One of my favorites

Oh my where do I start with this masterpiece???

First things first, it was so WORTH waiting for this drama to finally release! We waited for a LONG time, but it really was worth it!

This really was a fresh drama, I think we kinda needed something like this, I mean I really love watching college-based bl's, but I wish we could get more unique dramas like ATOTS! there was no side couples who got more screen time than the main couple. Every actor in this this drama acted their role to the fullest and I seriously loved it. This drama taught me something, it's to finally start doing things I would like to try, help others, give without expecting something in return, not to be scared of facing the reality, learn to forgive yourself because not everything is your fault.

The whole story line was so well made and managed! Actors... they really stole my heart with their amazing acting skills! All of them!

Oh the OST, I could clearly picture myself lying in the grass at night and looking at the bright stars in the sky! One day when I finally get the opportunity to experience lying in the grass in the night, counting stars, I will definitely play ATOTS's OST!

Reality check

Now this one was totally different than any other BL drama I've watched so far!

This drama definitely won't suit some people's taste, I'll take myself as an example. If this drama aired in 2019-2020, when I just started watching BL dramas, I know that I'd probably drop it/won't be interested in it :( when I started I just wanted to watch some fluff/nothing too serious, also we can say that compared to me from today, I was more immature back then ?‍♀️
If you expect just fluff or if you expect something 18+ happening, I don't think you'll like it. To like this drama I guess you have to understand it. I don't blame anyone who disliked this drama, maybe try watching it once again one day when you have a different mindset, maybe it'll hit you differently.

This drama is literally a life lesson, not everything goes the way we want it to go, but we can fight for what we want, but also we should know when to put the ball down and stop the game. The characters didn't just talk into the open so the wind can blow away their words, words they said/discussions they had, are actally deep. As for the ending, I'm not sad/disappointed abut it at all, because YES that's life ?‍♀️and yes, since life is hard to everyone in their own way, we prefer a light, funny, happy and "daydream" drama (I'm saying this because I also prefer those light cute dramas), but sometimes, it's good to watch a drama like this as well!

Woah, I watched this movie last night and woah (it was a bad idea watching it at night lol) I recommend you watch it in the day time if you don't like scary stuff, it's not SCARY scary, but it sure had a few scenes that scared me and I was repeating in myself "ahhh, I don't wanna watch it I don't wanna watch it" but then, it wasn't scary to the point of me giving up on it, and also it's a 30 minutes long movie so I couldn't just give up halfway thru it. So to everyone who doesn't like scary stuff I just wanted to warn you, just watch it in the day time, give this movie a try.

I'm not going to spoil it to you guys so I'll just say that I was sooo shocked by one scene :O like, it's not something you would expect from a Korean BL :O so y'all better prepare yourselves ? it literally made me watch that scene with my mouth open lol

Characters in this movie ? they were okay, since it's not a full-lenght movie we can't expect too much, actors did a relatively good job for their roles in the short time they had!

So I just made a list of dramas and movies I've watched so far, and it's this dramas turn to be rated :D and it brought me some really good memories :D

This is one of the first Chinese BL's I've watched, and as we know due to China's censorship I wasn't even expecting there to be spicy scenes. But even tho this was more like a bromance it was really good in my opinion, the actors understood their roles pretty good and carried on like that until the end.

Oh and, since y'all saw that there's a a bodyguard training company I can mention it, and I won't spoil anything, I just wangted to say that since I used to train kickboxing for around 5 years, bodyguard training center was one of the things that made me wanna watch this drama even more lol

I hope you find my review kinds helpful and not so boring

For me there were lots of funny and cute scenes! So I really loved this drama. I'm a sensitive. All in all this drama is interesting and worth watching :D

I just know that there won't be another drama as good as this one, I watched a lot of dramas and I know this one will stay number one for me

The whole thing made me laugh so many times, made me nervous/on edge cause I had no idea what's about to happen, and it made me cry a few times. It has everything we could ask for in one drama, it's simply beautiful! The actors... Oh God they did an AMAZING job here! I just wanna thank EVERYONE who worked on this masterpiece! Actors, director, producers, staff, translation team, etc. thank you all for allowing us to watch this beautiful piece of art!

So that is actually a review I left in comment section on Viki when I finished watching this drama last year, and let me tell you something. I still stand by what I said, this drama actually has so many hidden stories behind each scene, you'll understand if you re-watch it (yes I re-watched it 3 times so far) it's been a year and I'm still not over this drama. This drama is that type of a drama, the one that will always stay somewhere in your mind, and always stay in your heard.

