Something so different from other dramas (My 1%)
I came across this drama by accident because I had nothing else to watch but when I noticed the high ratings on Viki, I knew I had to give it a try. But boyyy that was the best decision I’ve ever made. If you’re looking a for a simple story with characters that have an amazing chemistry from the start, this is the drama for you. it’s not drama heavy, and the story behind it could’ve been written better to make it even more interesting, but I kept watching for the romance. Seeing how the characters change over time and how their love just kept growing, despite them knowing it was all supposed to be fake kept me watching for hours nonstop. So again, it’s a light hearted drama, it’s refreshing, and simple, but there’s just something about it that I know I won’t be able to forget.Was this review helpful to you?
Started out well..
Chemistry was great, story started off strong, and I loved the changes between the main couple and their jobs. I also enjoyed seeing Yang Hua’s development throughout the show. Unfortunately, I can’t rate it anything above 7 simply because the writers had a great idea but were not good executing it. Tha last few episodes fell short and even rushed, unnecessarily dragging the main couple and their problems. I was also not a fan of the side couple so my rating is a good 7.5/10. It is a good drama but it was missing a lot too.Was this review helpful to you?
Plain and Simple
Easy. This drama is pretty high in my list because this is just so FUNNY. The comedy had me rolling and laughing in tears at times. Yes, there were good and bad moments and sometimes I didn’t even know if I was having an emotional breakdown while watching but I have to give an 8/10 because it surely made me laugh and have a good time. Didn’t necessarily like all the characters in this drama for different reasons but I think the story and the trauma behind that story really helped the drama succeedWas this review helpful to you?
Surprising yet worthwhile
I was surprised at the fact that I finished this drama but honestly, it’s worth watching and that’s why I had to finish it. Not going to lie, if you’re not a fan of cliches and some cringe scenes then this might not be the drama for you. However, if you get past that and are looking for a really really good story to watch and good soundtrack then you are at the right place because this drama had everything I wanted and needed. Even with all the romance going on, the drama itself had me glue to my phone for 3 days straight until I could finish it so I will definitely recommend this if you think it’s for you.Was this review helpful to you?
Good enough
This drama surely had me on my toes sometimes but I can’t get enough of the chemistry between the actors and how the story flows with them. I started watching this thinking there would not be enough drama to keep me watching but I have to say I was wrong. It was good enough and again chemistry!!. There were a lot of cute scenes that I would rewatch any minute I could and even though there were times when I wanted to turn off the drama I still finished it so that’s enough to say that it is not too bad and the OST is so great as well!Was this review helpful to you?
Worth watching
Even with the critics, I do believe this drama is worth watching. It was slow paced and not your usual lovey lovey romantic drama but I personally found myself really interested in the story behind each character and how the beauty standard affected and influenced their lives. There wasn’t a moment where I didn’t want to watch an episode because it all flows through perfectly. Not saying this is the best drama ever but I do think it is worth giving it a try and seeing for yourself what this drama has to bring.Was this review helpful to you?
