What an absolute and utter mess
This whole story is all over the place. I don’t think I can describe how unhinged this storyline is without spoilering so just believe me when I say it is.Never seen anything this random before.
The reason I’m giving 4 stars is because I did feel for most of the characters most of the time even when they did not make any sense at all. So acting was quite good and chemistry wasn’t too bad for the most part either.
But none of that really redeems the fact that it just got more and more random the further along it got and in the end I just really wanted it to end.

This was incredibly bad
The only reason I didn’t drop this after the first episode was cause I just needed something Thai to be playing while I study. This whole series pretty much didn’t have a story. Nothing happened. And the acting was absolutely horrendous for the most part. Really the only positive was Ai‘s actors face (he was also sort of ok acting).
I don’t recommend watching this. Although I don’t think most people would even last through the first few episodes anyways.

Weird plot holes and lacking chemistry sadly
Overall I enjoyed the majority of this Series. It did get a bit weird and confusing and illogical in the end.. but well with a time travelling plot that’s to be expected.Interestingly enough I feel like both Gawin and Krist did great with their roles respectively. It’s just that the feeling of a very socially awkward 30yo in the body of a teen just makes for a weird feeling generally… krist did great at being exactly what he was supposed to be… I don’t see fault in the actors here but very much in the story itself.
While I did ship both characters together and I did feel like they liked each other, we were missing some actual vocalisation of those feelings from one side which made the whole thing feel a bit lacking in chemistry.. i feel like they could have put more effort into actually showing his feelings at some point, they were definitely there but the series just really didn’t give him a chance to show that.
The last Episode IMO overall was just unnecessary and could’ve been cut out of the series without any issues at all
I actually rewatched the first 10 episodes because I had quit at the end the first time around, I did still enjoy even the second watch though. Just the end really wasn’t all that giving.

watch if you don‘t like happiness and enjoy being stressed tf out
Where to even begin…I am so incredibly conflicted about this one.
I don’t think I‘ve ever watched anything this stressful in my entire life.
Cast: cast was awesome, loved almost all of them in their roles and they (mostly) all played their parts so incredibly well, which made the whole thing even more stressful but well more on that later.
Story: this is different. As in it’s not your usual happy go lucky everything is fixed by true love and a kiss BL. Which a lot of people might appreciate. I am not so sure I do. If anyone has seen Skins(?) that’s the kind of vibe it gives.
A bunch of very flawed humans with some serious issues coming together, clinging to each other for some light and love I guess.
If that’s what you‘re looking for then please go ahead and watch this. If you prefer being happy and need that magical love conquers all sprinkle on your BL maybe skip this one, or you might end up like me… which you might either way.
With blood pressure going trough the rough screaming on the inside and outside at almost every one of these characters throughout all 12 Episodes.
I was not able to ship anyone throughout most of this, I did come around a bit towards the end, but still… like I said, possibly a tad too „human“ for me.
That being said, this was not bad at all. It was actually painfully good at showing what fucked up peoples life’s, love life’s and friendships might look like… I just don’t know if that’s what I‘m looking for in a series (at least rn, 15 yo me would’ve eaten this up).
I personally don‘t think I‘d watch it again. I did take out some great music for my playlists though :)

very confusing and strange but great chemistry
Kind of unsure what to rate this one. Overall I enjoyed watching and it did manage to keep my attention for the most part. But the plot was kind of strange. Nothing really made a lot of sense and the whole series kind of built on the unwritten rule that no one can just decide to leave that school, cause honestly most problems would be solved and for most of them it would be the more sane choice. In the end most of what happened was predictable and what wasn’t just didn’t make a whole lot of sense…
The whole thing was saved by the great actors with great on screen chemistry. Who made the weird characters and stories a lot more convincing and emotional.

There’s an actual Plot!
This is one of the first Thai BLs I’ve watched thatActually had a meaningful story outside of the romantic relationships. Overall I tremendously enjoyed watching this and felt a lot.
The reason I can’t give this more than 8.5 is that some of the story really did not make a lot of sense at all and was incredibly frustrating for a bit towards the end, the series kind of lost me for a bit there.
However, they did manage to pick me back up and I enjoyed watching till the end.
All in all this was a really powerful series that made me feel some things. It is more on the serious side though so make sure you’re up for that.

