Good storyline, lacking in Eun Sol and Baek Beom

In terms of cases and story line, season 2 was better than season 1. However, I feel like it lacks a lot when it comes to the relationships between characters. In season 1 they gave us more interactions and scenes with Eun Sol and Baek Beom. They’re the soul of the show. And I was really enjoying where they were going with their relationship by the end of season 1. I’d love to see Eun Sol and Baek Beom get together romantically, of course. But even setting that aside, this season missed their budding friendship at the very least, and the last episodes were clearly missing that special something.
I feel like they’ve also put Eun Sol aside, she essentially became a secondary character and that’s really sad because she is great and we deserved to see more character development and growth.
I absolutely loved how the relationship between Eun Sol, Dong shik and Mi Ho was still cherished. It’s very difficult to get that sort of chemistry right and I love how they are all so protective of each other. The best really.
I miss Stella and detective Cha! They were so much fun!
I found that sally’s character was just inserted into the show as a copy of Stella. And she was creepy with how obsessed she was with Baek Beom. It was quite unnecessary. Although I appreciate that the character allowed us, the audience, to see how Eun Sol feels about Baek Beom. All the looks. How she reacts when asked about her feelings for him etc. there’s definitely something there so I hope we get Eun Sol x Baek Beom in season 3. It’s about time.
Jang Cheol’s story line is also quite interesting and I love that he is teaming up with prosecutor Do. It was sweet how he acted with Soo Yeon and her daughter at the picnic. And I hope he gets the help in needs in season 3 (whenever that is). Can’t wait for Prosecutor Chal to be caught!

Essentially, this season was good, but lacked Eun Sol and Baek Beom scenes, as well as more character development ( Eun Sol’s), she is a main character after all!!
