list that I haven't officially started to prioritize it over the others from my 'Plan To Watch' list. I usually try to keep my currently watching list under 10 series though to leave room for me to up friends' recommendations.

5. Always be yourself. Unless you can be a shark, then be a shark. Or be a frog.