Nothing happens?
I watched this solely because I saw a reddit post where someone asked for the Drama with the least chemistry between main leads in Thai BL and like 60% of the answers mentioned this one.I don’t personally think the chemistry between the actors is the biggest issue. It’s the story that doesn’t really pick up anywhere. Honestly I don’t feel like anything happens, and even when something happened at some point I was not engaged enough to care.
I only finished this cause I was doing something else during so it didn’t really matter that nothing happened.
That’s probably why their relationship feels off, cause it never really gets built at all in the first place.
Side couples were ok, at least I was sort of engaged with them lol.
4.5 stars because Perth was precious and given the strange role/plot he did a good job. Personally not a fan of the other actor in this one, but honestly he didn’t get much of a chance to show his skill either…

Big disappointment
I tried very hard to enjoy this Drama, sadly it didn’t really work out.I wasn’t a fan of the main plot/topic to begin with but I decided to give it a chance since I really enjoyed Jasper Liu in this. While my original moral concerns didn’t turn out to be the biggest issue, there were some other huge issues that honestly just made this kind of a drag to watch.
The interactions between people in this Drama are incredibly inappropriate in too many instances. It makes it very hard to sincerely ship anyone when boundaries are constantly being crossed and contested. I excuse a lot of no-go behaviour in entertainment, but there where definitely some lines crossed here, generally the entire relationship between the two main leads seemed a bit one sided…
Another reviewer has mentioned that the plot is also incredibly repetitive and sadly I have to agree. It’s pretty much the exact same template over and over until it ends. There was a bit of a change towards the end but too little too late.
All in all I just kept watching hoping to get some kind of a rewarding feeling or sense of accomplishment in the end (and for some Jasper Liu facial expressions) but I am sad to say I was left unsatisfied and pretty disappointed.
The general idea of the story wasn’t too bad, it wasn’t executed very well. The soundtrack was a banger though.

I almost made this one my new favourite
I vastly loved this Drama. I loved all of the actors and their acting, the female lead was a tad awkward at times, but I still loved her. This was a pure, beautiful and heartwarming love story. Following two people (and a couple more) in their journey through life and love. I rarely feel like I would want the relationship a Drama couple has, but I do really feel like I would want something similar to what this couple had. I honestly looked forward to every obstacle they were faced with because I wanted to know how they would solve it, they rarely disappointed.
My one point of criticism would be the lack of growth in the characters. Both of their mindsets and characters and their relationship with each other just kind of stayed the same throughout the whole Drama (not just the main characters, most side characters also stayed exactly the same throughout the whole thing). Which made the ending (or the facing of the last obstacle) rather disappointing, to me at least. The very last scene also seemed rather unnecessary, they could have cut the whole thing 10 minutes short, without changing much.
All in all I absolutely loved this and would recommend you to give it a try. I would definitely rewatch this one, just for the warm and fuzzy feeling it gave me.

I was positively surprised
After watching too many heavy Dramas I needed something light, brainless, bubbly and cute, which won’t cause me any major heartbreak. Contract relationship’s usually do the trick so I decided to give this one a try. And I really honestly have to say this Drama exceeded all of my expectations (that weren’t to high but still).Cast: I was absolutely intrigued to see the main actor playing a main role, after really liking him in “Find Yourself/下一站是幸福“ and I have to say that man can honestly act. His role was entirely different from his role in the other Drama, and he acted it that well that at one point I actually forgot he was the same actor.
The female lead was also absolutely beautiful, from the outside as well as in her acting. The side characters all did fairly well as well.
Plot: to me the plot seemed like a preset for one cliché after the other, and while some of them were of course fulfilled, other parts actually left me positively surprised. I won’t go to much into detail as to how, let’s just say unnecessary Drama was kept to the minimum, but it still managed to keep me interested.
The side stories were all entertaining to watch, I did not get the “too much side story, to mask that there’s no development in the main story” kind of feel.
What did kind of bother me with the main plot was the way they didn’t give three f*cks about hospital policy. In terms of what information to give to patients and families, who makes decisions etc. You’ll understand what I mean when you watch the Drama.
In the end this was, what it was supposed to be, a fluffy Drama with little substance but a lot of love. So if you’re looking for something lighthearted to keep you entertained for a couple of episodes, definitely try this one.

