Warning: I am writing this review at 2am after just finishing the drama so my thoughts are all over the place. Read at your own discretion.

This drama, despite not being very plot-driven, was very addicting. At first, I wasn't the biggest fan of Xing Yun (especially the horrible wig and hairstyle they gave her character....), but over time, I fell in love with all the characters, especially Xing Yun, who was strong and trusted Xia Ke, unlike other female leads I have seen. I love the aspect of having three different couples, all with different circumstances, but all very adorable. I would've liked for them to keep us updated with Chu Nan and Shen Qing's relationship, which I found super super adorable, but felt that they got shoved aside after the first ten episodes. Yao Qing and He Yu were also a tad rushed. Xia Ke and Xing Yun were so flipping adorable, and while there was an abundance of cute scenes, I did feel that they did not have as much chemistry as other couples I've seen. So many eye-candies!!!!

The plot is nothing too new. Typical CEO and office worker relationship and storyline. I liked how both leads eventually came to realize their love for one another, and even though it took them 3247239847 years to get together, it felt like a very natural progression. The plot picked up quite quickly, but unfortunately, there were also typical annoying drama tropes thrown in within the last episode (annoying ex-girlfriend, poor communication skills b/w the main couple, family business conflicts, etc.).

I'm overall satisfied with the ending and left the drama smiling. Actually, I was probably smiling through 95% of this drama, it was just so lighthearted and adorable.

I would definitely give this a go if you like cute and lighthearted dramas. I was looking for something to mend the hole left in my heart from Put Your Head on my Shoulders, and I think this did the trick!! <3 <3 <3
