Why watch Bad Genius the series?

At first, I was very skeptical to watch the series mainly because I thought there was no way the original Lin and Bank could ever be replaced. However, I couldn't be more thankful that I chose to watch the series nonetheless.
If you love the movie, you'll definitely love the series. The writer added more depth to the story because obviously the duration of the whole series is way longer the movie.

Worthy to mention, the unsaid yet undeniable connection between Lin and Bank was even more defined in the series. Following are the friendship between Lin and Grace; the relationship between Grace and Pat; the cheating arrangements; but I need to stop here so as not to reveal any spoiler. The characters, no matter how evil they'd become, you cannot hate them because the reasons are logical enough that probably you'd do the same if you were in the same situation.

Every episode is more intense. You could literally hear your heart getting out your chest. Although, changes have been made from the movie but it's mainly because to justify more the actions done by the characters. The cast and the crew have done their respective parts incredibly. Lastly, the opening song is so good, you'd be having a hard time to skip it. To reiterate, the series has more depth than the movie!

Overall, the series deserved attention just as the movie, and personally, even more.
Check it out guys.

A drama series that would certainly want you to go back to your younger days and be willing enough to be foolish for love.

In this drama, the female lead bravely embraced her feelings. Despite their great difference in character, academic performance and views in life. These didn't hinder her to pursue her first love. She didn't seem to reckon if she was worthy to be with him but pursued him nonetheless. Like any first love, hers is innocent yet very courageous. All throughout the story, the female lead seemed to be seeking for an answer if her feelings would change someday because a lifefime is definitely long.

As for the handsome male lead who — due to certain circumstances had learnt not to depend on anyone — developed a frozen heart but hopefully to be melted by the female lead (?). Whilst the second male lead would definitely make you wish you were the female lead so you could choose him. His love aimed only at one reward — seeing the girl he loves happy.

The time setting mostly took place during their highschool days wherein they grow as an individual while creating friendship with one another and finding what they want to do later on.

Overall, the story is so breathtaking that you'd be having a hard time to recover after watching the drama so you'd end up rewatching it all over again.

HOSPITAL PLAYLIST IS ONE OF THE FEW GOOD THINGS THAT HAVE EVER HAPPENED THIS YEAR! EVERY EPISODE WAS PERFECTLY WRITTEN THAT WAITING EVERY WEEK FOR A NEW ONE WAS INDEED A TORTURE. THE CAST IS WELL CHOSEN SINCE THEY PORTRAYED THEIR PARTS VERY WELL. THE MORE EPISODES I WATCHED, THE MORE I FELT I WAS PART OF THEM.

THERE WAS REALLY NO EXTRAORDINARY THING ABOUT THIS DRAMA, THE 5 MAIN CHARACTERS AREN'T PRODIGIES IN MEDICINE BUT THEIR PASSION MADE THEM BETTER DOCTORS. THE SINCERITY AND REALNESS IN EVERY EPISODE ARE THE REASONS WHY THE DRAMA EXCEEDED THE VIEWERS' EXPECTATIONS.

WHAT MADE IT BEARABLE TO WAIT EVERY WEEK WAS THE OST OF THE DRAMA. EVERY EPISODE, THE BAND WOULD PLAY A DIFFERENT SONG THAT COULD STIR DIFFERENT EMOTIONS. IT CERTAINLY LIVED UP TO ITS TITLE AS HOSPITAL PLAYLIST.

IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR COMEDY, FRIENDSHIP, ROMANCE, SLICE OF LIFE, MEDICAL AND MUSICAL, ALL IN ONE DRAMA, DON'T WASTE ANOTHER SECOND AND WATCH IT ALREADY. BE ONE OF US AS WE AWAIT FOR THEIR REAPPEARANCE NEXT YEAR.

It is quite common in Japanese movies for a girl to confess her feelings to the guy but in this movie, what makes it different from the rest is that the girl confesses her feelings to the guy who is in a serious relationship. She wasn't hoping for her feelings to be reciprocated so she asked for their friendship to remain still after that.

This isn't a movie where a girl pathetically and annoyingly chases after the guy whom she has feelings for. This is a movie where a girl appreciates being friends with the guy and doing things to sincerely support him.

The movie successfully show that love isn't all rainbows and glitters. You have to face unexpected storms in order for you to grow stronger. Along the way, feelings might be unknowingly suppressed but it would soon be acknowledged because the people around you will remind you.
