Too shallow
First of all a big applause to the director for even opening the themes about the problems of BL industry. That definitely needed courage. Sadly the documentary stays too shallow, not really addressing the problems, not really going into any depth at all. I have no idea why are here Bright and Win, their answers are definitely scripted, so their contribution is actually zero. But there are probably not many active BL actors willing to talk about their industry and its problems. I would pay a lot of money to hear the real answers of such legends as Max and Tul, or Mew (who can definitely tell a lot of nasty stories) or Saint etc.. But of course that is just wishful thinking. But the director could talk about other problems - fanservice, stereotypes in bl works etc etc, but he did not.Was this review helpful to you?

Waste of potential
The main problem is, that it is just too short, because the idea behind Mono/Probe concept is actually very interisting. The cinematography and music are top!, but some scenes do not make any sense, the actor with mask can´t act at all (I get it, he had the mask on for most of the time, but actually I have problem with the times when he did not), most of the side plots are left open (then why to talk about it at all??) and that horrible excuse for a kiss was just plain ridiculous. If this all is just a start and we get a second season, I would be glad. Was this review helpful to you?

Not cute but great
I really understand why fans have problem with this season, for me the cheating plot is also a HUGE turn off.BUT!
The chemistry between KornxKnock is insane, all of their scenes are just on spot. As everyone else I loved their make up scene, but the real deal is their break up - I am not a crier, but in this case I was crying so hard, it was so painful to watch (they were breaking up while hugging eo for God´s sake!). Well I have of course problem with the cheating - it was totally awful and also horribly acted - yes I am looking at you, Max, but I guess it happens when you should play something so out of your character ( Korn and cheating what the duck??) and especially when there is no real reason for that ( that guy is just repulsive and you have your literal wet dream at home whom you love for life). So all in all KornxKnock reign as always, love them.
I had problem with Yihwa and Cho, and not because Yihwa kissed someone else and than took time to sort things out (we all should be like this IRL!!), but I just did not feel the love between them, if KK were on fire, these two were just..not.
Bright/Farm/Rit mess is just that, a mess, so I am not going to start to explain how I feel about that.
So if you are looking for a cute gay story, this is definitely not for you. But if you want some more mature themes with actors who have some of the best chemistry you can find in dramas, just go for it. Definitely worth watching!!

Too slow
I came for the epic romance everyone promised, but sadly I was disappointed. This is not a slow burn romance, this is an almost nonexistent romance! The male leads have almost no together screentime at all. I don’t know what everyone else was watching, but this was just a very boring family drama with a few great scenes. The male leads have great chemistry and their interactions were almost perfect, so naturally I feel robbed with how many hours od filler I was forced to watch. I will try part two without any expectations at all.Was this review helpful to you?
