Both deal with varied perspectives of family values as and how lgbtq romantic relationships might be nourished or be destroyed when external opinions hold a lot of weight for those involved in the romantic relationship.
Female lead loves a man she can’t have and in the process of this discovery she makes a new friend who just might make her believe in looking for love again.
Both are fights with terrible odds for the protagonists and a lot of heart. You might also learn a bit about history too.
Both take place in a school setting. They've also got a mystery that the students are trying to solve on their own but as they dig deeper the mystery is stranger than anyone thought.
They have similar themes of good vs bad and also strong thru line concerning family.
Very similar feel that constantly has you hoping/rooting for the best while the protagonists are thwarted at every turn.

Both are hilarious. Great chemistry between male and female leads and I don't mean just romantically. They play off each other well and make you laugh out loud like a lunatic at the most unexpected moments. They also make you feel for their dilemmas at the drop of a dime.
Enjoyed the supporting cast of KMHM more, but MND's parents are fantastic. You just have to cringe your way through the second leads, but it's worth it.