Vastly enjoyed watching, with some small issues
A friend recommended this one to me, as always I did not read the description, so I had no clue what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised. I did read the description afterwards and may I just say, to me it kinda fails to deliver the essence of what this Drama is really about... A beautiful story of two best friends that (come to) love each other. The description makes it kinda sound like it’s all about finding someone to marry as fast as possible, but to me that does not capture the essence of this Drama at all. That being said here’s my two cents:
Actors: I absolutely loved the actors, I liked how they kept the same actors for the scenes when they were still younger. The male lead was absolutely the star of this Drama, if I remember correctly the actor won a price for his performance in this Drama, absolutely deserved in my opinion. Like honestly he did such a good job at conveying emotions, even if all the other actors had been terrible, he’d probably make up for it.
Plot:
I don’t think I’ve seen this kind of best friend romance arch yet. I absolutely loved it. Starting from the fact that this plot is probably relatable to a lot of people, since most people have found their self in a situation were they were stuck in a platonic relationship with someone they were interested in romantically.. Generally I loved almost every aspect of the two Leads relationship and the change in their relationship, with one major demerit: how everything was solved/how they got together. There was this huge built up through out the Drama, making us anticipate them finally realising their feelings and getting together... however when the time finally came, to me it just seemed really rushed and kind of disappointing. That part was honestly kind of a blow to me. I would have also loved to see more of their beginning stages, turning from friends into lovers. However, even like that, I was still vastly satisfied with how their relationship progressed, I don’t think I’ve ever been that invested in two people’s love, I actually cried a couple of times, and I liked that this was not the: everything is solved within the last 10 minutes, giving the viewer no time to enjoy the happiness, kind of End.
Now honestly apart from the main story arch everything else was not really that special, the side love interests, to me were just really annoying, but I guess they were needed to make the story work.
We also have a lot of scenes with the families of the two leads, showing different kinds of love developing or existing, which was nice, but not as capturing as it maybe could have been. But all in all these scenes did well in guiding the leads through their experiences of life and love.
We also have some kind of “finding yourself” type of story arch, that to me however, was not really that interesting. But the love arch alone was enough of a storyline to me.
OST:
Imma give a special shoutout to the OST, since I loved the soundtrack of this one.
So if you want to be taken on a journey of love, sadness, some happiness, anticipation, maybe a bit of frustration and a couple of funny scenes, do give this one a try. To me it wasn’t the best Drama ever made but I do not regret watching it at all.

If you’re kind of kinky you might actually love this
Okay so this has two sides for me. On one hand the story or let’s say the characters relationship was extremely unhealthy and manipulative. However on the other hand there are a lot of people that can find joy in a setting like this, desperate love, the feeling of having to have this one person (obsession truly is a good title), as long as the feelings are reciprocated. To people who enjoy this kind of theme (in the Drama world at least, not necessarily in the real world) this will be really enjoyable. I also felt like this was a nice addition to the other two storylines of History 1. To me all history parts are basically about showing different kind of loves and relationships. And obsession (as long as reciprocated) to me also deserves a place between these different kinds of stories.

Cute but that's about it.
Hmm what shall I say, this one was somewhere in the middle between Tossara (which I rated: 7.0) and Love Mechanics (8.5+). It was not a “blow your socks of” kind of Drama but it wasn’t bad either.Let’s start off with acting: both actors did a solid job portraying their characters, I definitely bought their chemistry a lot more than with the Tossara couple. It’s hard to say a lot more about their acting, since there weren’t really any scenes that would have allowed them to show their potential.
Both were nice on the eye though.
Now the plot:
Well there wasn’t really much to it honestly, they we’re a really cute couple and I think a longer Series with room for a little conflict and relationship development would have done them a huge favour. I had my moments were I honestly wished it could last a little longer, because the characters and the story in itself were not bad at all. However, since it was limited to three episodes it was a little hard to connect and there wasn’t really much depth to the whole thing.
One more thing that this one for me did a lot better than the other two was: the telling of time and in general the continuity of the whole story.
This was one major problem for me when watching Tossara, since it was in no way shape or form indicated how much time was passing, and there were a lot of plot holes, characters jumping from one mindset to the opposite within what felt like 10 seconds. This was a little better in Love Mechanics, especially the holes in the plot part, how ever time telling was still rather confusing. This is Lovestory however, did not leave me confused at all. I still have no clue over what course of time the plot took place but it honestly didn’t matter for this one either, so it was fine if you did not know whether everything took place in 3 days or 3 years. There were also little to no confusing plot holes or anything like that.
Let’s say this one is a cute series to watch in between when you’re looking for something light and easy to watch.