Oh and one more thing, when you're done with The Untamed, you'll try looking for a similar drama, and it would be hard to find one that can match with The Untamed! So good luck guys :D

Hard one to rate

Well, first things first, I'm sad I haven't watched this series earlier! It was on my to watch list before it even aired, but then I didn't know if I should watch it or not, because of the comments I read on social media, so I was delaying watching it until last night ?

I really dom't know how to rate this drama, I both liked and disliked it ?

Liked:
The chemistry between Max and Cheng Hao was TOP NOTCH, I really really liked their acting! And because they did an amazing job, I loved their characters!
I loved all the cute/good things, moments and details this drama gave us, both with couples and the side characters.
It was a cute and refreshing drama to watch, wow I can't stop thinking about CTS and FLK (okay idk if I should put CZS&FLG or CZS&FLK so don't come at me ?) these two made ma all happy and giggly through the series ? All their scenes were really good! ?

Disliked:
Now the hard part...
First of all I don't know what to think about *THAT ONE EPISODE*
I can kinda understand why what happened in that episode had to happen, you know, sometimes we prioritize the happiness of other's insted of our own happiness, but if by what we're choosing, none of us is happy... than that's definitely not a good option ? so personally I didn't like that episode, if they really had to make it that way, they could've make it a little different/better.
Now the second main couple... I'll be honest, I haven't watched Matt's other dramas so I can't say he's a bad actor! But I just think that this role wasn't suiting for him.
It's nice how we got this type of a father-daughter story, it's not something we can see often in this concept, it's supposed to be mature, but it wasn't portrayed right (just my opinion) and I think 2nd couple's story was a little boring and longer than it should've been... I'll be honest again, I watched some of their scenes, but I also skipped some of their scenes...
The "WHY DID THIS HAPPEN" episode and 2nd couple made me go from "I absolutely love this drama" to "now what? do I like it or no?"

So, without that one episode and unnecessary moments that 2nd couple had, I could've easily rated this drama 9/10 or even 10/10 (just my taste ?‍♀️)

But I'll give it an 8/10, because in the end it is a good drama with some flaws ?
I'm giving it a rating like this, because, if you just skip the unnecessary parts, it's really good!

My first ever BL :3

Ah :D this is my first ever BL series I've watched!

When I watched it (beginning of 2020, March I think) I had no idea that bl series even existed, and I didn't even knew what that was lol. I watched it because it somehow popped up in my recommendations on yt, and that's when quarantine started in my country, so I was extremely bored and of course I watched it ? and I'm really glad this was my first bl, because if it was some other (newer) my standards would be thru the roof from the start and I'd find other (older) bl's not good enough, I said this because I know myself, that's how it would be ?

Now to my opinion on this drama, I'll start with the things I didn't liked so much in this drama. It's kinda fast paced? I understand it's a 2015 CHINESE bl drama so I can't say much about it being like that but I just didn't like it that way ?and because it was fast paced I was even more confused (the fact that it was my first bl ever explains why I was confused in the first place), but there was no actual scenes in the drama that made me dislike it!

Well that's all I have to say about things I didn't liked in this drama. Now to the stuff I loved :D

It made me laugh for real! And some scenes, now that I know about China's censorship, got me shook ? they sneaked in some touching, those scenes made me feel 2nd hand embarrassment/cringiness but made me laugh as well. I love how actors "presented" (sorry english isn't my native language and I can't remember which word I wanted to use...) the roles they were assigned with! All in all it isn't a PERFECT bl drama, but I loved it, and I'm glad this was my first ever bl :D

A light short drama worth watching

As I remember I've watched this drama at the end of last year when I finished *some other drama* and was waiting for *another drama* to get episode update. I hope this isn't a big spoiler? so we know there's three sons, this is a Taiwanese drama, and I was like "okay so I'm expecting to hear them speak in Taiwanese" and it was already past midnight for me when I decided to watch it, so...

I started watching the drama and when I first heard one of them speaking in Korean I didn't even realized lol, I guess my brain just ignored it, but another sentence and I was confused, I thought my brain was playing tricks on me lol.

So back to the drama, for me this is a short drama worth watching! It doesn't have a DEEP DEEP meaning and a plot, it's a light drama you can watch in one night :) not every BL drama has to be long, nerve-wrecking and college based. Sometimes we don't have to look for a deep meaning in dramas, just can just let ourselves enjoy and not overthink :)

now let me explain my rating, it was a pretty decent drama, but it's not something I can give 10/10 to
