How I got into Kpop and eventually Kdrama:

......I've known about Kpop since I was 15/16 years old. Among the first songs I heard are [SES - Dreams
......Come True] and [Shinhwa - Hero]. Having focused more on J-Rock and J-pop I've only known a
......handful of Kpop. It wasn't until the second half of 2015 that I started to listen to Kpop more actively.
......Spring 2016 I took the next step by more actively looking up the groups I liked most and to get to know
......them. So despite having known about Kpop for many years, it's been only fairly recently that I took the
......real plunge.

......It was only a little later that I took the plunge and picked a K-drama to watch. Despite having been into
......anime, I'd never watched a J-drama. (At most a J-movie.) It took a few weeks for me to finish my first
......K-drama, but when I did I was forever sold. Secret Garden has pulled me in.

......The motivation for me to try and learn to understand Korean is mostly because of the Kpop, but a
......second motivator is definitely the drama's I'm watching. But above all - just like German - I just like the
......sound of it.

............9 - An amazing drama that was very well put together, but compared to those that scored a 10, I
................couldn't score it a perfect 10.

............8.5 - A really good drama that was very enjoyable and a fun ride. Great/good story, but had a few
...................things that didn't make it perfect.

............8 - Well above average in most parts and very entertaining. It was a good watch and I don't regret
.................seeing it.

............7.5 - For the most part, it was well put together. A nice watch. It maybe didn't quite meet my
...................expectations. Or had too many small flaws for me to comfortably give it an 8.

............7 - Several flaws, but not enough to deter from enjoying and watching. For me it just didn't quite
.................cut it. Chances are I won't finish it, depending on how much the flaws bother me personally.

....................nearly enough to make-up for the bad. 

............4 - Below average - only a few good parts, but it's crushed by all the badness.

....................eyes waaaaaay too much.

............2.5 - Terrible. It was extremely frustrating and I have trouble picking out things I liked. 

............2 - Horrible. Don't understand how anyone could possibly like it and I'm confused by anyone who

............1.5 - Horrendous. Bad everything and it's a miracle that I even got through a minute of it.

............1 - A Travesty of a piece of work. Everything went horribly and I hated it. It's a shame it can't be
.................rated any lower than this.
