(Mostly) Satisfying Ending
I liked Lui Ting Yu in other roles I've seen her in, but this one was so badly acted...I can't blame her too much, because the way the character was written was so naïve I kept rolling my eyes in exasperation. It was also frustrating to hear music that had been used in other shows. No alterations - pitch changes, new beats, etc. - were made.
What I did like about this series was the interesting storyline. There were so many twists that, before I knew it, I had watched 4 episodes in a row! (While the series isn't a completely accurate representation, looking up the history about this era *spoil* things.)
And even though I don't have such an immature view of the world to expect "butterflies and rainbows" like the main character, I do appreciate when the bad guys get their due. This series did not disappoint in that way.
