Great Revenge Story
A drama filled to the brim with melodrama. Coming into this drama I thought it was going to be a paint by numbers show about revenge with a love story attached. Wrong. It's about complete and utter destruction of ones life for over 20 years just to achieve that sweet taste of cold revenge, and to be honest the love story is over before it really starts.A very strong performance from the leading actor Jang Hyuk (3rd drama I've seen from him) probably his coldest in terms of characters but I think he really embodied the role well and made me as a viewer go through all spectrum of emotions, which is a great sign of a powerful performance. The supporting characters were also great in either their help or hindrance to PJ's ultimate end game goal. I especially loved his relationship with Boo Cheon, they had a great love/ hate relationship throughout the whole piece.
I didn't think I would finish this as quickly as I did, its a bit of a soap opera at times but the ride is so compelling you forget about the ridiculous bits pretty quickly in my opinion. I 100% recommend this drama!

Better off just reading BL
I have to admit, this is why I only read BL. It always gets watered down. This show was enjoyable and had a likable ML, but really no story to speak of. It clearly had no budget, which doesn't mean that it's terrible. It's honesty not, the views and scenery were beautify shot as were the costumes. But the story and the weird music choices (playing eerie music in a scene that is supposed to be dramatic) really pulled me out of the immersion, sans the lower rating.
I'm not really a Idol fan and don't watch dramas for that reason, so not knowing who any of the leads were (I looked at their bios none of them have been in leads in anything else but this.) Their acting does leave more to be desired, but I'm sure with more experience they'll be fine in the coming years. Plus like I said the ML (probably the best out of the three) was likable. Watch for the scenery, but don't expect to be wowed by anything else.

What even was that?
I have this listed as a comedy because I refuse to believe this is meant to be played straight. Like it's so ridiculous and stupid in it's execution that it can only be a parody. But no.... this is meant to be a straight (as in serious) romance and well it's just not.First I'll list some positives about it.
- It has some, good cinematography. The changes between the scenes were really smooth and from what I saw of the manga (at the end of each episode) were pretty faithful.
- The villain towards the end was hamming it up, made me especially laugh.
- Some of the lines were pure cheese, but were unintentionally funny and that's really what made me watch it in the first place.
That's about it, the bad mix of the lead actors (in fairness they had a terrible script to begin with so I don't really blame them) terrible writing, the sound mix was off (someone would be walking on carpet but it would sound like they were walking on hardwood.) and the fact that I just couldn't take this as a serious story, it was just too hammy and too cheesy that they should have gone for either a more serious tone, or went full on parody. I skipped most of the end because it wasn't funny anymore and was just being a try-hard and failing miserably. The only reason I gave it a 5.5/10 is because there was an even worse jdrama ( Kanpeki Waifu ni Yoru Kanpeki na Fukushuu Keikaku) that wasn't even trying to act and made this one seem good by comparison.

Bit dated but enjoyable.
This is one of those movies that going in I didn't really have high expectations per it's subject matter, but it actually surprised me. It's by no means a master piece and would probably not be made today but was still enjoyable and had some laugh out loud moments.Serious the scene where she throws the dog had me laughing so hard. Lol :D
I think trying to show you should have confidence in yourself is great, but this movie kind of falls flat on it's face when delivering the message as it really only means that if your attractive. The ML waivered back and forth between a jerk and being the hero. I suppose in fairness he did say he was an asshole so I suppose he got what he deserved in the end. At least there wasn't some SML who had to stand by and watch as all the shit went down. Very 2006 too, the hair of that era was just..... a bad idea. The music was really good, I really liked it but i don't see myself turning this on again. One watch was enough.

Just Wow...
This series starts out like your typical Japanese horror drama/ movie where the settling is mundane and everyday until a slow creeping starts to bubble and things about our ML start to be revealed. Then it takes a hard left into Dexter. Like, just bam murder and guts everywhere. I don't think it's a spoiler to say a Japanese horror film has a lot of blood in it, that's basically their trademark at this point. It has a feeling to it that is both typical of the genre and not. I think the director/ writer took some inspiration from the film "American Psycho" as you really get the sense of dark humor from the ML, except he's much more dangerous than Patrick Bateman ever thought of being.
Without giving anything away, the film shows some pretty dark themes and scores of blood (not surprising of course) it promises a continuation but there doesn't seem to be one as the ML seems to only be beginning his rampage. It's enjoyable but it's not something that I would consider earth shattering as far as story telling goes. Worth the watch, and the sequel if it ever comes to fruition.