Best on-screen chemistry
This one was my first Thai Drama and I (except for one part, which was made a little more acceptable by Gulfs inability to control himself) absolutely loved it. However I purposely waited to write a review until I had watched some different ones to be able to compare. This one is still one of my favourites.I will not say anything about the actors ability to act on their own, they were surely great however what seems more important to me with this Drama is the undeniable Chemistry that Mew (tharn) and Gulf (Type) deliver on screen (and also off screen for that matter). Never have I ever shipped any actors based on their acting together. But these two are just on another level and I can not help myself but love them together.
This is definitely supported by the amount of skinship in this series, that seemed extraordinarily natural (again thanks to their amazing chemistry), especially compared to other BL dramas that sometimes tend to be a little awkward when it comes to intimate interactions, as far as I have experienced. This one definitely took on screen action to another level.
Lastly let’s talk a bit about the plot. Honestly the plot probably wasn’t all that well thought out on it’s own. But that kind of made it a little more entertaining and fun to watch. However, all parts fit well together and left almost no loose ends. Everything that happened was in line with how the characters were portrayed.
The side characters were nicely chosen as well and played nicely into the main plot.
In the end the story even managed to surprise me, even though I‘m usually good at foretelling how plots evolve. What I also don‘t want to leave unmentioned is the great job the writer did with character development throughout the series especially on Types part. We can actually see him grow and change throughout the series.
Definitely watch it if you haven’t yet!

Worth it for the side couple
I wanted to give this one less but I’m giving a 7.5 for the side couple, because they alone made it worth watching.Cast:
I loved the choices for the actors of the side couple. They both did extremely well portraying their characters and had one of the best chemistries I have seen in a while.
The main actors were both okay, but they were lacking a bit in expressions a lot of the time, their whole story just felt a little dull. This could also be due to their character descriptions though.
Plot:
The main couple developed quite quickly which can be great, here it was a little too rushed in my opinion. There was no “getting to know each other” or “developing feelings” stage they just both jumped head first into it. Especially their lack of real conversation made that a little weird and for me hard to connect to their couple.
I theoretically liked their story, I watched all of their scenes, but it got very draggy in some parts. They did play through basically every standard BL plot component there is, which generally doesn’t have to be bad, if done right. Here it did feel a little too copied on some parts. Their characters in themselves without their couple were also quite lacking.. there wasn’t really too much (interesting) about them except for their love for each other. In general: I didn’t dislike them and their story, but to me they were not enough to make up a good series.
Now everything that was lacking for me with the main couple, I found with the side couple (as so often in series that have a mediocre main couple). Phu and Kao were literally my light throughout this series. Their relationship and feelings for each other were well developed, nicely paced, and unbelievably heartwarming. I also liked both characters as characters instead of just a couple. If I ever do rewatch this series I will most likely only watch their scenes. I do also sincerely hope this gets a second season so I can see more of them.
There was another side couple that just felt unnecessary and weird in it’s entirety. It was probably necessary to show that part of the story, because of the further development in the novels, at least that’s the only way I can explain to myself why they were part of this series. However, for that cause they could have cut the whole thing a lot shorter.
An overall feeling I got from this, that kind of bugged me, was that it was extremely obvious that this was adapted from a novel. There are things that work in writing, because you can see into the people’s minds and feelings. You can be a little over the top and unrealistic without it feeling too weird. If you put that onto a screen however, you have to make sure that the story makes sense being watched instead of read.
Soundtrack:
I didn’t like this one too much, not because of the music itself but because of the timing. There were some scenes that had extremely dramatic music playing in the background that did not fit the mood of the scene at all etc.
All in all, I would recommend watching this one for the side couple. Even if you decide to skip through all other scenes.
