BRILLIANT FAMILY DRAMA, for only the first 10 eps

The first two episodes really hooked me right away. The acting, the plot, the characters develeopment, the heartbreaking and heartwarming scenes are just top notch. It was one of the best family drama! Just until episode 10 that is.

After that. It was basic mediocre romantic drama A loves B, C loves B, B loves C eventually, but the chemistry is better for A and B to be together, D loves C, E loves D, F loves E, and so on.. oh god. And Filled the conflict by A B C D E’s secret and dark past through out the story, and the conflict was just lazy writing IMO, and that was for another 30 episodes!

I totally recommend to watch it just for the first 10 episodes. The rests are not so worth the time to watch.

So far the best romantic cdrama i’ve ever watched

So i rarely watched cdrama. The last cdrama i watched are the return of the condor heroes (1983), legend of madame white snake 1992, and meteor garden (2001 ; which for me it’s just okay). Then suddenly in early 2022 my closed cousin recommended this cdrama. And i really loved it! Why? Because it’s a mature romance story. And both FL and ML are equally strong. And i really love that the ML is the one struggilng at first due to his personal family problems and uncertainty on chasing his dream.

The game arc is only until eps 12 (i think, i forgot). And it’s still interesting. Even my partner that’s not a gamer (still he was confused by the gameplay and asked me some things that he didn’t understand about the game) still enjoy the gamearc and the climax from the casual competition is so satisfying. And i enjoyed about the aerospace drama, it’s not taking too long, and it’s a must to understand the ML better and the characters development for him and his colleagues. And what i love, eventhough the ML is super smart, most of the aerospace’s conflict / trouble was solved by team effort, not necessarily showing off the ML.

As for the FL, it’s not annoying, it’s not a stalker (like go go squid), fun, equally beautiful, and also have a strong carrer (as a celebrity).

So. Due to it’s mature story, not the typical ML that is overconfident, equally strong FL and ML, fun and mature FL, good characters development, filler that is necessary to see the struglleness of both carrer (and i think it’s not that long. It’s the right amount of screen time), the chemistry, good writing, good CG to execute the game arc and aerospace’s conflict scenes. I’d say this is highly recommended.

Because you are my glory, i browsed and searched for other good cdramas (reset and the first 10 episodes of go ahead so far are my favorites). I dropped the first 10 mins of go go squid because i’m nauseous to see the FL stalking a handsome guy walking into her cyber cafe. And dropped and can’t finish eps 1 of love 020 because i didn’t get the feel, and read from other reviewers that these 2 cdrama supposedly have a really smart FL but somehow didn’t show it and looks pathetic and the ML is the typical “overthetop/cold” type. Is there any other good romantic cdramas that just like what i just described why i loved you are my glory?
