I’ll do your homework for you

That line in episode 9. I LOST IT. Maybe it has been a rough few weeks for me, so I was already primed for something to take me over the edge. With my limited schedule as a full-time working mom, this story was a random gift from the universe and once I entered the world, I couldn’t stop until I was done, even sacrificing my rest was a small price to pay to witness their incredible journeys. I laughed. I cried. I laughed. I cried. It was amazing. It was exhilarating. The story explored multiple themes: life and death; safety and security; attachment and belongingness; restriction and liberation; losses and abandonment. These profound themes were interwoven into a story line that was light and heavy at the same time. Yes, I laughed through my tears. Be ready to experience the full range of emotions. We can be so caught up in our mundane routines that sometimes we need a refresher to shock us back into reality, to put us back on track on this continuum of space and time, and that at the core of our existence is the need to just remember that we matter, no matter how big or small. Every now and then, a story comes along that reminds us to give our eyes, “a break from the sun.” This was my break. And, I am ever so grateful… P.S. I viewed the ending of the story as a renewed beginning, that life and death is a full circle and that we need to strive to be at peace with every choice/path we take.
